Monday news update...
- In a new blog on the Sun UK website, Paul Heyman talks about last week's California earthquake and the "earthquake" WWE created with the draft. Check out that article here.

- SLAM! has an interview up with Brent Albright, talking mostly about Albright winning the NWA Title at the ROH show on Saturday. Check out the article here.
- Many media outlets in India & Pakistan are reporting that the Great Khali has accepted a challenge for a fight from Pakistani wrestler Bashir Bhola. Here is one such report.
Then the Outer Mongolia Championship Wrestling World Champion Mandeep Sahota came out and said he's fight the winner @ DhillonSlam.

I'm from India, and when Khali was here it was all over the news...it kinda sucked coz ppl thought I actually watched wrestling for this fella every monday night(sigh...). However, I never read about this anywhere, and a lotta wuts said is bullshit...(like him saying its all real...and the papers debating...hilarious)

Cyber, ya have to realize something.
most North Americans are shocked that India can construct functioning flash lights, never mind nukes.
is that the fault of our education system ?
is that the fault of the news ?
or is that just the fault of every foster child Commercial we've ever watched giving us the idea that everywhere but -here- is bad, poor and stupid ?
i don't know for sure.
what i do know for sure is 40 years,
30 years and even 15 years ago there was still a debate, there was still a question in the air of "is this real ?"
"are these boobs in spandex really trying to beat each other until one can keep the others shoulders down for 3 seconds?"
so in the general North American's mind..
watching India grow in to a power..
Grow as a people, a place and having the culture expand towards us...
we like to assume that you are every bit as stupid as we were a few years back..
try not to take it personally.
after all, were still trying to figure out how the dam flash light works.

Is the Pakistani guy who's challenging Khali a champ for worked fights (pro Wrestling) or for shoot wrestling?
If it's a shoot, Unless the dude is Near Khali's size, my money goes to the Great Khali. Khali might be slow, but there's no way anyone smaller then Batista could pin him in a shoot fight.
