Even more news on a very busy day...
- For the week of 6/29, the three hours of RAW finished #1, #4, and #7 in the list of the top rated cable TV shows for the week.
- John Cena is set to be part of a new marketing campaign for Gillette.
- WWE.com has put up photos of Melina's fractured heel. Check them out here.
- WWE.com has posted the latest OMG Moment in ECW History. This week, the moment features the Eliminators vs. The Gangstas in a Steel Cage match from the original ECW. Check out the clip here.
- IGN.com has confirmed the following wrestlers for the Smackdown vs. RAW 2009 video game which is due out in November.

relax they have only announced 12 people so far there will be many more then 12 characters in the game. Ign is not developer of the game there is still months before the game comes out.

Are you guys non-gamers or just idiots? The new SDvsRaw game isn't going to be released until october at the earliest. The wrestlers listed are just the ones that have been confirmed already. They will announce more at E3 in two weeks, and then keep a steady flow of information leading up to the release. So yes, CM Punk will be in the new game as well as many others that have yet to be announced. Who the hell would buy a wwe game with only 13 wrestlers in it. I mean come on, the gameboy advanced wrestling games had more wrestlers than that.

If you really want to get excited about the next SD game, just think about the possibilities the new create a finisher will bring.
And if you're truly interested in wrestling and/or fighting games you should also look into the very promising UFC 2009 Undisputed which seems to be coming along very nicely.

The game was most likely done before the draft,Miz and Morrison are smackdown tag team champs so thats why 2 ECW guys are on the game.

The list that IGN has is just the guys who have been confirmed so far. They do this every year with SD vs. Raw; give out a few of the wrestlers early on, then confirm the whole roster closer to the release.

Option A) last week was the three hour edition of raw - they counted each hour as a separate listing
Option B) Raw, Smackdown and eCw each were listed..
(though with smackdown being a network show, option A seems more likely)

most notably her upper fibula /tibula.
(main or supporting shin bone)

I miss create a ppv, I bought smackdown 2 for original playstation and its like Kurt Rock Taker HHH but no Stone Cold when he got hurt with the neck the 2nd time. CREATE A PPV. Bring it back!

Actually the first hour ranked #1 on cable, the second hour of Raw ranked #4 and the third hour of Raw ranked #7...
Translation declining viewership. People tuned in for the first hour for curiosity, then started to decline as the show went on. These rankings speak volumes.
Youd also have to look at what was on TV for the 2nd and 3rd hours of Raw to see what they were competing against.
