Oh Boy! Buy Summerslam on DVD and get the exciting extra of Shawn and Rebecca looking grumpy on their way out of the building.

"WWE has started work on an Iron Sheik autobiography."

Doesn't "autobiography" imply he is writing it himself?

Over the past few yrs I have become a HUUUGE Sheiky fan. He's absolutely hilarious on Howard Stern and in those shoot/Youtube videos.
Pretty sad though that his drug habit has left him a broken man financially and physically.
I just wonder how he can do an autobiography when he is pretty fried and probably won't remember much of his heyday.
They'll need LOTS of research and contributions from other wrestlers to make this thing accurate.
I'll be first in line for this book!!
MAKE 'IM 'UM-BELLLLL!!!!!

What they really need is a DVD of wrestlers telling Sheiky Baby's road stories!
Kevin Nash's Sheik impression is funny as hell. Marty Jannetty tells a story on Youtube of Sheik giving some chick a short arm clothesline- where Sheik says the chick got hurt b/c she can't "work"...you gotta see that one.
Long live the real champion!!!!

It must be written in completely untranslated Sheik English.

Then I will buy it.

It's funny how people think the Sheik's "autobiography" will just be the written version of his stupid YouTube rants. It's the WWE. They're going to clean up. They can't come to terms with Bret to release his book due to the sex/drug content, do you really think the Sheik one will be much different.

Plus, his fifteen minutes is up. If they wanted to do this, they should have done it a year ago and cashed in.

And I find it funny when people talk about how "hilarious" he is and then how "sad" his drug use is. The drugs clearly induce his "hilarious" nature. Way to be a hypocrite.

"Pretty sad though that his drug habit has left him a broken man financially and physically."

We can all "front" him some cash by buying his book. Should be an entertaining read.

At last, the definitive Iron Sheik autobiography as he describes in great detail how he will humble Brian Blair just like they do in the old country.

I'd throw down at least $40 for a Iron Sheik dvd... Lord knows I'd pay even more for a package deal with a shirt!

Yeah, their extras have been BOGUS~! the last couple years.

I want the Iron Shiek Autobiography in Audiobook form.

Has anyone got the Summerslam box set yet? I remember reading that they weren't going to cut out Benoit but that was quite some time ago.

How does the WWE start an autobiography on someone? Wouldn't an Iron Sheik autobiography have to be done by himself? I get the point of the sentance, but I believe it'd have to be a biography if written by anyone other than the person himself.

Please let the shiek do a book signing tour. I live in tampa and will bring him a brian blair political sign!

I'm calling it now, Grammy for best Audio Book, then a movie to follow starring Santino Marella as The Iron Sheik with Ed from Shaun of the Dead co-starring as Nikolai Volkof, Spencer from the Hills as Hulk Hogan, and Jay Leno as Sgt. Slaughter.

" I get the point of the sentance, but I believe it'd have to be a biography if written by anyone other than the person himself."

Well, it could mean that they are working on getting the little insert-quotes from guys for the book, which likely the Sheik wouldn't do.

Or he's working with a ghost writer. Which is likely what it is.
