Torrie Wilson posted the following on her MySpage page about leaving WWE.
Well, I guess by now you have heard the news that I have severed my ties to the WWE. I would like to say that I have enjoyed 7 awesome years with The WWE and wouldn't trade any of my experiences for anything in the world. I have seen more places and met more friends and wonderful fans than I ever dreamed of when I pretty much fell into this business.
From the very first time I stepped out into a packed arena, I was hooked on that adrenaline rush and knew that I would be around for a while. I really did fall in love with everything about wrestling and I can tell you all that I feel so absolutely honored to have spent the time I did working for Vince MxMahon and his family and having the opportunity to work with so many really talented and genuine superstars.
You probably have heard about my ongoing back problems and it may even seem crazy....I mean, I wasn't exactly wrestling every single week on television but I was wrestling at least 3 days per week on non-televised shows....as well as practicing more than it appeared! I just believe that sometimes people's bodies can handle more than others and mine is finally telling me it has had enough! It might seem weird, but my thoughts in the last few months have been that if I can't deliver beyond my expectations and I can't continue to grow as a superstar...well, what exactly am I going to do? I may not be remembered for my "wrestling skills", but I damn sure can tell you that anyone that knows me well knows that I don't do sitting around too well.
I can't begin to tell all of you how much your support over the years has meant to me and I really want you to know that I am not going to disappear...I am just on to a different chapter of my life and career at this point.
I love you all and hope that you know that I will always see the positive in every situation. NOTHING can slow me down and I hope that nothing slows any of you down either...we just have to always look at everyday as a blessing and remember that everything happens for a reason!

She seems to have left WWE on good terms, so she'll probably appear on TV somewhere down the line, a la Sunny, Trish, and Lita at the Raw XV special. Not a bad deal, and I'm happy for anyone who can walk away from the wrestling business with no hard feelings and no serious permanent damage.

Torrie was a pimple on the ass of the wwe.In seven years, she refused to learn ANYthing about how to wrestle, got multiple pushes (over many women who deserved it much more), and wasn't even handed a mike (presumably because she couldn't even do that right).Vince had some boner for her and that was the only reason she wasn't let go. I mean, how can you justify letting Gail Kim and Christy Hemme (who in her 1 year with the company became a better wrestler than Torrie who had 7) go and then keeping this waste around at a better salary no less?

Insulting??? Do you have a penis? Aside from her lack of wrestling skills (which were still better than most divas these days, and hey at least she gave all of us multiple laughs in the ring), Torrie Wilson was an asset to the company. She's just about as bangin as she ever was!

Torrie Wilson is part of the history of the big buyout of WCW by the "E". She will forever be etched in that.

I remember one of the highlights of WCW a long, long time ago was seeing a gorgeous young thing named Torrie Wilson being hired by the nWo to seduce David Flair to turn to their side against his dad, and ever since I was definately interested in her. After Torrie got popular, WWE hired Trish, and naturally it worked out incredibly for WWE who ended up getting the better wrestler and frankly in my view, the sexier fitness model. Torrie, however, was and is gorgeous and if you wanna yell she can't wrestle, you have to specify which of the WWE women you mean since it applies to about 90% right now. Torrie at least TRIED. Her Playboys were awesome, towards the end she wanted to wrestle and get out of T&A and ends up with the back problem, and you guys now think she's ugly? Give me a break. Layla is UGLY, Torrie is a beauty who will be missed by quite a few. Thanks Nash, since you're the one who got her into wrestling! And thanks to Torrie for years of looking good and wish her the best of luck, unlike some of the douchebags on this site "omg she can't wrestle she's ugly nobody cares" - did you ever get on a magazine cover and sell the magazine out? No? Then shut up!
