Hogan Audio Tapes Confirmed To Be Graziano Family Member
Posted by Ashish on 06.16.2008

TMZ reports that the Tampa Tribune has confirmed that the disturbing audio messages left on Hulk Hogan's voicemail are from Frank Caruso, the 32-year old half brother of John Graziano. John's father, Edward, confirmed to the Tribune that the voice was Caruso. Caruso is a child from his estranged wife's first marriage.

Incase you didn't hear the audio yet, Bubba the Love Sponge played it on his radio show this morning. The audio is here. The language from Caruso is pretty disturbing.

I have no problem with what the kid said.

"Pretty disturbing" is crippling a kid and then sitting in jail worrying about what kind of reality show you can get when you're done serving your time. Now THAT'S disturbing.

That's ebcause you are sick, and bia. He shoudl be charged for harassment, and threats. Last i checked, that's illegal and immoral.

I've heard worse. I think it was from my bank manager. *shrug*

You can kinda understand him being angry enough to do that, what with some of the stuff Hogan has said. But it's pretty damn stupid, leaving a threat on an answering machine. I'm guessing he was drunk or something.

Posted By: Fenris (Guest)  on June 16, 2008 at 04:14 PM

Regarding the email below: It is absolutely wrong to threaten somebody, and he should not be allowed to do that, and if deemed necessary, to be punished.
However, it still fully 100% support the punishment for the Hogan kid. He should just be quiet and serve his sentence. Prison is not supposed to be comfortable. Hopefully he really hates it there, so that will teach him a lesson not to drink and drive.

While, I don't exactly agree with him bitching about being in a crappy jail cell, he did deserve it. On the other hand it's not like he ment to do what he did. It's not like when he got into the car he said, I'm going to crash this mother fucker. Seriously, shit like this happens all the time. THIS just so happened to someone famous.

Nick Hogan don't "cripple" John Graziano. Graziano isn't little kid, and if he don't think about protecting himself with such speed, it was his fault too.

Jeez i hope The Hulkster gets a tv show out of this.

John Graziano is a vegetable because of Nick Hogan's DUI.

Posted By: flank (Guest)  on June 16, 2008 at 04:32 PM

No, John is crippled because he didn't put on a seatbelt.

Those tapes aren't disturbing. The Hogan tapes are FAR more disturbing.

pretty disturbing? you clearly grew up in the suburbs.

Hogans realized over the last several weeks that "support" for him and his family has gone down drastically.

I think these voicemails are a work. Its not beyond an ego maniac like him to pull this kinda crap.

Whaaaaaaaa I need sympathy brother!!!!!!

Its a work.

Posted By: Hogan wants sympathy (Guest)  on June 16, 2008 at 05:00 PM

And this clip was from Bubba the Love Sponge...a known good long time personal friend of Hulk Hogan and a Hogan mark to boot.

If this came out anywhere else, I might have believed it but with Bubba...Hogan...the ego's ... doesnt pass my smell test.

John Graziano is a vegetable because of Nick Hogan's DUI.

Nick didn't get a DUI get you facts right.

Even if Graziano wasn't wearing a seatbelt, Nick should not have been driving in such a way that they would even need the protection of a seatbelt.

Posted By: Chico (Guest)  on June 16, 2008 at 05:12 PM

Who else could have called Hogan?

Ultimate Warrior calling to say the Hogans are a bad influence and also to say He's seen Hulk in the shower?

HBK calling to rip in to him for using the Lord's name in vain and that he and his retarded son will burn in purgatory for eternity followed by a praise the Lord.

Vince McMahon calling to see if Hogan will give the password (I killed Katie Vick and raped her corpse) for a grand prize of.....2 American Dollars!

Posted By: Lukas (Guest)  on June 16, 2008 at 05:12 PM

I think the funniest part of this whole thing was how Bubba and all his people were talking like they were so outraged about what this guy had to say. I realize Bubba is on Hogan's nutsack 24/7 but does he not realize the stuff he has said over the years is worse than a drunken message where honestly no real threats were made other than classic tough guy talking.

"Even if Graziano wasn't wearing a seatbelt, Nick should not have been
driving in such a way that they would even need the protection of a seatbelt."

John KNOW what Nick driving in such a way. Grazianos know this, and Nick's parents know this. John older when Nick. And he still don't stop Nick and don't put on seatbelt.

Posted By: L'Mago (Guest)  on June 16, 2008 at 05:24 PM

I agree Nick was flat out driving like an asshole, and has to live his whole life knowing he crippled a friend. That being said, John has to have known that a) Nick had been drinking and b) they were going to drag race and that he should be wearing a seat belt. It's not like he deserved what happened to him, but, as adults, we should know that our decisions (wether it's what we do or what we allow others to do in our company)do have consequences to them.

