Idiot internet marks.

People were leaving and thoe of us who stayed were chanting Fire Russo
We also started right before Sting came out then stopped then again a little later (which was really small). Then Sting hit Joe with the bat and were about to cheer "Thank you Sting" but sharmell pinned and we all were like "WTF?" so by time the "Fire Russo" chants started half the people already left the arena. That ending was bs but I still had fun (btw it was awesomw seeing Sting in person for the 1st time I marked out huge)

"FIRE RUSSO! (CLAP CLAP, CLAP CLAP CLAP)"
"FIRE RUSSO! (CLAP CLAP, FIRE RUSSO!... damn I screwed it up already.

YEAH!!!! What he said.....
Posted By: Guest#3880 (Guest) on July 14, 2008 at 03:11 AM
I don't know, if you watched when Sting and Abyss wrestled in that Last Rites match, there was an audible "Fire Russo" chant ringing out.
There needs to be more than that. We needs rallies in the Impact Zone and people walking out of the show with Fire Russo t-shirts on.

This would have been a MUCH better match if Booker was NOWHERE near it. AJ vs Joe, Christian vs Joe, KONG vs Joe.
Hear Hear Davis....
FIRE RUSSO!!! (CLAP,CLAP,CLAP,CLAP,CLAP)
Posted By: CM Wolf (Guest) on July 14, 2008 at 03:14 AM
What will it take to get rid of Russo!?!?!?
TNA is certainly capable of having awesome matches without his crappy storylines. Like we saw in the X-Division & Gauntlet matches tonight. But anytime they want to have a "well thought out" story line driving these matches, they just come of as lame & ridiculous!
Posted By: SilentOx (Guest) on July 14, 2008 at 03:17 AM
maybe we only had a small fire russo chant because the ppv was really good
2 matches that were atleast 4 stars
the opening x division match and full metal mayhem
one match that was pretty good and had one of the most insane spots ever on televised wrestling and everything else was atleast decent
Posted By: random (Guest) on July 14, 2008 at 03:28 AM
Wow Willie Nelson's daughter. She must be, what, 200 years old?
Joe vs. Booker T, man TNA is just rolling out the classic main events! Now bring in Nash for the next PPV main event so he can hobble around and deliver a 1 star match! Joe will be worthless in no time! TEE ENN AYYY YEEAAAHHH!
Posted By: Guest-0 (Guest) on July 14, 2008 at 03:44 AM
Hahhha at Davis, you seem to stay up late during the summer. Oh thats right you admitted to being a 16 year old kid whos watched wrestling for a year and didn't know Hulk Hogan talked about 24 inch pythons.
Take it from this 35 year old (30 year fan)when I say thats an EPIC PWN.

Ummm it has to go through Jeff first =\

Fire Russo. Dumb marks. Just shut Amoeba down.

@Davis (Guest)
you sir are an idiot
NO CONTEST means no rules ! You know dam skippy Booker T isn't the champ !
and calling Booker T a reject is so far from the truth is stinks ! IF you wanna roll that route than you have to say most of TNA's roster is WWF/E,ECW/WCW rejects ! some times over !
Just give it up ! Joe is a fucking slob !! Ratings and ppv buy-rates have been at their lowest since he has been given the mic and the strap !
Sloppy JOe sucks sloppy 2nds of cock !
Russo has so much dam popular/heat he might as well go on TV as a on air character ..really though you idiots hate him so bad ...half of you were pulling you pud when WCW was at it's peak ! And most only read about and never really experienced what took place !
Russo doesn't have full power of script in TNA idiots yes i said "IDIOTS!" Jarret among others have the full range of what goes on as well!!
Posted By: Davis is an idiot ! (Guest) on July 14, 2008 at 05:09 AM
Maybe, just maybe, only a small section actually hated it?
Or maybe, just maybe, the majority know that some smarky chant will not dictate company policy?

When did a chant become news ?
Posted By: DomDom (Guest) on July 14, 2008 at 05:27 AM
You WWE Marks..
Batista beat the crap out of Edge and Your Darling CM Punk beat the wounded Edge.. You all called that the best moment of the year. Now TNA does it in better ways, you all ripping them off
Moronic WWE Fans

