Hold up, where is the TNA World Champ... errr ... Joe you turning up?

"a Fan's Revenge Lumberjacks with straps match"...omg...what will they think of next?
Posted By: Guest#6881 (Guest) on June 10, 2008 at 11:35 PM
Sorry man, the past few Impacts have been (mostly) gimmick free and building on all their major storylines. I think someone finally got the message. Let's hope it's in time to stop the ratings slide.
Posted By: Ken B. (Guest) on June 10, 2008 at 11:38 PM
Hey Guest#6881, TNA already did a Fan's Revenge match in the past on PPV with Jeff Jarrett vs. Samoa Joe. Nice try though ya Vince Lover.
Posted By: Guest#6881 is a WWE mark. (Guest) on June 10, 2008 at 11:40 PM
Let's not jump on the Fan's Revenge Lumberjack Match as at least this gimmick has been done before (Jarrett-Joe) so there is history and it's not overly convoluted.
Posted By: Andy Clark (Guest) on June 10, 2008 at 11:42 PM
To be fair, the Fans Revenge concept has been done before, so it's not necessary to come here and be all "OMH fans revenge this sux russo sux" considering they did the same thing at No Surrender 2006.
Posted By: 353 (Guest) on June 10, 2008 at 11:44 PM
wow they finally started the x-cup
Posted By: Guest#8090 (Guest) on June 10, 2008 at 11:45 PM
Not to bash TNA or anything but what is a Fan's Revenge Lumberjacks Match? Ive never seen one.
Posted By: Guest#2004 (Guest) on June 10, 2008 at 11:46 PM
They pick fans out of the crowd and let them strap the wrestlers when they get tossed from the ring. They did it in Joe vs. Jarrett a while back and they laid into JJ pretty good and he didn't spend too much time outside the ring after that.
Posted By: Guest#1294 (Guest) on June 10, 2008 at 11:55 PM
Wow, it actually sounds like a regular episode of Impact. In the good way.
Posted By: Dan (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 12:00 AM
Not that I want to offend anyone, but an another Fans revenge match (Somoa Joe couldn't fix that mess). Well as long as they don't view Fan videos like last time. That fat Emo kid with a whip still haunts my nightmares.
Oh my God, I a WWE FAN actually remembers something from TNA 2 years ago! Maybe tha's because I actually watched TNA regularly until I got sick of the seemingly Bipolar characters, booking, old ex-wwe rejects and of course the horrible horrible undefendable commentary of West and Tenay! I enjoyed TNA and I wish I could again but until they get new commentary people I can't sit through it without cringing. I wish you TNA guys would stop labeling everyone in the same category it's f'n racist!
(I am not black but damn it is racist)

SHOCKING how they put the best match on Xplosion. Total imbeciles.

England tour? Joe is England you fools.

Revenge Lumberjacks with straps match
its so funny I can't get mad at that
Posted By: Colin (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 12:39 AM
I bet Roode and Storm are sure happy they are back in the tag division! So much for upward momentum for TNA "originals".

"I bet Roode and Storm are sure happy they are back in the tag
division! So much for upward momentum for TNA "originals"."
They're going to be challenging for titles how is that not momentum for TNA orginals? You must be thinking about WWE tag titles
Posted By: TWilliams (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 01:08 AM
sounds better than the average wwe ppv LOL
Posted By: Darren (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 02:13 AM
hat tag match replacement angle is old school, sounds like fun.
Posted By: Guest#1640 (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 02:52 AM
The show looks really weak. Not much too it.
I think there is a chance that some of the stuff they taped on Monday will end up here. They have done this a few times.
Posted By: Spike (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 03:37 AM
Fans should never ever be encouraged to attack wrestlers in any way. Ever.
Posted By: DG (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 03:50 AM
HOLY SHIT!!!!! MCMG won 2 weeks in a row!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What happened to Team Mexico? Detained at the border?