Posted By: Marc (Guest)  on June 16, 2008 at 05:35 PM

gotta love the mock outrage from bubba, who discussed his sex life in disturbing detail on the howard stern show

'the b-word? my goddddd' lol

The Hogans are pretty pathetic... I feel bad for Graziano, but I don't feel any better picking their side over Hogans.... Something just tells me both sides are messed up, just so happened that one was more of a victim to feel sympathetic too.

Posted By: Guest#8267 (Guest)  on June 16, 2008 at 05:38 PM

Nick Hogan was racing his car, way past the speed limit. That is against the law and the fact that the guy sitting next to him wasnt wearing a seatbelt doesnt mean he enters nicks car at his own risk. Thats not how it works. Nick should go to jail for putting this kid in a hospital bed for the rest of his life. I dont care if he was wearing an innertube, Nick is completely 100 percent responsible for this incident and he has to do the time.

As for these threatening tapes, I would not be surprised if this guy was drunk, I can understand why he is upset but he shouldnt threaten anyone.

With no seatbelt Nick would of had to been holding up traffic for John not get seriously injured. I suffered a concussion from being young and dumb, with no seat belt on, and I was doing all of 35 MPH.

By no means am I saying Nick did not get what he deserved punishment wise, and personally speaking he needs to "man up" and do his time like anybody else would, but to say John doesn't have any fault his way due to a) knowing Nick was drunk, b) knowing they were going to race and c) not wearing a seatbelt is truly taking on "hating on anybody named ____ Hogan" to a new extreme.

Posted By: T-Mirk (Guest)  on June 16, 2008 at 05:53 PM

Like Graziano didn't know Nick was drinking. He is responsible for getting into the car of a drunk. What happened was a shame but oh well. Shoulda had your seat belt on.

Posted By: Guest#7225 (Guest)  on June 16, 2008 at 05:59 PM

John Graziano is 22 year U.S. Marine and former member of Bollea's pit crew (!). Stop calling him kid. It's not like Nick force him into this card...

I just love how Hulk called Nick a "precision driver." Right...stop watching Fast and the Furious or get ON A RACE TRACK where at least innocent drivers won't be affected by your idiocy.

Posted By: EDvolvED (Guest)  on June 16, 2008 at 06:09 PM

he wasnt convicted with a DUI, he blew under the limit, he was convicted of reckless driving and that's what crippled Mr. Graziano. Same thing happened to Dany Heatley who ended up killing a teammate in a similar situation and was not convicted for that crime.

i condone threatening anyone.
however, can you blamr the guy?

his brother is a vegetable. yet the guy who is responsible, main concern is the possiblity of his reality show.

Posted By: jd (Guest)  on June 16, 2008 at 06:17 PM

they werent just racing. they were doing that drifting thin that was in the too fast too furious movie. or as Hulk put it on Larry King he was precision driving. what i want to know is how someone that pretty much just got their liscense is trying to start a career of car racing. in most states you have to be 16 to get your liscense and he was 17 when all this happened ,which it looks to me like he hadnt been driving that long legally.
also i think that from what the Hogans have said about the Grazianos being bad parents and such it should be open season for anyone in that family to verbally tear any of the Hogans a new one.

if something happens to Hogan i hope something happens to Bubba too . I cant stand that redneck

In what universe is this a good idea? The grazianos were set to win some money in court. Now Hogan's lawyers will probably get him off with only paying a couple mil, and Hogan will get that back in a hurry

Posted By: Jake (Guest)  on June 16, 2008 at 06:23 PM

I get sick of people acting like Graziano was TOTALLY innocent. He was the adult in the situation. He could have either put on his seatbelt, told Nick not to race, or even gotten out of the car. He did none of those things.

Who's to say that he's not the one who told Nick to race in the first place? I can Totally see that. "Come on Nick, let's race these punks. We can smoke em'"

And for the record, Nick wasn't "Drinking" he was NOT even close to the legal limit. However he is underage to be drinking at all.

Furthermore, I do NOT believe he deserves to be put in jail over injuring Graziano. It was a complete accident. Yes, he was negligent, but so was Graziano. I think the guilt over destroying multiple lives is enough punishment.

And don't fool yourself, the kid might seem like a prick, but he feels the guilt, and will for the rest of his life.

I do however feel he deserves jail time because he had been be cited MANY times over his reckless driving. He had NUMEROUS driving tickets and moving violations. With that in mind, he deserves jail time for repeatedly breaking the traffic laws.