Yo Davis is an Idiot (By the way, you really think I'm bothered by the opinions of somebody who's up at five to check wrestling news?)
I got no problem with the ECW and WCW guys who reappeared in TNA because their companies were bought out by McMahon.
I got no problem with Christian Cage because he's awesome and still in his prime. I've got no problem with Rhyno, Tomko or Scott Steiner because they don't hog the spotlight. I've only got Limited problems with Angle because he's funny and awesome. And I've got No Problem with Team 3D because I'm happy to see real tag team wrestling anymore.
But Booker T brings nothing but name recogntion, he's slow and sloppy nowadays. His Promos are boring, his gimmick (or lack there of) is boring, He's boring. Frankly I only think he got over because of his music!
Posted By: Davis (Guest) on July 14, 2008 at 07:11 AM
Willie's daughter is hot, she was just on Howard Stern.
FIRE RUSSO!!! How does this fucknut still have a job? He thought of Goldust, big deal.
Posted By: FUZEY (Guest) on July 14, 2008 at 09:05 AM
it was a great ppv til the ending of the main event happened. this was my first live tna event and i gotta say if it wasnt for the world cup stuff and the nice 6 man tag i would have really disappointed. I came to watch samoa joe kill somebody and was probably one of like 12 people who cheered for him.

man, devon took a horrible fall on that ankle
Posted By: cj (Guest) on July 14, 2008 at 09:34 AM
Question: IF I take a Fire Russo sign to Hard Justice will it be taken???
I will be there in Row 2 by the ramp and I plan to have a sign ready to go if anything is too craptacularly russo-rirfic.
Otherwise, I can always just keep a sharpie handy and write it on the back of another sign while I'm sitting there.

How did I miss this:
"But Booker T brings nothing but name recogntion, he's slow and sloppy nowadays. His Promos are boring, his gimmick (or lack there of) is boring, He's boring. Frankly I only think he got over because of his music!"
Booker T runs (arguably) the best wrestling school in the country. IF TNA wants more "home-grown" talent, Booker T is the smartest addition to their roster they've ever made. He left the WWE partly because the WWE had OVW at the time and was acquiring FCW for their developmental talent pool. The E had no use for a third school.
Now, TNA has him, and by default, access to the wrestlers that come out of his school.
Regardless of whether he is past his prime, or not, he has a lot of experience to go on when it comes to teaching the young guys who will be the future of the business.

An intelligent, respectful response to an oversight. WOW. I didn't think of that.
Posted By: Davis (Guest) on July 14, 2008 at 10:56 AM
This thread is too funny. First Davis puts down Booker T, who is one of the best veteran in ring performers in the business. Then, Davis is an idiot puts down Samoa Joe, who's one of the best young in ring performers in the business. Here's the news: you're both idiots! And that's the truth, because truthie says so.

My God...I agree with Truthslayer. You guys should play the lottery today, or ask out that really hot girl who turns her nose up to internet wrestling nerds, because today is the day the IMPOSSIBLE CAN HAPPEN!
Did you go to the show, Truth?
Posted By: bozemanriverrat (Guest) on July 14, 2008 at 12:30 PM
Alright kiddies this is wrestling not nuclear science - if you can do better start your own company. The ending was lack-luster tyo say the least. To freak out & act it the end of the world because you have issues is ridiculous. Get some counseling, viagra, and a set - and maybe you can overcome your obvious inferiority complexes.

"calling Booker T a reject is so far from the truth is stinks ! IF you wanna roll that route than you have to say most of TNA's roster is WWF/E,ECW/WCW rejects !"
Most of TNA's main event talent, upper mid card talent and mid card talent are wwf/e, ecw/wcw rejects.

bozemanriverrat, please, do not confuse me with Truthslayer, that semi-illiterate ignoramous who uses a variation on my posting handle. You can always tell my posts from his, mine are the ones with correct spelling and grammar, and intelligent (if sometimes flaming) observations. Oh, and mine usually end with a (hopefully) humorous use or paraphrase of various wrestlers' catchphrases. If you didn't know, now you know! ;-)

The funniest thing was I started the chant...at the encouragement of, lets say, some staff that was walking by shaking their heads at the horrible finish
Posted By: Ser Drake (Guest) on July 14, 2008 at 02:10 PM
And I wouldn't call it a small chant...it was pretty damn loud.
Cool 'mark out' moment from the show...(or 2)
Getting a photo with ODB...she's smaller than she looks and pretty attractive honestly.
Getting James Storm to turn around and give me a thumbs up as he left after the tag title match. I yelled out he catch phrase...it was pretty cool.
Yelling at the crew while they were assembling the ultimate X stuff. One of the funniest was telling the crew not to jump...hilarity

Thanks, I always try to tell it like I see it - and bread the Stereotype JR laid out of us in the IWC -
Now, does anyone know will Fire Russo signs get confiscated at a TV taping / PPV event????
Posted By: The Phenomonal RJ Styles (Guest) on July 14, 2008 at 02:24 PM
i was there, and willie nelson's daughter can't sing a lick! she had some 'you suck' chants going..
Posted By: big ray (Guest) on July 14, 2008 at 03:50 PM
I saw a few signs like that and none were taken
Posted By: Ser Drake (Guest) on July 14, 2008 at 04:05 PM
"After the PPV ended, a small "Fire Russo" chant started in the arena."
The others should have been chanting and hire Heyman
