We actually got a video. I might have to buy a subscription to RVD to see this whole Warrior thing. Oh my god, this is awesome. And people say RVD can't cut a promo in the overrated workers blog? Check this out you losers.

Warrior Warrior?

Can I point out how sad it is that RVD does Warrior better then Warrior does Warrior these days?

Posted By: Harry (Guest)  on May 15, 2008 at 01:47 PM

Well, if RVD ever goes to TNA, I know what gimmick he'll be given.

Posted By: Bob (Guest)  on May 15, 2008 at 02:02 PM

Yeah, Vince really knew what he was doing by not pushing RVD to the moon when he was clearly the most over person in the company post-Invasion.

Posted By: McLovin (Guest)  on May 15, 2008 at 02:04 PM

Yeah McLovin, because when Vince finally got a clue and pushed Rob, he totally didn't blow it. No, not at all, let's forget he got caught driving while high as a cloud because he made a funny video with some washed up homophobic looney. Yeah, dumbass Vince not realizing he's over...

Mr. Perfect's DVD should be interesting. I can't wait to see the match listing for this set.

Im actually shocked someone as left wing as rvd would get on with someone as conservative as the ultimate wanker.

Posted By: graant (Guest)  on May 15, 2008 at 02:31 PM

Yeah Bill but Vince will give Jeff Hardy as many chances as he wants and do you think that really there aren't other dopeheards in WWE really I mean seriously.

RVD is/was a spot machine. That's great if you like spots but not so great if you're like me and your favorite wrestlers of all time are guys like Regal, Finlay, Benoit, Eddie ... believable heavyweights (by that I mean they have to be able to credibly mix it up with heavyweights) who always tell or told a story in the ring. Bret Hart often refers to pro wrestling as an art form and those guys I listed, plus others of course, deliver the art of pro wrestling.

RVD and ECW in general delivered garbage, taking nothing away from the athleticism and pain tolerance needed to deliver that garbage. So, RVD: awesome athlete, marginal wrestler.

"Im actually shocked someone as left wing as rvd would get on with someone as

Why is this shocking? Some people are able to put political differences aside and form or maintain friendships.

Supreme Court Justices Antonin Scalia and Ruth Bader Ginsburg are political polar opposites, yet are good friends in real life with a common appreciation of opera and other forms of art.

If you like someone enough, you'll put petty differences aside and not discuss them to maintain that friendship. We can all agree to disagree.

wonder how baked RVD was when he did that.
lol.

A reality show in the making, this would sell!

I always knew RVD was good at yelling gibberish in his promos.

Jeff Hardy did not get caught driving high. He got caught taking pot to his house, where i'm sure he would have smoked it in a responsible way.

Good Wresters don't have to be good technical wrestlers. Line Mic Foley up with Dean Malenko and tell me who the better professional wrestler is. The answer is Mic foley. He wasn't the superior wrestler, but he entertained people a hell of a lot better.

the end

well, TNA already has the Black Machismo and Stone Cold Shark Boy, why not The Van Dam Warrior?

i'm calling it now. warrior defeats orlando jordan with a sick van terminator, flying turnbuckle to turnbuckle.

"the art of pro wrestling" - LOL

Of course there's an art to everything, but to trash ECW and RVD, then say something like that has got me LOLing. Wasn't Regal tangling with a leprechaun just a few weeks ago?

The funny thing is a seasoned pot head can drive while high. They can't drive without being high.

Somewhat unrelated, but people who say ECW provided only "garbage wrestler" obviously don't know what they are talking about at all. One of the reasons ECW was so great was for its variety. For actual quality wrestling, you had guys like Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko, even Benoit, and ECW's own Tazz was pretty good technically in his time. Then you had spot guys and luchadores like Rey Mysterio, RVD, Sabu, Psicosis (spelling?), Juvi, etc. Then you had the hardcore brawlers like Raven, Sandman, Dreamer. They had a good blend. Plus, ECW (Heyman in particular) was great at highlighting the talent's strengths and hiding their weaknesses, making everybody look even better than they were. People who don't know any better like to think of ECW as only hardcore, tables, chairs, and barbed wire type of stuff. What they don't realize is that is just what most got it noticed. Its fans know the truth, though. ECW was NEVER just about that stuff, which is why WWE could NEVER understand, or recreate the REAL ECW.

Hell yeah! A Mr. Perfect DVD set. I can't wait to see the match listing for that set. That set should be awesome.

Um, kiddo, doing an impersonation of another wrestler is not a promo.

bill, "high as a cloud"? how old are you ?like 60?

Advice to Mr. Szatkowski: Stick to your own gimmick. The last guy who imitated the Warrior (Renegade)...well...things didn't quite work out for that guy.

A Curt Henning DVD? Now that's perfect.

"Um, kiddo, doing an impersonation of another wrestler is not a promo."

Except for...you know, when it is. Like NWO, BWO, DX and the like did all the time.

Hahah, love the background music for it

As I pointed out in the news bit when Warrior first launched his site, it's unprofessional and stupid to call him Warrior Warrior in a news piece. He just changed his name to Warrior, he didn't change both his first and last names to Warrior. I don't care if he's a complete loon, this is supposed to be a news piece. Leave your silly commentary to the opinion parts of the site. As I said before, it's like having a news piece on HHH, but calling him "Mr. Stephanie McMahon."

I'm not watching this video unless the odd couple theme is playing in the background...

Wow how can so many people can get so overboard and bitchy over an amusing video?

Do you realize that WWE wouldn't even hire wrestlers like Benoit and Eddie until ECW already hired them and held matches with them? WWE had to copy ECW's ideas and before they would hire these supposedly more credible wrestlers than RVD. But if you really find a Benoit match or an Eddie match more credible than an RVD match then you don't know what a true competition looks like. Believability is not jumping off the top rope with a headbutt onto a wrestler who just lays there waiting for his opponent to headbutt him. If you want to see what a competitive match looks like, watch some MMA. RVD with his kicks to the head looks just as or more believable than the wrestlers you named. RVD didn't kill himself with drugs like Eddie or murder people like Benoit did, so that's a plus. I'd say that getting caught driving while high on weed is pretty mild in comparison.
