JBL retired? Hopefully they just have old info and didn't hear about his comeback this winter.
I am one of the very few JBL fans, so bring on the hatemail!

jbl trying to compete against red bull = epic fail!

JBL is strange he tries his hand at everything and whats strange about that its that he is not a BIG star like HHH, Rock and such... funny

It doesn't seem to make any mention of JBL coming back to wrestling at the end of last year. The article says he wrestled up to 2006. so my guess is that it's just embarassingly ill-researched.
The hell you say.

Wow, 2.1?!? No one seems to panic about SD anymore, I hope they it to sleep after it's doomed run on MyNetwork TV.

Looks like a matter of getting their facts wrong.

I am so happy Pat Brink got a WWE dev deal. I regularly attend Maryland Championship Wrestling and he was one of the better guys there. He is a good big man power wrestler.
He used to be a real dork too:P

EPIC FAIL

long live JBL and i think smackdown is getting a beatdown. having the brand extention helps give wrestlers jobs but they need to open wwe back up with no brand extentions or smackdown will die. scoring a 2 is great but it keeps falling and when they move the show it could mean doom.

More of you people get "my network tv" than realize it... remember before CW when there were WB & UPN? Whichever channel DIDN'T become CW is PROBABLY "My Network TV" now... you just haven't heard of it because you haven't checked.

Actually 2.1 on a friday night ain't bad.
Better than 3.1 on a monday night.

He should of stayed retired instead of wasting our time with that stupid angle with Vince, Finlay and Hornswoggle.

I'm pretty sure the blurb on him is just out of date.

SD was the highest rated show on CW last year and was the only show on the entire network to improve its ratings over the previous year.
CW will be screwed without SD this fall.

I have to agree.. the article only mentions him wrestling up to 2006.. so it doesn't take into account his most recent run... non-news...

I always laugh when someone says Rey rey was the worst Smackdown world champion no he actually had a career worthy of one world title run. JBL was the worst and it wasn't even close.

Sure JBL kinda sucks at wrestling but i think he is a great character.
He should become a GM or some new guys manager.

I can blame him somewhat for Jerichos failed comeback as well as that stupid feud killed the momentum of Jerichos comeback.

Patrick Brink = 6'6" 270. There are a few amateur videos of him on youtube. Doesn't look too impressive.

You know how freakin' annoying the idiots that do the WHAT chant at shows are. You know how ridiculous those retards present themselves and how you just wish they shoud shut the fuck up alredy? You EPIC FAIL morons are giving those bastards a run for the money. So, would you please give the fucking slogan a rest and just SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY! Find something new, you unoriginal bastards...

Yeah, WWE moving to a network that appears in MORE markets than CW sure is a death knell alrighty.

I gotta admit, I am a fan of the APIC FAIL phrase, and considering it was invented here, I'd be hard pressed for anyone to call it UNORIGINAL. I think at times it's overdone but when used properly, it's dead on, because that pretty much represents the world of wrestling as we know it now. Vince refuses to change and give up compelling characters, ratings are tanking, everyone looks the same, there's too many PPVs.....so yes, WWE = EPIC FAIL

Some wrestlers do not know when to quit.
Posted By: Captain_Snackpipe (Guest) on June 23, 2008 at 05:20 PM
I love EPIC FAIL because its seen as a laugh by sensible people and annoys smarty marks who get too caught up in stuff which basically doesn't really matter. However, seeing comments from people on the verge of murder because someone typed EPIC FAIL does make me smile, so cheers!
Posted By: The Commish ! (Guest) on June 23, 2008 at 05:44 PM
yes, the phrase "epic fail" was invented in the 411mania comment section; other things invented here: indoor plumbing, the interstate highway system, and the internet.
Posted By: patent office (Guest) on June 23, 2008 at 06:15 PM
can we finally say the worst wrestler ever is gone?
Posted By: Big Boy (Guest) on June 23, 2008 at 06:56 PM
There is no time where epic fail can be used properly. Keep telling yourself that, but when in reality you should be telling yourself how much of an epic nerd you are. It was original the first time it was said and photoshopped, any time after that was unoriginal , espescially the 8432432th time. Loser
