Don't listen to him, sir. You've got an enchanting musk.

Couture would kick Kurt's ass anyway, so I don't think it'd be worth it to Mr. Angle.

shut up"
Sure, what Bret said in the interview sounds pretty. And I think it's awesome that he's said in previous interviews that he's forgiven Vince for Montreal. But those of us who think that Bret is still bitter have only to look to Bret's own comments about Shawn Michaels to realize that he has not completely buried the hatchet. Personally, I don't really understand the mentality of forgiving the man who made the decision (Vince), but remaining bitter towards the man who pulled the trigger physically (Shawn). That is certainly Bret's prerogative, but after several public apologies from Michaels, one might think that a man who claims to have buried the hatchet might accept those apologies. I'm not saying he has to be friends with Shawn or anything like that, but Bret continues to make derogatory comments about Shawn. That's not an indication of completely letting go of his bitterness.
Regardless, it's nice to read that Bret is seemingly content and definitely happy about the impending release of his book. It's too bad that his stroke will forever prevent him from returning to the ring.

Michaels has NEVER apologized to Bret for Montreal. Let's just put that shit to bed.
Ted Dibiase has said Michaels recently tried to reach out to him in private (only took you damn near 11 years Shawn) and Hart would have none of it.
Can't really say that I blame him in any way shape or form.. but the real villain in all of this was Triple H. It was finally revealed that it was him behind the scenes that ultimately pushed for Shawn to go over at SS 97 after Bret refused to drop the title to Mr. "I won't return any jobs to anyone" Shawn Michaels. Neither Vince or Shawn moved on trying to steal the belt from Hart until "he should mind his own fucking business" Hunter Helmsley jumped in with his 2 cents.

Funny Mina how you COMPLETELY ignore Michaels comments about Bret. How, a few years ago, he told the crowd that he had beaten their "Canadian hero" when referring to Bret Hart, and then did angles that ripped Bret Hart. Yet Hart hasn't mentioned anything about that. Yet you consider Bret Hart bitter but not Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels? And Shawn Michaels NEVER publicly apologized. Shawn Michaels has said on several occasions that he DOES NOT regret what he did to Bret Hart and he would do it again if he had to.

Another side note, Shawn Michaels trashed Bret Hart in his book, so I'm still wondering the part where you claim Michaels is most innocent in this and has apologized publicly.

Appreciated the Couture comments. Wacky Kurt just continues to lose credibility.

I'm not saying that Shawn is lily white in this situation. However, in a 2003 interview with TSN's Off The Record with Michael Landsberg, a Canadian talk show, Shawn did state that he was sorry for how his part in the Screwjob affected Bret. Additionally, in a WWE Confidential interview in 2002, Shawn made his first admission that he knew about the Screwjob ahead of time. In that interview, he also apologized for the ramifications on Bret as a person. Yes, in both interviews, he said that he would do it again because he felt that it was the right thing for the business. Does that make him a horrible person? No. I don't think it does. Nor does his admission that he harbors some animosity over the myriad of things that Bret said about him and his family. On the same token, Bret's bitterness and animosity towards Shawn doesn't make him a horrible person either. It's how he feels and emotions are never invalid. The point I was trying to make was that it's obvious that Bret still has negative feelings about Shawn and his bitterness has not abated.
Responding to the comment about what Shawn said to the Canadian crowd back in 2005, he was *IN CHARACTER*. That was during the time period in which he was doing his brief heel turn for the match against Hogan. Those comments were made within the context of storyline. He was supposed to be drawing heel heat. He used the best way to draw that heat in Canada - reference Bret and the Screwjob. Anything done in the context of a storyline is not a valid argument for either man.
I've read Shawn's book too. In it, there are several comments that indicate that he feels some lingering animosity himself. Perhaps because he has made some efforts, as referenced above. Perhaps because, despite the fact that Bret forgave Vince, he has not forgiven Shawn and there was nothing more telling than his induction into the Hall of Fame. Bret specifically stated that if Shawn was present, he wouldn't accept. Michaels had gone on record prior and said that he felt that Bret deserved a place in the HoF and he would be more than willing to not attend that year so that Bret felt comfortable. In that, at least, Michaels proved gracious and sensitive to Bret's feelings.
Again, I don't believe that either man is blameless in the situation that developed. What I do believe based on the various interviews I've seen from both men and other material I've perused is that Shawn made an effort to apologize, both publicly in the interviews and in private, and Bret rebuffed those efforts. Again, that's Bret's prerogative. I just don't really believe that either man should be vilified for the situation. No one was perfect. Both did what they thought they had to do. Neither is a bad guy.

Everyone needs to understand that the whole Bret-Shawn hatred stems alot further than the Montreal screw job. Did you ever have to be around someone who you just didn't click with? I personally know people that if i didn't have to be around for work, I would NEVER associate with. These two just don't like each other. PERIOD. I say we just let it be.