"Booker T pinned BG James. Basically a squash here"
AWESOME!!!
Posted By: scott (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 05:39 AM
Seriously, who WOULDN'T want to beat Robert Roode and not get arrested for it? And hey, the MCMG won two weeks in a row - maybe they're off punishment? Who knows. I like it.
Posted By: josh (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 08:04 AM
TWilliams, I think he meant that a few weeks ago both were being pushed as singles stars, yet now they're in the tag ranks. Thats a bit of a comedown, and I'm not sure if TNA have lost confidence in them, or are merely giving them some time to develop more, or have just chucked them together as a team because they've nothing else for them.
Posted By: dennett316 (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 09:09 AM
I guess Frank Trigg is going to start wrestling now too. Who's next, Hermie Sadler? *sigh*
Russo-fn-riffic!
Posted By: Nick (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 09:45 AM
The MCMGs suck.
All they do are kicks. Plus Shelley looks like he is on the gas or cutting weight.
BTW, the shows reads NEGATIVE BAD~~!
Posted By: The Fuj (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 10:44 AM
Team TNA win all their matches so far, and Speed Muscle don't win any match yet? DAMN!
Posted By: L'Mago (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 11:02 AM
I hope someone in TNA realizes that in order for the World Cup to be a real competition, the other teams have to actually look like they can win....can we see some wins by the other guys. This is why CMLL won't let Mistico come to TNA and have probably set conditions on the others. There is no way they are going to let Ultimo Guererro job to Eric Young.

Why complain about the complainers...
I can't wait to see this Impact. Probably won't be as good as this coming thursday's show, but still looks to be entertaining.
Posted By: bighustle (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 12:25 PM
i get the feeling that Rhino is injured. At Monday's tapings the original plan was for him to face Kurt Angle but that plan was scrapped, and not because Kurt was injured because he is reportedly feeling fine. Now they write him out of the tag main event for next week's Impact. Idk if i should be worried about the War Machine. I hope he doesn't have any backstage heat...
Posted By: bighustle (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 12:29 PM
They've done two fan's revenge strap matches one in the weekly PPV days that involved Jarrett and another one with Jarrett vs Joe. Things didn't get too out hand, the Joe/Jarrett match really put Joe over.
Posted By: Guest#1706 (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 12:45 PM
EPIC WIN, MUTHAFUCKAS!
Posted By: Guest#4723 (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 12:55 PM
After a great PPV and what sounds like a great Impact we get this turd. No World Champion and what sounds like an overbooked match for the Tag Belts at the next PPV. The only thing that sounds really good is having BG get squashed by Booker T.
Posted By: JAK (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 02:02 PM
EPIC FAIL!!!!
Posted By: Epic.... (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 03:16 PM
That's two tapings in a row with no Abyss. What was the point of bringing him back at the PPV if they aren't going to follow up.

The Internationals team looks pretty sorry.
Davari who mostly jobbed in WWE, is the leader, but from the one or two matches of his I've seen, I'll admit he does show he has some ring psychology.
I've only heard of Alex Koslov from PWG and he seems to be mediocre at best, from what I've heard.
As far as Tyson Dux goes, I've seen him on WWE Velocity and can't remember much else about him.
If Doi and Yoshino are on the Internationals team then they seem to be the only thing going for that team.

uh EPIC FAIL at the terrible joke of what TNA does at the next ppv sorry wwe marks thats an old TNA joke we will be just laughing at you from here on out. Oh but go ahead and make more lame jokes about pole matches we'll be watching actual wrestling while you get "million dollar giveaways" yeah moving on. Fellow TNA fans ignore these losers they're trying to hang on to what doesn't exist anymore and trying to make themselves bigger then a 6 year company is all you need to know about the WWE. Bye Bye losers.
Posted By: LMAO (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 09:52 PM
Yeah my fellow TNA fans! Lets all gather up next thursday and bring that 0.80 rating to an epic 0.81! TNA for life! LULZ XD
Posted By: LMAO (Guest) on June 11, 2008 at 11:20 PM
Am I missing something, how did Roode and Storm get into the tag-team title scene?
And if that wasn't confusing enough, they add a gimmick on top of it(?).
You know I like TNA, but sometimes they do too much too soon. TNA would be in much better shape if they took their time developing these feuds. In fact they should look at WWE's example at how to build feuds properly. It's the one thing WWE tends to excell at no matter what.
