Why in the hell would shareholders care that a midcarder is going to switch brands?

Another interesting note from the meeting is that Vince said this year's Tribute to the Troops show will be airing on NBC instead of USA Network.

"Why in the hell would shareholders care that a midcarder is going to switch
brands?"
Because it's Umaga, Mr. Sulu. Anything involving him should be important, lest we all fall to the thumb.

So, a repeat, a repeat, HBK playing injured vs a mid-carder (maybe Jericho will get the message when he has to tap to Cherry), and a meaningless tag match - so much for those titles.
Oh, and Cena vs the retired commentator-mid carder ..

I would love to see a Umaga-Koslov team. Getting pissed and yelling at each other in Russian and Samoan. Striker managing, of course.

Hey, the IC Title is on the line. FINALLY!
Now, if Shawn and Y2J can habe a great match, it can hopefully give some credibility back to the title...
well, at least for a few days or weeks.

Because they have huge plans about Umaga on SmackDown!, and this don't work as good as they want.

Hey WWE title, IC title, AND Tag title ALL being on the line in a pay per view. I'm glad to see the IC and TT get some love for a change.

There has never been an announcement about the HBK-Y2J match being for the title, and WWE.com doesn't say it is either. Where'd you get this information?

I really hope the IC title is indeed on the line. Having Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho, a 4 and 3 time world champion, respecitvely, competing for it gives it a bit of prestige, at least in my book. Plus this is like the first time the IC and WWE Tag Belts have been on the line since like Vengeance last year.

If HBK wins maybe Y2J will say he wants a rematch and to make it interesting and give Micheals a reason to get into the ring, Y2J will put the belt on the line!

HBK vs Jericho is non-title because Michaels is going to pull off another injury win. This is going to complete Jericho's heel turn by having him 'legit' injure HBK who is going on the shelf for a while. Jericho will then feud with Jeff Hardy over the IC title. He is planned to be the biggest or one of the biggest main event heels in late 08 ealy 09.

Heel Jericho is amazing, but then again, so is Shawn...
Screw it, Shawn will never turn heel. The match will be good until the inevitable crowd-killer when HBK grabs his leg feigning injury.
And all these people crying about repeated matches... as long as they're good, who gives a fuck? Batista vs. UT and Benoit vs. HHH were some of the best series' ever.
