Various News: Another Flair Autobiography, and Update on Steve “Dr. Death” Williams and More
Posted by Larry Csonka on 09.03.2008
Some various news items for Wednesday!
- Steve "Dr. Death" Williams recently got out of the hospital after undergoing surgery for a hernia. Williams, who is 48-years old, said that he thinks this is a sign to retire. He has been working independents occasionally since WWE stopped using his as a trainer.
- Ric Flair is looking into writing a second autobiography, likely working with Mark Madden. There is currently no timetable on the project, but this is one of the projects wanted to do independently of WWE.
- John Hollis of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution is currently working with Lex Luger on an autobiography.
Luger's gonna need all the help he can get, he has trouble speaking coherently let alone writing a book.

it would be interesting to see Flairs thoughts going in the HBK match at mania and coming out of it.

Steve Williams is only 48??? Wow.

In all fairness there are only a few wrestler autobiographies that SHOULD ever be written.
Ric Flair
Foley
Sting
Hulk Hogan
Randy Savage
Jerry Lawler
Larry Zybsco
Buddy Rogers
Lou Thez
and maybe a few others. I know a lot of those names already have written them but a lot of what was said in those books was more of a work ****HOGAN**** than any wrestling match/show/card ever.
Lex freaking Luger???????????
Unless he is confessing to offing Liz what exactly is the interest?
Is he going to talk about how Bruiser Brody scared him again?
Really in this day of "Shoot Interviews" let's leave it to that.

I concur with Fuzzy. Dr. Death looks much older than that...

Random Q: Didn't Mark Madden coin the term "spin-a-roonie"?
Posted By: Rick (Guest) on September 03, 2008 at 04:56 PM
Luger didn't "off" Elizabeth - They were 2 consenting adults dabbling in some Class A's and she O.D'd - You cannot hold Lex responsible, it takes two to tango!

Lex Luger is writing an autobiography? I DON'T KNOW! And your t-shirts are too tight too, Billy!

And the winner of all these comments is MP! Referencing his most legendary internet promo = win.
Another acceptable but more vague answer would be "He's writing a book? Can he afford to pay me?"

HAHAHAHA! MP uses the fake Scott NM comment to try to bolster up his shitty comment. Saw him do it twice before. How pathetic. Try again epic pissboy.

WOW! MP is now using fake names to try to make his comments sound more important. Swing and a miss. Stay classy MP.
