It would be great if Jimmy Wang Yang won the battle royal and beat Chavo. He
deserves the push, and a secondary title like the ECW championship would be
realistic. In terms of star power this is one of the most lackluster battle
royal lineups ever. Only Kane and Khali have ever been pushed in the main
event in WWE before, and Kane wouldn't be missed on Smackdown where he never
does much anymore. Anyone else will lead to a dead crowd for the title match.

Personally, I feel, Wrestlemania 23 was better than people expected it to be.
Nothing really jumped out at you. I have the same feeling about this one. I'm
excited because it's Wrestlemania. The card, well.....we can judge the card for
the show at 10pm on Sunday night. Then we can all see how good/poor it was.
Thats how I feel about this show.

well basically whoever wins the battle royal tells you who is winning the match.
if a monster wins the royal than they win the title try to re-establish the belt
and than the babyface comes along and beats them. if a face wins chavo retains
and sets up the next feud

I can't understand all the hate, myself. There's some shit on there, like
Bunnymania, but overall it's not looking too bad and nearly all the matches
have the ability to be good if they gel right.

Looking at that list of Battle Royal participants, it's amazing just how many
jobbers the WWE is employing right now. Let's hope they give the victory to
someone who could genuinely benefit from it - someone like Kendrick or Burke.
If Kane, Khali or Mark Henry win, it'll be completely worthless.

What the hell is with the negativity!! Worst Wrestlemania EVER?!? Are you
kidding me, 9 and 11 were pretty bad. This at least has two solid title
matches..you people all need to learn to love what they give us, or just save
yourself the headache and quit watching! Maybe the card could be better, but
it's still Wrestle - freaking - MANIA! I just don't get it sometimes, how
there can be so much god damn negative reaction to something you have ZERO
control over...nobody is forcing you to order the PPV, watch MLB Sunday night
instead, they've got roided up dudes as well.

Fuck all the negativity. It actually looks like a decent card with a few
possible MOTYC's. Sure, some of it looks like hell. Bunnymania for one, but I
have optimism that Snoop Dogg and Santino Marella will save it. ECW title match
as well, but it's the ECW title. Although it would've rocked if Colin Delaney
was in it and won the battle royal. Floyd vs. Show should be entertaining at
least. But the MITB, Belfast Brawl, Edge/Taker, and the main event are good
enough reasons why this should will possibly own.

@Smo WMIX was actually one of the more fun WrestleManias to watch. The people
who bash it are people who started watching during the attitude era or
something. WM isnt all about match outcomes. If that was the case WM 4 was far
worse then 9.

Atleast the card looks better than WM 22. This show will be better than 22 too

Here's 70 bucks Vince as this year's WRESTLEMANIA stars are so much better than
years past. I can't wait to see all the cool lights & fireworks. Maybe that

Khali will probably win, but after his shitty term as the W.H. Champ it doesn't
look too good.
Kane is my pic for the win. Kane and Wang... lol.... that's funny.
Wrestlemania is only as good as the performance in the matches, if the talent
makes a good match the Wrestlemania gets better. Wresltemania will rock some
serious socks and everyone will be patting my back after it's done.

What is it with all the negativitey?? The card looks pretty damn awesome to
me..looks a lot better on paper than last years.
Honestly, what would make all the people dissing the card happy??
It's mania, it always delivers..if you don't like the look of it, don't buy it
but stop bringing everyone else's mood down by saying it aint gonna be great.
I'm pumped for sunday, hbk/flair could be moty as could cena/hhh/orton mitb4 +
edge/taker

Don't hold your breath that Matt Hardy will win MiTB, odds are, he won't even
show up. I hope I'm wrong and it would be great if he was the surprise 8th
entrant and cost MVP the match but no way he would win it. We need Matt at WM
in some capacity since the other one screwed it up.

Wrestlemania's usually don't have more than 2 great matches anyway, with the
exception of Wrestlemania 17.

