Two men gone from WWC, rumors of Steve Corino coming to work in Puerto Rico and details on next week's big events!
- WWC continues to have problems with personnel. First, the company announced that they had released "The Loose Cannon" Bryan. Bryan had been suspended for the third time due to conduct issues and this was the final straw. Apparently he was unhappy with his push. Then, the very next day from this announcement, Chris Joel sent a message to prwrestling.com in which he stated that he had resigned from WWC and was on his way back to IWA. Joel had jumped to IWA four weeks ago as a victim of the terror lottery, but he returned to WWC after a change of heart. However, he decided to leave once more and this time he made it clear that he was going to IWA and stay there. Rumors from people inside WWC state that he was unhappy with his push, how he was handled in the Universal Title League and the fact that he was scheduled to face (and possibly loose to) Eugene Dinsmore at the Anniversary Show. Joel was the Television Champion.
- WWC did not held any shows this weekend because they are preparing for next Saturday's Anniversary Show. Their television broadcasts centered on the careers of Rey Gonzales and Carlito as they hype their match for next week.
- "The King of Old School" Steve Corino has been in conversations with WWC management to join the company as a wrestler and member of the booking team. He is expected to join after the Anniversary Show, because if the rumors are true, WWC is set for a big make-over. Many wrestlers are expected to leave after the show, among those rumored include Thunder & Lightning.
