HBK's wife has a broken jaw from Y2J?
Wow, nothing like copying the Booker/Roode story from this winter.
Maybe WWE should get a huge black chick to pummel all the divas too. POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!!!!!

I'm glad they changed his name to Gavin, had they called him Shawn, I SO would've confused him with HBK. That Vince, he is WAY superior in intelligence than his audience.

I'm guessing Batista vs. Cena for the belt and fans can choose between Austin, Funaki, and Steve Lombardi as referee. Love the way WWE gives fans the "choice" on this show.

Stone Cold's coming back? That's all that matters on this page.

Oh joy. The alcoholic wife beater is back...

Gavin Spears is the love child of Randy Orton and Jamie Noble.

So is Stone Cold coming back to feud with Jericho because he should've been the one to punch Whisper in the face?

Schucks, really? Wow. Who woulda thunk?A broken jaw from getting hit in the face? I never would've guessed.

Dear Stone Cold,

If you are an alcoholic wife beater, but are a top star in the company, we will not do anything about to get you some help or to protect your wife. We will basically force your wife to stay silent while we get all the money out of you that we can working you as hard as we can in as many matches as we can, then after all your hard work and loyalty, we want to punk you out to Brock Lesnar so you can out him over all so he can end up leaving the company anyway. Thanks for making us million and millions of dollars while we give you a pitance of that amount. As long as we keep selling your merchandise and as long as you're healhty enough to headline ppvs, we won't mandate that you go to rehab to hopefully save your life or to protect your wife from you. All we care about is money.

Sincerely,

Vince McMahon.

What's with all of these celebrity name rip-offs. Kenny Dykstra = Lenny Dykstra, Bam Neely = Cam Neely, Evan Bourne = Jason Bourne and now Gavin Spears = Britany Spears. The WWE needs to get a shot of creativity.

WWE did steal from Booker/Sharmell/Roode

A fractured jaw? That's the best you can do?

What do you tell a woman with two black eyes and a fat lip?
Nothing she's already been told three times.

HBK's wife may have a fractured jaw from Jericho hitting her, and Austin is coming back. There's a joke in there somewhere.

Now if I remember correctly Austin stunnered a couple of women on tv for different reasons... but Jericho accidentally pops HBK's wife and people are ready to tear him apart.

I miss Jesse Ventura's commentary about faces getting away with heelish acts.

All things considered, I have to give props to HBK, his wife, and Jericho for the whole story.

She's really supportive for going along with it, and Chris was able to pull his punch enough to make it look good, but still puff her lip a little.

And some say Shawn should have jumped on Chris for the hit, but seeing him make his wife #1 priority and sell the shock of it all was very well done.

I wonder what her non-storyline thoughts on the whole thing are.

Let the wife beatings continue! By God, they've earned it!

You morons act like TNA was the first to ever do the "accidental punch" to a woman thing. It's been done before. Plus, while I was watching it, I didn't even think about the Book/Sharmell/Roode thing because: 1. this fued is sooooooooo much better than the Booker/Roode fued was and 2. this was done better IMO. Please stop acting like TNA invented it.

Remember when Snitsky accidentally hit Lita, or when D'Lo accidentally hit Teri? WWE are such theives that they've been ripping off TNA angles since before TNA even existed! CAN'T YOU PEOPLE SEE THE DEPTHS VINCE IS WILLING TO SINK TO? What other TNA ideas did Vince rip off in the 90's that we don't know about yet? Somebody has to put a stop to this!

BAH GAWD!

SOMEBODY'S GONNA GET BURIED TONIGHT!

When did TNA get storylines? Was it sometime after deciding to hire 80% of WWE rejects, regardless of their important personal issues but before deciding to book every important match so it has an utterly worthless finish?

Posted By: Ash (Guest)  on August 20, 2008 at 04:44 PM

i see Shawn Michaels, his wife and kids at church on Sunday's I'm excited about seeing her fat lip this weekend.

well maybe the people on here are talking about the storyline being similar to something TNA done in the past because most wwe fans act like wwe invented everything in wrestling

Posted By: random (Guest)  on August 20, 2008 at 05:52 PM

Well, Random...

Next thing you know, people will claim someone interfering in the match of a champion that they're feuding with over a belt is an idea stolen from TNA.

Rational/good-booking isn't always stolen booking, even if someone else just did a similar angle recently. Some non-wrestler gets punched in the jaw...the rational conclusion is that they might have a jaw injury. 1+1=2. But apparently in "TNA-Elitist" world, 1+1=WWE sucks and steals ideas.

Jericho nailed Rebecca cuz she WHISPER-ed something to him.

Posted By: Darren (Guest)  on August 21, 2008 at 01:23 AM

People this is not the first time the accidental hit a woman thing ever happened in wrestling before.

But I see where those comparing this to Roode/Booker/Sharmell are coming from. While the Y2J/HBK/Rebecca storyline was done better, there are obvious similarities to the Booker/Roode storyline. And to be honest when I read that HBK's wife had a fractured jaw that's the first thing I thought of. Now I don't know how many of these type of storylines had the woman suffering a fracture jaw.

I'll take the "wifebeater" over any present maineventer today. Stone Cold was and is the greatest of all time. Only 12 year old Cena fans and 40 year old Hogan fans seem to miss this fact. Raw has not will not be the same since Austin left. Fuck this "PG" crap. Raw is Lame.

Posted By: MBD (Guest)  on August 21, 2008 at 06:14 PM

So... Apparently TNA invented every angle ever now. Really?

I feel sorry for Rebecca she has been one of my heros just like Shawn. And I dont care anbout there famousness i like there personalities. GET WELL SOON REBECCA! TAKE CARE SHAWN AND REBECCA!

You people have to give up on this TNA hating train you have jumped on. TNA is a hell of alot better than half ther shit WWE puts on these days due to the fact that TNA has new people and actually pushes them and gives them spots and doesn't just bury their future under the boss's daughter's husband because he wines like a little school girl. Seriously think about it look how WWE/F started out. I dunno maybe early 80's, first WM in 85, no weekly TV spoots till 91, hell TNA has been around since what 2002 and already has a 2 hour broadcast. TNA was known of when it started where as when WWE/F started people didn't know about it untill it entered their town/city/state. TNA has already done a hell of alot more than WWE has in its beginning years and with WWE's future going down the shitter because all you get is the same shit different day crap. Seriously with WWE when was the last time there was a main event without Cena, Batista, HHH, Taker, Edge, Orton, JBL, HBK or Jeff Hardy in the past few years? Can't answer because there hasn't been. In TNA you get a different challenger for the title every month or two depending on the story line. Granted we have got AJ/Angle for quite sometime but shit they put on excellent matches. Now if WWE wanted shit like that they could mold their "lower card" guys into main eventers which wont happen untill HHH retires.

Now you all don't need to hate on TNA because they are better than WWE product wise, you all choose to because its different and because the E didn't think of it first although I will give them credit for that shitty championship scramble, talk about epic fail in a can. Someday soon the E will have its first real chalenge since Nitro and this time when Imapct becomes huge I guarantee that the WWE will not succeed this time because Vince won't be able to go buy out TNA.