I have to agree- by far, worst Wrestlemania ever... just look at the card:
Big Show vs. Money - since when is Wrestlemania about wrestlers fighting
meaningless celebrities? ;-)
...or having the gratuitous bunny match? How dare they give you T&A (or a
perfect time to get more food/ go to the bathroom/ get a drink...).
People are actually complaining that they're defending the ECW title?!? With
only a few exceptions, I have enough faith that Chavo can carry most anyone in
the BR through a match.
Umaga has proven in the past that he can have a good match with a non-technical
wrestler - as many would agree with his encounters with Cena.
Flair's last match against HBK? Please don't tell me you have something to
complain about here...besides, if HBK could pull a decent match out of Hogan, I
expect amazing things with Flair.
Finlay vs. JBL - 2 tough guys willing to take one of hell of a beating for a
great show.
When has a MitBM failed to wow us?
Taker and Edge both can and usually do put on a great show for Wrestlemania.
..and lastly, the triple threat match- where the only problem with it is that 2
of the 3 competitors "always" win- leaving very little hope (or care)
for Randy... but again, all three of them can and have put on great matches in
the past.
So- what's the problem here? No love for the IC or US titles? Big deal- they're
both in the MitB match.
No tag matches? well, it's not like there are a bunch of top tag teams on the E
now anyway.
I suppose everyone is just upset because the woman's belt won't be on the
line.
Or are you just complaining because the Rock, Austin, Hogan, or Folley won't be
there? If that's the case- blame them, not the E. They retired and moved on- it
would make sense for you to as well.
While it may not be the best line-up ever, I can't see any glaring problems
with it- especially considering what they have to work with right now.

knae sounds like a good ecw title holder to me let him win and wrestlemanis does
look horrible this year and if cena winz ima puke actually anybody who wins the
title out of them 3 wont be impressive in the least orton never does anything

Okay, maybe not. Realistically I can only see Dreamer or Kane winning unless
they really want to put the title on Kali (Yawn).
It would be nice to get a real upset at Wrestlemania and I can't see Vince and
co. doing something like not retiring Flair on schedule, having Show beat up
Pretty Boy Floyd, Taker loosing his streak or Orton keeping his title against
Vinces' two favorite wrestlers.
So anyway my big prediction, because it's the only surprise I can see happening
at Mania is Tommy Dreamer to win the battle royale and the ECW title!
Sadly I expect him to drop it within a month. But still....

I'm glad they're running the battle royal before the show, to give more time to
the other matches.
I'll be surprised if the Ric Flair/ Shawn Michaels part goes less than 45
minutes. Not for the actual match, but entrances, the match, and the longest
standing ovation we've ever seen.

Believe it or not, wrestling CAN be like a sport in this respect...a company
occasionally enters a REBUILDING phase. Right now Orton, Cena,Mysterio et al
cant keep the company going without guys like Taker,Trips and Jericho. We needs
more main eventers my friends.

I think they should have done an All Evolution Fatal 4 way match (Batista vs
Flair vs Orton vs HHH)with Ric Flair winning the title, then, after a few
minutes of celebration, the MITB winner cashes in his match and beats Flair for
the title and ends his career. That's a moment!

Negativity update.... If you're gonna be negative about wwe, which I am at
times, don't hate Wrestlemania, the card stacks to have a lot of potential, do
what I do and quit watching after mania because of what WWE put me through from
last april till january of this year. That was the crap that sucked, with Khali
getting pushed and Hornswoggle becoming prominent, this might be my last round
with wrestling because it really is seeming like they are trying to appeal more
to children, and I at almost 22 can't find Hornswoggle to be worth my time, and
not trailer trash programming.

Yeah, what a GARBAGE card this is. WORST WRESTLEMANIA EVER!!! I remember in
the GLORY DAYS when we had matches that TRULY DESERVED to be on Wrestlemania,
like The Bushwhackers vs. The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers. That was a legendary
match that was. Or Rick Martel vs. Koko B. Ware. Oh yes, that was truly a
Wrestlemania moment to remember. Let's not forget The Allied Powers vs. The
Blu Brothers!! Or of course, that legendary match for the tag team titles that
was Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett vs. D-Lo Brown and Test. Maven vs. Goldust for
the Hardcore title was certainly another match that will be remembered for
years to come. Compared to all those CLASSICS, this Mania sure does suck.
