WWE Smackdown Taping Results (SPOILERS)

-Takeshi Morishima w/Tony Atlas defeated Jamie Noble

Smackdown 8.22.08
– Vickie comes out and apologizes to everyone for her relationship with Edge. A WWE Title Scramble, similar to Raw is announced for Unforgiven with qualifying matches set for tonight.

– Maria defeated Natalya via disqualification when Maryse came out and got involved.

– A 10-Man Battle Royal to earn a spot in the WWE Title Scramble Match at Unforgiven saw THE Brian Kendrick win. Big Show had tosses Kendrick, Zeke caught him and placed him back in the ring. Show didn’t see this, and eliminated himself after stepping over the top rope. Others in the match were Super Crazy, Curt Hawkins, Zack Ryder, Jimmy Wang Yang, and Vladimir Kozlov.

– An R-Truth promo was shown.

– In a WWE Title Scramble Qualifier, MVP defeated Festus via count out

– In a WWE Title Scramble Qualifier, Shelton Benjamin defeated Finlay via pin

– In a WWE Title Scramble Qualifier, Jeff Hardy defeated The Great Khali via pin after HHH, who was doing commentary, hit Khali with a chair.

– Triple H comes to the ring and delivers a promo about the WWE Title Scramble Match and his opponents thus far. Kenny Dykstra comes out but is quickly pedigreed.

– Vickie and La Familia came out to the ring and called out the Undertaker. He appeared and Vickie begged for forgiveness. Taker said he was coming for their souls, and La Familia attacked him. Taker then laid out La Familia, and made the throat slash motion to Vickie and posed in the ring to end the show.

Dark Match:
– HHH defeated The Great Khali with a sledgehammer shot
