TNA News: Survivor’s Anderson, LAX Push, Kong and More

May 6, 2008 | Posted by Larry Csonka

– Joel Anderson from Survivor has not signed a TNA deal as of yet. They brought him in with some hype, shot angles with Team 3D, but he hasn’t been seen or mentioned since. He has trained with John Hugger (Rellik) and some with Kurt Angle. Kevin Nash has also taken an interest in him, suggesting Anderson watch Scott Hall tapes since they are a similar size. Anderson has been given the impression that a contract is coming, but is getting impatient training without one.

– With Hector Guerrero being added to the LAX group, it looks as if LAX will be receiving major tag title push.

– Awesome Kong dropped the NWA Women’s Title to MsChif at the April 26th event in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Since she is under TNA contract the NWA felt that she needed to drop the title. TNA tried to pull her from the show, and according to live reports Kong worked as if she didn’t want to be there. She lost via Count Out.

– Team 3D will be going on a tour of Spain in June.
