Lots more Wednesday news...
- Amazing Red may work a return match at the 8/31 Pro Wrestling Syndicate show in Hempstead, Long Island.
- TMZ has a short video up featuring Hulk Hogan taking a shot at WWE creative. Check out the video here.
- John Cena has been nominated for "Best Sports Person" for the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards while Randy Orton has been nominated for "Best Bad Guy."
- Jesse Ventura appeared on the Joe McDonnell radio show this morning. Check it out here.
- WWE is nominated for several awards as part of the first ever CableFax Program Awards. WWE nominations include Vince McMahon for 2008 Hall of Fame Inductee, Shawn Michaels for Best Actor/Host in the "Other" genre, Stephanie McMahon Levesque for Best Writer, WWE RAW for Best Show in the "Other" genre, Vince McMahon's limo explosion for Best Ending, and WWE for Best Use of HD Technology.
I'm tired of being teased by Amazing Red's comeback...i don't wanna hear any news until after he returns in the ring.

Cena is wake more likey to win his award then Orton is. There havent been as many popular sports stars doing great things this year as there have been well acted villians.
And good to see somebody recognize WWE as good television, but I seriously doubt that the limo explosion is going to be a "Best Ending" nobody really got into it.

finally a respected and prestigous organization like the cablefax program awards finally celebrates the beauty that is wwe... my only concern is that triple hhh was not nominated for nuthing... seriusly... cablefax program awards... get your act together regarding triple hhh... now... we all here everyone wants to see it... do it...

About the Amazing Red piece......that is not true. It is widely known that PWS has been falsely advertising Amazing Red for a while. Even Red's manager came out recently to debunk any and all shows that Red is advertised to appear on. he is making his comeback eventually, but NOTHING is set in stone. PWS is a SHIT indy and have a HORRIBLE reputation in New York. And that upcoming show is probably an illegal show (non-licensed or an illegaly rented license from another New York fed, FTW. In New York, unlike Pennsylvania, you can't rent out licenses to run anything.)

Last I heard Hogan never actually signed that deal. I heard in some Interviews that Hogan and Vince have some legit heat, theyre professional and polite, and don't mind each other on a personal level. but when it comes to buisness, Vince has had it with Hogan's pricetag and unwillingness to job. While Hogan beleives having to job will hurt his legacy, and he considers that between his drawing power and the physical toll wrestling takes on him anymore, Not only is he worth the money, he deserves the money for putting his body through that. I saw on a DVD once that at wrestlemania 19 a physican needed to prep his back and put some system of painkillers or acupucture in him so he could take bumps.