And as for the infamous prison calls:

1: Those were personal calls made in confidence. They NEVER should have been leaked to the public.

2: Some harsh things were said, but people say harsh things when they are in turmoil. Nick's just a dumb kid and was lashing out at the stuation. Hulk was just supporting him when his son needed him most.

Even though I'm sure Nick feels horrible about what happened, I'm sure he also feels bitter about it because he's being punished over an accident that was not TOTALLY his fault.

Again, I'm willing to bet Graziano was laughing it up and having a great time during the race...Up until the crash, that is.

3: The reality show thing. Yeah, seems pretty tasteless, but again, he's just a dumb kid and in his mind it will help him get his life back on track.

I honestly don't think Nick's idea was to profit from the accident. It was simply to show that he's coming out of a horrible situation and moving on with his life.

I mean, what do people expect from the kid? Is he supposed to sit at Graziano's bedside for the rest of his life and grieve? Again, I'm sure he feels intense guilt over what happened, but people move on and live their lives...

well, now that they know who it was, let's all hope that the legal system will deal with it appropriately...especially since it seems to be ignoring that john graziano was drunk while underage and riding in a car without a seat belt.

When did 22 become underage mortis? You and L'Mago should take your homo love for Hogan and get married in matching red and yellow tuxs while "I am a Real American" plays and you ride off into the sunset riding bitch.

Wow some of the comments ive read makes me wonder about some of us. when did we go from wrestling fans to lawyers? Because anyone with a law degree would tell you that all parties are in the wrong. but in no way should we think that someone should be leaving weird messenges on their voicemail. although Hulk shouldnt be talking about this cause he looks stupid, and very out of touch with whats going on and if hes lawyer gave a dam he would tell hogan that. Am I a Hogan fan. yes. but i also know the difference between right and wrong. its sad to see anyone go through this but i have no pity for anyone except john cause he doesnt deserve that. so everyone can we stop acting like life is a dam work. its pretty real and we should try to stick to wrestling. not picking on anyone. just wanted to give you my take on this. thanks

"On the other hand it's not like he ment to do what he did."

I'm sorry what? He didn't mean to be an underage drinker who got behind the wheel of the car and proceeded to drive with no regard for the speed limit? What's the matter with you? You think the only thing he did wrong was get in a wreck? It's the reason he's in jail now - he knew he couldn't beat the rap and took his chances on judicial mercy. Be thankful he didn't kill an innocent bystander.

I get sick of reading these stories, if only because it disturbs me how many people are all over Nick Hogan's ballsack about this thing. It's pretty frightening. If their loved one were the one in a vegatative state, they wouldn't be rationally stating "Well, it's his fault for drinking and not wearing a seatbelt."

Posted By: Amazo The Wizard (Guest)  on June 17, 2008 at 06:02 AM

"Even if Graziano wasn't wearing a seatbelt, Nick should not have been driving in such a way that they would even need the protection of aseatbelt."

WTF? Are you serious? You don't need to be going that fast to need a seatbelt to save your life. A friend of mine died because he wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was only going about 40MPH. He wasn't driving erratically either, just got hit head on and thrown from the car.

Frank should get an award. For everything he said. Obviously Hogan not the man he pretends to be. His ex has robbed the cradle. His daughter looks like a tramp. And his son should watch bending over in the shower. If Vince is smart he will cut any ties he has with this bunch of trash.

A friend of mine, that I had known all of my life was killed in an accident. The driver was this retarded pot head and he got nothing for MURDERING my friend.
Nick shouldn't be punished at ALL for this. I think the judge was just sick of all of the rich brats getting away with all kinds of shit because of who they are, or who their parents are.

Posted By: DHX (Guest)  on June 17, 2008 at 03:53 PM

OK, first off why is this answering machine message being played on Bubbas show? Hogan should have just sent it to the police if he felt he was in danger yet he needs to rush it over to his little friend so everybody can hear it. It seems like Hogan is trying to gain sympathy for him and his family and even make the Graziano family look bad.
Now I don’t condone sending harassing messages but I can definitely understand why this guy did it. His brother is in a vegetative state and all he hears on the news is Nick and Hogan whining about prison and getting some reality show set up. If I was Frank I might have left a similar message, who knows what any of us would do in that terrible situation.
The only thing I wish is that everybody had Johns best interests in mind and everybody worked toward making his life maybe even slightly better. And you all can throw blame around about how John got into the car, was drunk, wasn’t wearing a seat belt, etc.. but he doesn’t deserve what happened to him.
