Brooke Hogan posted the following message on her MySpage page before taking it down.
I know most of the public thinks my brother is some rich little selfish kid, but NO ONE knows the real story and I'm really pissed that the truth didn't come out from either side. A LOT of lies were told in that trial. Believe me. And it wasn't from us. John was NEVER home. He was at our house. ALL THE TIME. that should say enough…. Im not going to be out spoken right now, but If some s*** doesn't start getting straightened out, A lot of people are going to eat their words for lieing. I know all of the truth and I have back up. I never know how twisted this world could be but I'm starting to figure it out. And I'm gonna have to jump off my high road and tackle some ppl who are taking the low road. I know you guys don't understand, but you will really really soon. Keep praying. And by the way, before you judge anybody, make sure you really know them. I promise you if you were to meet my brother he would give you the shirt off his back. He's not "NICK HOGAN." AND hes not the person he plays on tv. People are so gullible now a days…"
She then took the message down and replaced it with this.

Know what I hear?? Blah blah blah blah blah....just more rantings from another spoiled "semi-celebrity". The kid drove with alcohol in his system (fact)...was speeding and racing (fact)...this caused him to lose control of his car (fact)...and caused a catostrophic injury to his passanger (fact). All the other personal BS doesnt matter. Im sure they are telling the truth that he didn't have a great relationship with his parents but thats neither here nor there. Fact is that he is guilty of what he was charged with and should face the consequences.

As someone else pointed out.
He was driving recklessly and caused an accident that turned someone into a paraplegic.
He had alcohol in his system.
Not saying that everyone else gets a free ride after Nick. Someone gave him the alcohol. Someone was racing him. And frankly - he could have hurt or killed someone else.
But anyone want to guess that he will be driving within weeks after getting released?

I find it funny how everyone wants to crucify Nick. Yes he is guilty for his actions, but nobody looks at the actions of his passenger. Mainly not having his seat belt on. I was hit at 75mph on the driver's side of my car. The difference between me being here today, and not six feet under? I was wearing my seat belt. Bottom line. All involved made a stupid, and careless decisions. Some are paying the price with jailtime, and some are paying with their life. It's sad, but unfortunately true. Maybe we can all learn from this horrible tragidy

I'm sorry. What Nick did was shitty, he deserves punishment. But Graziano (sp?) waived any rights to be felt sorry for when he voluntarily got in the car with his good friend who he knew was a reckless driver, who he knew had been drinking, and then chose not to wear a seatbelt. His condition is his own fault, not Nick's.
Nick should be punished, because he broke the law and could have hurt someone who didn't choose to put themselves in danger.

Envy that's probably how she began her music career and it didn't work then either. She is mostly saying these things as they gear up for a civil case. In the case, the father of john will talk about his relationship with john and his mother. From all reports john's father was under a restraining order from his wife and son.Yet he is part of a multi- million dollar civil suit. So Brooke is floating the Bolleas defense in court. John WAS a grown man, and he made as many bad decisions as nick. If you were 23, would do something that your stupid 17 yr. old friend wanted ?

There's a strong statement.
Brooke might have a point..
Everybody is too negative, but that's why we have a court system to find and to commit justice and rectify the issue with a conclusion.
Brooke, keep hoping for the bset along with your family and if there is something that needs to be examined carefully, please do so.
