Steroids Found in Atlanta Home Could Belong to Mike Knox
Posted by Larry Csonka on 04.07.2008

Wsbtv.com out of Atlanta is reporting that the stash of steroids hidden in the attic of a house could belong to current WWE star Mike Knox. Knox, real name Michael Hettinga, did live in the house at one point and paperwork in the boxes could link them to Knox.

The 2004 date found on the WWE Dress Code memo which was hidden along with the HGH and steroids in his attic means that Knox was likely working in WWE's Deep South Wrestling territory at the time. WWE implemented the Wellness Policy in late 2005.

If this is true I hope they have Stevie kill Knox on ECW before he gets punished.

He had such a bright future too...

Aren't roids supposed to make you ripped and not flabby like Mike "No Talent" Knox?

I knew his mustache was on the juice!

Stevie Push...

REACTIVATE

If true, Knox should be fire--not because he was taking illeagal substances, but for being too stupid to deserve a job. How the hell do you leave your stash behind after you move? That's about as boneheaded of a way of getting caught as I can think of.

Hands up anyone who wasn't, in the back of their mind, the sliiiightest bit disappointed that it wasn't someone higher profile.

We all have a devil side, we do.

stay off the drugs, son

Maybe Stevie placed them there? You did see Knox. He showed you.

Okay, I can understand the outcry here...but why fire the guy...I mean what did he do?

Yeah, stupid to leave behind roids, but if they test him and he passes...I think it would be obsurd to fire him unless legal action is taken against him.

But as far as his push goes...he's off TV for a while if true.

Saying steroids are drugs is an insult to real drugs.

And HBK still doesn't know who the hell he is.

Open plea to Vince McMahon and the rest of management in the WWE.
Please fire this man NOW.Not only is this man a sub par wrestler with negative charisma,he is very obviously not intelligent enough to be counted on to protect his opponent in the ring.
Please, please WWE,before there is a preventable accident, fire this man before somebody gets hurt.It would be horrific if Mr Knox tried to pin somebody ,and because of his lack of intelligence and common sense,he covered his opponents head with his man boob and suffocated them. For the love of God,please stop the insanity before it starts.

I agree that Mike Knox is craptastic and shouldn't be wrestling, but it is still speculation that it was his house. I don't have any love for the guy, so I hope it's him rather than someone I like.

Posted By: OldManStauf (Guest)  on April 07, 2008 at 05:33 PM

Mike Knox shouldn't be fired any more than Kennedy should have been after his little stunt last year. Most of you calling for his head simply didn't like him to begin with.

I think they should test first, then figure out a punishment. It was found in an attic with 2004 dress code memo. That means it could be before the wellness policy was enacted. If so, then Knox would not be in any/no trouble for it. Though, his push will suffer.

Both times I saw this guy I elieve the chant was:

"you can't wrestle... (claps x5)You can't wrestle (clap x5)"

What does it matter... if he wasn't fired for this, he'll be gone soon enough, or at least relegated to dark-match, only seen on TV when the whole locker room clears out status anyways, and deservedly so.

I believe he will be buried and eventually fired, probably due to this. So, Dear TNA, don't waste one penny on a phone call to this ass-tard. He doesn't deserve to wrestle for any company, steroids or not. The big difference is that now, the WWE has another reason to part ways with him.

The article says it COULD belong to Mike Knox. Didn't say for sure. Not a Knox sympathizer, but still...

all I got to say is big deal. If these guys want to use them and take there own life into there own hands I say let them.

Oh lawdie!
You must fire Mike Knox, Vince for something that happened in 2004!
It must be done!
Think of the children!
Will somebody please think of the children!?

Figured it would be someone that was down in DSW and there ya go!

Posted By: PHOENIXZERO (Guest)  on April 07, 2008 at 05:59 PM

all this uproar for nothing!! really he doesnt do shit in ecw and never will.now that bitch Nancy Grace will go on tv and start a bunch of shit because of something that is 3to4 years old. big deal, just get rid of him anyway because he cant do shit in the ring!!!

Posted By: sir loin (Guest)  on April 07, 2008 at 06:04 PM

Hmm I guess he wasn't there in 2004 with DSW since it wasn't around then but, meh... Maybe he was renting. If it is his, he's still a dumbass.

Posted By: PHOENIXZERO (Guest)  on April 07, 2008 at 06:06 PM

Couldn't you have hidden it in in your Fort, Knox?

Posted By: GiantApe68 (Guest)  on April 07, 2008 at 06:18 PM

Its an work. You see. Kelly Kelly framed Test for DUI and now Mike Knox for old roids. They're going to team up together and be the Rum and Roid Connection.

