Even more Thursday news...
- John Cena will be hosting a special on MTV Tr3s this Saturday at 9:30PM ET titled "The John Cena Five Knuckle Shuffle."
- Paul Heyman has a new article up talking about how Edge is WWE's top performer from a booking standpoint. Check out the article here.
- Marvel.com has an interview up with Mark Henry where he talks about Marvel's Secret Invasion storyline, how WWE stars would do against Marvel heroes, and more. Check out the interview here.
- The poster for the 8/10 TNA Hard Justice PPV features Samoa Joe and LAX. It also mentions performances from hip-hop articles including Ice-T.

Before ordering, we were warned that Ice T would be there.
If he's got to perform a song, I hope he does Body Count's cop killer.

Edge deserves EVERY bit of "critical" acclaim he is currently getting. Assuming the Matt/Lita thing was legit, he's more than made up for his actions with the SUPERB heel run he has STILL!
I remember watching WM 6 and seeing young Adam Copeland on camera and remembering how jealous I was of him being there. Once they announced that kid became Edge it was sort of a full circle thing. Adam is also the young me, where physical limitations negated a career....HIS rise made me feel the pride of making it just a bit. Same thing that keeps me from TRULY hating Cena. They TRULY were once fans "just like us".

edge is a total asshole and i mean that in a good way. he isnt the cocky heel. he isnt the spineless heel who cant fight for himself. he is just a complete asshole. that is what sets him apart from the rest.
as for vickie, i am all for her role in smackdown. we all know that edge is using her. so it adds to the story.

heymen is right. edge rules. think about it. he was the only heel that got the fans to cheer cena. jericho, hhh, and angle all divided the audience. cena would recieve more boos than cheers.
then edge changed all that.

Edge and Vickie have (had?) the best dynamic going, it really riled the audience up to see them noisily making out in the ring.
Edge is the mvp of the WWE - even HHH couldn't stop getting cheered when he was a heel, Edge is the master of that art.

Heh, the way the article title is phrased made me think that Heyman was acting nervous.
Edge is so great because he has so many ways of making you hate him. Obviously he can play to the crowd by saying the obvious heat-drawing things, like his tirade against JR on this week's Raw. Obviously he cheats a lot and has the deck stacked in his favor. But at times, he's this heel who can convince you he's a face. A friend of mine who hasn't followed WWE for years was over a few months ago, when Edge first came back and Taker had just tombstoned Vickie for the first time. Edge gave a promo saying he'd be Vickie's champion, her knight in shining armor, etc., and my friend actually thought that Edge was the face in the feud. I mean, it makes sense. You take out the context of him and Vickie scheming, and of him being too cowardly to save Vickie from Taker's tombstone, and you had Edge delivering an excellent face promo on Taker.
Love that guy. Excellent performer, excellent talker.

There is no question edge is in a league of his own and deserve to be recognised. He truly entertains when is on Tv and can deliver in the ring. And most importantly, his a fan of the business and respects it.
