LAME. Whatever happened to a tag team division.

    Awesome

WWE still has a tag team division?!?! No way...!

Posted By: Riiight... (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 05:49 PM

    Formula:
    - Maximum length of the match 7minutes (including entrances).
    - Punk will be isolated, with the usual stuff going on all match long.
    - Chavo and his croney will cost Kane the match.
    - Miz and Morrison will end up looking like complete bitches. Which will be
    lame.

At least it gives Kane something to do other than fight Chavo again. I'd love
to see Kane turn heel on Punk and have a feud over ECW title. Come to think of
it, it seems likely since One Night Stand is in June that Punk cashes the
    briefcase in to challenge Kane

Kane and CM Punk are buddies are the top contenders for the tag titles? What in
    the blue hell?

    Epic fail on all levels.

the wwe finally builds up a credible tag team, only to job them to a thrown
    together team.

    way to go wwe.

Is WWE going to announce *any* matches on their shows first? While I don't mind
the odd match announced online, it seems to be a common thing with them now

Posted By: Lynx Raven Raide (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 06:03 PM

Judgment Day looks good so far!

And it's about time WWE had a tag team title match on PPV. The last PPV they
did was Survivor Series. I'm just glad the tag title match is for the WWE Tag
Titles, so Morrision and Miz can get a chance to shine on the big stage. The
    match itself should be good.

Now if WWE could only put the World Tag Titles on either Cryme Time or
London/Kedrick things might start looking up for their tag team division.

Posted By: Matthew (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 06:04 PM

And I'm glad that this is happening! Yes, maybe Chavo and Bam will screw Kane's
chances of becoming 'double champ', but think about this - is not this a match,
where Miz and John can shine?! YES, IT IS! Just because one thing - they'll
succeed in defending there gold against the ECW CHAMPION and MR. MONEY IN THE
BANK (I only guess...). And actually this can take everything to one final
encounter between Kane and Chavito or EVEN can bring us a fresh cool chilly
feud (FINALLY!) between Shelton and Punk. Who knows... And because of these and
maybe more reasons this match will be UN-expect-FULL. I'm looking forward to
    this one.

P.S. I hope Judgment Day won't be the same crap as last year...

"Kane for your double champion!! Make it happen!!"

What about 'Money in the Bank Champion' CM Punk?

Anyway, I don't care if it is against two random singles wrestlers, at least
the tag titles are being defended on Pay Per View. That hasn't happened
since... I think Vengeance last year, and that was only because every title was
    being defended.

I say that kane will get the shit beat out of him and at the end of the match
punk cashes in the money in the bank.

Posted By: frank (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 06:08 PM

I would bet exactly the same as frank: Kane gets whooped, CM Punk cashes in--
turns it in against Kane (turning heel in the process). Now we can have that
    long awaited Kofi-Punk
    feud.........................................................

Posted By: M:-X (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 06:16 PM

im calling it. punk cashes in mitb immediately after the tag match

Posted By: brian (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 06:17 PM

i agree with brian, that was the first thought i had. secondly...when i schris
jericho EVER going to defend his title? this just gives it away that micaels
is going to win just like wmx7...

Posted By: killabnilla (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 06:25 PM

Geez, if you remember, Kane and Punk have been almost a regular team since the
    ECW/SD Agreement.

Posted By: Sparky (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 06:39 PM

Well at least the tag titles will be defended on ppv

    Kane and X-Punk

    What the hell?!

Posted By: Guest#7232 (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 06:47 PM

Here's a fun one WWE... just for shits and giggles and to make us care more,
    make Jericho/Michaels an IC match

Posted By: Eric (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 06:49 PM

This sounds lame as hell! NEXT!

Posted By: Dwayne (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 07:03 PM

Why Not have HBK go for Y2J's title. if your going to put a guy in a singles
match on PPV, even if it's a differnt fued you might as well put the belt on
the line, the only diffrence will be having to play the graphic.

Posted By: Davy (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 07:10 PM

I remember when CM Punk first debuted on ECW, I couldn't wait. Over a year
later, he is still spinning his tires in the mud. No memorable matches, no
memorable fueds, and now he is stuck with Mr. "I'm moving in
quicksand" Kane. Kane needs to retire and WWE creative needs to think of
something meaningful for CM Punk to do.

Posted By: D-Steak (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 07:13 PM

People can complain all they want, dont take away that its a pretty good card so
    far.

Posted By: Spike (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 07:36 PM

I'm cool with it because I get to see CM Punk wrestle in person. I'm going to be
    at that show

Posted By: Scott Liedle (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 07:39 PM

I hope to hell they dont lose.

Posted By: Litas Biggest Fan (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 07:44 PM

I hope Punk doesn't waste MOTB on an ECW shot.

I'm not sure I like the reason for the booking (consolidating two things on a
card Vince doesn't really want to waste time on. ECW's match and a token tag
match), but I think it will be a good (if short) match.

Posted By: Fenris (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 07:47 PM

    *SPOILER*

I don't want to spoil this for anyone, but both Punk and Kane are in that
tournament on SD this week, so this match kinda let's people know that Kane or
    Punk don't win.
I like the match, but I think they should've waited intil next wk to announce
    it.

Posted By: Bobby (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 08:00 PM

Hey, at least they don't have to go through a pay-per-view tournament with an
awful name and full of booking catastrophes to come up with a random team, and
this one might not suck that much.

Posted By: Woody (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 08:08 PM

this looks to be a decent card BUT...why have a NON-TITLE match on a ppv?

Posted By: rey (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 09:21 PM

At least it's a tag title match! It's what all of you have been complaining
    about since Survivor Series.

Posted By: Kevin (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 09:37 PM

Morrison on the PPV = good

Posted By: Scott (Guest)  on May 08, 2008 at 11:02 PM

    NO BUYS!

"the wwe finally builds up a credible tag team, only to job them to a

    way to go wwe."

           AND

"Morrison on the PPV = good"

If Miz and Morrison are what some consider a credible tag team then I give the
fuck up on pro wrestling. Thank god for MMA. At least they fire live rounds.

MORRISON on PPV = Absolute perfection, nothing less.

Posted By: Aname (Guest)  on May 09, 2008 at 08:53 AM

    Miz/Morrison = Many buys!

Oh yeah, because Kane and CM Punk have been together for soooooo long now that
this will be a *****star match. Get off Vince's dick will ya?

Oh geez look here, another non IC title match, because who cares about mid card
    titles anymore?

This PPV is going to suck worse than Sacrifice, and that's saying something.

Posted By: Orlando (Guest)  on May 09, 2008 at 10:51 AM

At least we can count on a few good matches. Jericho vs HBK cannot fail. HHH vs
Randy is always good and HHH is great at cage fights (though I'll admit the
    rematches are getting old)

I'm a little annoyed that their going to devalue the Tag titles like they are
now. Why not give the uber-over Jesse and Festus a run with the belts. Those
two get huge pops and have been in the tag division for a long time.

But then again, It'll give CM Punk another belt and Kane's got more tag titles
reigns to his credit than anybody else on the roster i can think of so it might
be good. It's basically Kane with a Clean X-Pac.

Posted By: Davy (Guest)  on May 09, 2008 at 02:25 PM

C'mon guys let's not be naive.Shawn isn't gonna challenge for the IC title..
