Gregory Helms posted the following on his MySpace page about being assaulted in a North Carolina bar earlier this week.
Just a quick note to let everyone know I'm fine. I hate when my name is attached to such retardedness (is that even a word) but sometimes, no matter how hard one tries, trouble can find it's way to you. Kinda like how bugs are drawn to a light. After breaking my neck and losing my mom in the same year, the last thing I need to happen is to be arrested for beating up some chumpstain in a bar fight.
I've always been amazed when people try to fight pro wrestlers. I mean, I understand or at least I try to understand that having any kind of celebrity status, no matter how major or minor, puts a bull's-eye on your back, but what do these people think? Do they think that they are gonna get our contract if they somehow win the fight? Do they really think it's gonna prove anything? I remember one time watching some guy try to fight Meng and I was just shocked because there was no way in this world that this guy could beat Meng, yet there he was acting like a total tool! Why???
And then, take my altercation for example, this guy is pretty much known as a career-loser, so did he think that fighting me would somehow make his life better? And what would I have to gain by whooping his ass? Nothing! Which, is why I was trying my best to ignore this jackoff. At least until he decided to swing on me.
Important note here, he only swung when he saw I was being held. We got a name for that where I come from, it starts with a "B" and rhymes with bitch! :) Hell, he's lucky Velvet Sky didn't get a hold of him, as mad as she was, I'd bet a year's salary that she woulda beat him down. :)
Was that last paragraph Helms admitted he doesnt wear the pants?
Anyway, good to see he's all good. Cant wait till he gets back

Whoa, being a wrestler and being it's MySpace, Helms sure has good writing
skills, esp compared to Ashley. He must've gone to the Lance Storm School of

Happens all the time on RAW, so don't come crying to me if you don't like it,
you green haired puss. Why, just the other day while standing in line at the
Check Cashing store I superkicked some unsuspecting jackass in front of me,
took his check and signed my own name on it in his own blood. He started cryin
but the woman behind the counter knew there wasn't nothin' anyone could do
about it, 'cept learn to like it. I walked out with two hundred fifty bucks and
the imprint of a chumpstain's jaw on my shoe. And if you think that's bad you
should see what I do at arm wrestling competitions.

I know this guy and Shane would have crushed him easily. He's a punk. I think

It's pretty cool that someone like Velvet Sky would date Gregory Helms. He seems
kind of dorky (nothing wrong with that) and you would normally expect women like
her would prefer a guy who abuses or cheats on her. Glad to see she's different.

Mr Helms was looking after his paycheck first and foremost. He did the right
thing, why jeopardize his career by beating some r-tard and possibly landing
himself in jail or in a lawsuit. Plus what guy wouldnt want to see his gal
whoop on some random ass.

well, that was certainly well written by Helms. i am glad that he didn't need
to bullshit by telling us it was 17 marines or how this incident has made him
lose his smile or whatever.
to anyone who is in disbelief that the man in a relationship doesn't 'wear the
pants' should really try not basing their views of relationships on european
porn and try taking a shower, comb their hair, take off their Star Trek
t-shirts and try meeting real life women.

Looks aren't everything, and what he seems like is apparently far different

Eh, he was right to try and ignore the jerk. The guy's neck is still healing up
and any fighting could've damaged it all over again. For that alone, the guy
who picked the fight deserves a sound ass beating. Who the hell takes a swing
on a guy with a broken neck?
I'd sue the bastard, even if I didn't need the money, just to teach him a
lesson.
