Friday WWE news update!
- Ric Flair, John Cena, Kelly Kelly, and Chris Jericho all appeared at the FCW TV taping last night. Cena worked a segment where he gave Shawn Spears an FU. Commentators were Dusty Rhodes and Todd Grisham.
- Weekend schedule:
RAW:
* Saturday - Springfield, Massachusetts
* Sunday - Uniondale, New York [Great American Bash PPV]
* Monday - Mohegan Sun Arena, Connecticut [RAW Taping]
SD/ECW:
* Saturday - Springfield, Massachusetts
* Sunday - Uniondale, New York [Great American Bash PPV]
* Tuesday - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania [SD/ECW Taping]
TNA:
* Friday - Tyler, Texas
* Saturday - Monroe, Louisiana
* Sunday - North Little Rock, Arkansas
- Dakota Darsow, son of Barry Darsow (Demolition Smash) is down in FCW this week participating in a one week WWE tryout.
- Edge will be at tonight's Cruefest show in Noblesville, Indiana giving away tickets to Summerslam.
Anyone have any information how we can see the tapings? I live in South Miami and wrestling usually doesn't go down here. I would love to watch it.
Anyone know?

So if FCW is developmental can the send Adamle there to hone his skills and have Dusty (I know he is the booker in FCW) come do commentary on Raw while Cole goes to ECW?
I would like to hear a few "those are hard times" promos from Dusty regarding current ongoings.

Considering how many wrestler's kids are getting into the business now, it might not be such a great idea to do a "superstable" with all the kids.
The Hart Foundation 2.0 COULD be a good gimmick if done peoperly. But again with all the kids coming in now, it would be easy to get out of hand quick.

Barry Darsow was a great performer in his day and, from shoot interviews and such, was well respected too. Great to hear that his son may continue the tradition! Demolition 2.0!!!!

REPO MAN was one of my favorite wrestlers as a kid. I dressed up as Repo for Halloween '92! And who can forget golfing Barry Darsow or THE BLACKTOP BULLY????????

Is getting to work a segment with WWE's public face of the last 3 years a good thing. I've heard a lot about Shawn Spears being a great talent, just wondering if the Cena thing was a test that might lead to coming to the main roster.

And of Darsow's MANY gimmicks, how about the Blacktop Bully?
I still remember one of the greatest lines of Bobby "the Brain" Heenan was he was running down Dustin Rhodes, and Schivone said, 'How do you know this?" and Brain was like, "Bully told me." and Schivone was stunned, "the Bully told you?" and the Weasel swore it was all true.

Sully, if it is true that ignorance is bliss then you must be truly happy. This is the opening night featuring names that will without a doubt be the future of the industry. I could not make to to Tampa, but considering I live 20 minutes ffrom TNA tapings, I was actually trying to see if there was a way I could make the FCW show. I turned on TNA long enough to see "Beer Money" supposedly assaulting fans (right) and some mess of a divas battle royal that looke like bad backyard wrestling.
i'll take the future stars over that sad shit any day of the week. TNA BLOWS and is on life support.

Dakota Fanning, er, Darsow has one of the gayest sounding names I've ever heard. Does anybody know what the guy looks like? I imagine the WWE will change his name, otherwise he'd bomb like a Jake Chambers column.
