WWE News: Backlash Dark Match, What Happened After The PPV Ended, New Character

Post-Backlash news!
- Former IWA and WWC wrestler Al Barone (IWA's Cyber Viking and WWC's Paul Leduc) has been hired to play Santino Marella's bodyguard. The new character is expected to debut soon.
- The Miz and John Morrison defeated Shannon Moore and Jimmy Wang Yang in a dark match prior to the Backlash PPV in Baltimore, Maryland last night.
- After Backlash went off the air, Triple H continued to celebrate in the ring as confetti rained down in the arena.
We've got Guys in FCW waiting to be called to the main roster, and WWE is now hiring from the Indy Circuit.
Why give Santino a bodyguard anyway?

better off using some jobber from the indies in a bodyguard role than a potential future WWE star from FCW. If the guy is lucky, though, he may end up outshining them ;)

Uh.. I'm not denying HHH has an ego or anything, but Undertaker got pretty much the same celebration last month, except that Taker's hurt people and was entirely televised.

Yeah, Trips celebrated in the ring for like 5 minutes, and the fireworks display was a good 15-20 seconds. Only Trips could demand something like that.
Too bad I missed the dark match though, they were slow as all hell letting people in.

Honestly, HHH deserves to be Champion. He has spent the last 2-3 putting guys over and doing what's right for the business. HHH is at a point in his career where he realizes that he can't afford to let his backstage power overrule his way of judgement. He's got to be willing to put guys over and do what's right for the business. Besides, I don't think the WWE was ready for another John Cena title run.

So we can get Show vs Khali in a snoozefest & a 12 diva clusterfuck on PPV but Miz/Morisson vs Yang/Moore cant get a spot on the show in what was probably a better match?? No wonder buyrates & TV ratings are so low :(

This could be humorous. Al Barone used to come up to Lansing, MI and wrestle in the AWWL (run by the son of the Sheik). I have some fond and not so fond memories of him. This could be fun(ny).

Moore/Yang vs. Morrison/Miz for the WWE Tag Team Titles had to be done at Backlash in the show, should not be a Dark Match.
So it would have been more good to see win the tag team titles Moore and Yang, and instead he touched a Dark Match, and win the titles at SmackDown!, A beautiful satisfaction, but to win headlines in ppv would have been fantastic!