Posted By: Bolton (Guest)  on April 07, 2008 at 06:27 PM

The article did say 4 other wrestlers had rented that room, and that Knox was the only one currently on the WWE roster...but it's got Knox's pay stubs in the stash with everything else. I doubt he's been "set up" by anybody, given that I'm sure he could be easily released without the help of breaking the rules.

all together now 'you fuc*ed up you fuc*ed up'

what a stupid thing to do the pillock

Q: Say Mike Knox got a 60-day suspension for this (I believe he's already served one).

Would anyone notice?

Posted By: Shiori Coybito (Guest)  on April 07, 2008 at 06:30 PM

Oh, Mike Knox, nevermind, now back to the weather report.

Posted By: NastyRud (Guest)  on April 07, 2008 at 06:31 PM

All that WWE can legally do is test him and if he passes, tough shit. Their policy doesn't account for paraphanelia found in any random location where the person has been or lived. If that's the case, then the whole locker room would be fired. Just because he had the steroids doesn't mean he is on them now - period. If he passes, he's a free man. They can't fault a guy for, you know, the Wellness Policy actually getting someone off of illegal substances and doing what it was intended to do.

Yea, you're right. Nancy Grace is suckin on some lemonheads right now gettin ready for her show. I can read the headline now. Other WWE wrestler busted for 'roids. When is this gonna end. But she will fail to mention the 2004 part and say haven't they learned from recent events.

Posted By: NastRud (Guest)  on April 07, 2008 at 06:39 PM

Ok why is this "not good" No one gives a fuck about Mike Knox so this is the best case scenario. Fire his ass and nothing of value will be lost

Posted By: natedoggcata (Guest)  on April 07, 2008 at 06:42 PM

Vince should have given Nancy Grace Wrestlmania tickets, right next to the firework display. Wait a minute... isn't her show part of CNN / Time Warner or whatever the hell Ted Turner owns and is based in Coldlanta? It was hers!!!!!

Hey Mike, drugs are bad m'kay?

Posted By: William (Guest)  on April 07, 2008 at 06:52 PM

Awesome awesome awesome. Hopefully this will result in Knox being jobbed out to Stevie then released or at least de-pushed into oblivion.

Posted By: Evil Doink (Guest)  on April 07, 2008 at 06:53 PM

Remember when he showed up to the ring dressed in a Tux, got on one knee, and then proceeded to throw roses at Kelly Kelly? Yup, definitely ROID RAGE.

Posted By: Tasi (Guest)  on April 07, 2008 at 06:55 PM

Its all Cenas fault.

Posted By: Guest#8138 (Guest)  on April 07, 2008 at 07:01 PM

Its incredible to me that people seriously think the memo being dated from 2004 means anything. And the idea that Nancy Grace will pick up this story. No offense, but not that many people really care about pro wrestling. It was a easy target in light of a major tragedy but the major cable news media has moved on.

Posted By: Guest#9459 (Guest)  on April 07, 2008 at 07:04 PM

i hope someone got them out of the attic. i wouldn't want rats to get into the roids.

Posted By: timmy (Guest)  on April 07, 2008 at 07:19 PM

Was Knox under a developmental deal in 2004? I thought he was signed when they stated up DSW, which wasn't until 2005.

Posted By: Mike Campbell (Registered)  on April 07, 2008 at 07:25 PM

MIKE KNOX!!! Cue the dramatic gopher video.

Posted By: rvd420 (Guest)  on April 07, 2008 at 07:32 PM

WWE has come to terms with the release of ECW superstar Mike Knox due to wellness violation.

We'll be hearing that in a few days, maybe hours...

Posted By: Brad (Guest)  on April 07, 2008 at 07:42 PM

Yes. This story is unimportant and will not be picked up by the media. You know, since it HASN'T ALREADY BEEN WIDELY CIRCULATED, IN USA TODAY NO LESS. I swear to God these comments make me dumber after I read them.

Per BJC:

He could have had a legitimate prescription remember.

Posted By: Guest#8273 (Guest)  on April 07, 2008 at 08:10 PM

well, he MAY gotten busted breaking rules that did NOT exist when he POSSIBLY had these drugs.

let's make sure he is strung up before anything is confirmed.

Q; Knox Knox
A; Who's there
suspend
suspend who.
Suspend your dumb ass for having roids hidden in your house.

I hope this is the beginning of a 6 month long storyline "Who framed Knox?" wich will somehow culminate with a "Roids on a pole match" between Knox and Scott Steiner at TNA Bound For Glory.
