TNA News: More On Foley, Bound for Glory Expectations, Angle Divorce

Wednesday TNA news update...
- Mick Foley is not in Orlando today for the Impact taping. It is expected that he will make his first live appearance for TNA at the Impact taping on 9/29.
- TNA is expecting the buyrate for Bound for Glory to be up significantly compared to what their PPVs usually do.
- Kurt Angle has apparently filed for divorce from Karen. Bubba the Love Sponge reported this today, saying he heard it straight from Kurt, and Dave Meltzer has since confirmed it with people in TNA. Both Kurt and Karen are backstage in Orlando for the Impact taping though, and are getting along fine.
Well there goes that reality show... too bad too, I would have LOVED to watch that trainwreck.

Wow WTF. Karen and Kurt divorcing? That's a little awkward. I thought going to TNA saved Kurt's family relationships?
Also, EPIC SUCK not having Foley on the Impact after his video debut at the end of the last one. Maybe they taped another video segment for both shows on the same day, but still, no fans could possibly be drawn in by this now. Epic 1.0 rating for Impact the next two weeks.

I think they both had something special in one time, but sometimes married couples need to grow apart, especially if there is a sure problem wich they cannot solve. It appears to me like there is more than one problem. They must both think abouth their children 1st and seek salvage through counseling if they have not yet...Good luck to you all. You seemed like a good couple at 1st.

TNA is in for a big time reality check if they are expecting anything better than their usual miserable PPV buyrates. Kurt Angle vs. Mick Foley is NOT a draw in 2008. Why won't TNA just go away already, I think they've blown all their chances to draw in new fans.

It seems that every time an angle is run where a wrestler and his wife split up, they up splitting up for real shortly thereafter. Savagae and Liz, DDP and Kim, Dustin and Terri; I thought of that when they started the story line with the Angles in TNA, and sure enough, here it comes. I'd like to think it's just part of the kayfabe work, but somehow I think it's probably real. Too bad, and congrats to Charlie Haas that Jackie has left the business before this can happen to them! If you can smell .... what truthie ..... is cooking.

Kurt and Karen divorce.
Booker T had his wife on one or two WWE shows and promptly dumped her for Paisley -- um.. Sharmell.
DDP lost Kimberly.
Sullivan lost Woman.
Dustin lost Terri.
Undertaker ditched Sara.
Marc Mero lost Sable.
Mongo lost Debra, who later ditched Stone Cold.
Hulk lost Linda.
Simon Diamond lost Dawn Marie.
Randy lost Ms. Elizabeth. (And if you wanna see what kind of karma awaited Chris Benoit had he lived, google Lex Luger.)
Yeah, wrestlers' wives on television is not a good thing unless you're named McMahon.

odds are good, however, since they aren't playing this out on TNA programming, that it is more likely real than not.

but when you think about it 99 percent of the men on 411mania are probably excited that Karen Angles single again hell even I am even thoguh I know it would never happen ahh well maybe if were lucky she will do playboy now
anyway we don't even know if their officially through yet Karen had filed for divorce from kurt two times before and she ended up staying with him
