More Sunday news...
- The Summerslam 2008 poster features Maria riding a jet ski with an explosion in the background.
- Get Smart earned another $11.1 million at the box office over the weekend. The film has now grossed $98.1 million, meaning it should top the $100 million mark this week. The film features Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in a starring role and also features the Great Khali. 411's full weekend box office report can be found here.
- Here's a video of former WWE star Joanie "Chyna" Laurer at a recent autograph signing. She mentions her wrestling comeback in Japan and seems to be getting back into shape and sober.
- ROH's debut in Toronto, Canada on 7/25 has already sold over 1000 tickets.
- ROH will tape their October PPV on 7/26. The reason ROH tapes their PPVs so early is because InDemand requires that they get the PPV 30 days before it airs, and ROH needs time to edit the show before sending it ot them.
That host on the Chyna clip sucked. Spit out the gum, junior.
Chyna looked sober, that is probably the first time should didn't appear messed up on camera in a long time. Good for her.

Good job ROH on the ticket sales
on a side not I hope summerslam is good this year its one of my favorite PPVs but the last 2 years were blah especially last year's

Chyna needs to go to TNA and feud with Awesome Kong or Rhaka Khan. Or perhaps a stable using VKM as her muscle (with her treating them like bitches at every turn).
Actually, a Chyna/X-Pac feud would be money. ("Sean, honey -- your rehabilitation has only begun!")
Hope Chyna's conquering her demons and does make a pro-wrestling comeback. At least she dropped the stupid 'Doll' part of her handle.
After getting her ass beat by Joey Buttafuoco, letting X-Pac suck her roided-out clitoris on film and going all 'Girl Interrupted' on VH1 and TMZ, poor Joanie deserves some genuine success and validation for getting her act together.

Chyna will never be back in the WWE. Maybe some folks forgot the kind words she had for S. McMahon after she and HHH split.
Which gets me thinking. If HHH can bash Chyna then still pull Steph, maybe I should worry less of my reputation and start going to town on some of the lesser Divas I usually pass up...

Chyna touring with Inoki? I imagine he wouldn't put up with her if she was anything but sober. So good for her. She is looking healthier then I've ever seen her. I doubt she'd be back in the WWE, but you never know, Chyna Vs Kong for the TNA womens title?

Chyna would never wrestle for WWE OR TNA. WWE cuz of Hunter cheating on her and TNA cuz she no showed a PPV a few yrs back. She's either going to ROH, AAA, WWC, or NWE.

We didn't buy the PPVs because we were unaware that they were even running the PPVs in Canada.
Horrible, HORRIBLE advertising.
I mean, because I order wrestling PPVs, I get flyers all the time from my cable company telling me about upcoming PPVs for UFC or WWE but ROH never bothered to do that type of advertising so I had absolutely no clue that we even got them.
I'm going to the show in TO and I hope by it's success they might decide to reconsider not airing the PPVs in Canada and do a much better job advertising them.

Chyna is the biggest female star in wrestling history. No woman will EVER do some of the things she has done. Do you think Beth Phoenix will be in the Royal Rumble or win the IC belt? Fuck no.
Chyna is looking better than I've seen her look in YEARS (looks like she's working on those guns again, yay!) and she's not rambling incoherently. If there is money to be made you can bet that Vince would be willing to bury the hatchet as long as she keeps her ego in check.
I think she still has one good run left in her and Vince has brought back people who burned their bridges WAY worse than she ever did. There are still a lot of people who would mark-out for a Chyna comeback. If Chyna showed up on Raw one night looking like she did back in '99 and got in Beth's face the fans would go nuts.
Hell, Edge could bring her back in his feud against Triple H.
