Joe Bravo jumps from WWC to IWA (again), Cruzz & Diabolico return, a new title is introduced, new Hardcore Champion and more!
IWA Puerto Rico Results for June 28th, 2008 from Yabucoa, PR
- Death Warrant defeats Gran Gaby (jobber) by pinfall.
-IWA Hardcore Title: 3 Way Dance
"The Man-Beast" Angel defeats Rick Stanlee & El Escorpion by pinning Escorpion to win the title. Stanlee is pissed off because he lost the belt without being pinned.
- The new promoter Edwin Vazquez Ortega comes out and introduces the new IWA Puerto Rican Title. Before he can talk more about the subject, Savio Vega comes out with his group and they argue back and forth. Savio argues with Chicano and Dennis Rivera (formely Rodriguez) about why they disobeyed his order and wrestled for the Jose Miguel Perez Cup last week and Chicano replies that the match was foced by Ortega. Savio rants against Ortega, then he gets a phone call and proceeds to tell everyone that he has a surprise. His men have just arrived from Bayamon where WWC had a show and they have captured one of their top stars. They dragged a hooded man to the ring, but before they can attack him, Ortega goes to the locker room and brings some of the babyfaces to make the save. Savio and his group bail and leave the hooded man in the ring. Ortega says that he wont allow any more attacks on other wrestlers. When he proceeds to uncover the captured wrestler, it turns out to be "The Golden Latino" Joe Bravo and he is holding Savio's bat! He tries to attack Ortega, Ortega bails. Savio laughs at his surprise and welcomes Bravo to his group.
-IWA Women's Title:
"High Voltage Girl" Genesis defeats Sweet Nancy by DQ when Black Rose & La Potra run out and attack Genesis. They try to break her leg, but La Morena makes her return to IWA and runs in for the save, with some assistance from Barbie Boy, the gay dude who wrestles with the ladies (gay as in his character, no idea if he is gay for real). Seems that Barbie Boy is now a face and seems that he will continue wrestling in the "Women's" Division.
- Hardam Kardif & Zaet Arafat defeat Randy "Onix" Vargas & Vengador Boricua by pinfall after Arafat nails Onix with the Arabian Flag Pole.
- "The Illegal" Chicano & "The Infernal Beast" Damien defeat "Los Rabiosos" Mr. Big & Blitz by pinfall. Damien and Big where brawling outside, in the ring Blitz takes control of the match, but Joe Bravo runs in and whacks Blitz with the baseball bat. He orders Chicano to cover him, but Chicano refuses, pissed off at the situation. Outside, Damien sends Big into the ring post and then scurries in to cover Blitz and get the pinfall win. The heels celebrate, except Chicano, who looks pissed off and walks away.
-IWA Cruiserweight Title:
El Niche vs Empio finishes in a 15-minute Time Limit Draw.
-Handicap Match:
Noel Rodriguez & Dennis Rivera defeat El Bacano by pinfall. After the match they continue to attack Bacano, but Cruzz & Diabolico run in from the crowd to make the save. La Cruz del Diablo are back in IWA and they make it clear that they want their Tag Team Titles back.
