A fight broke out between Scott Hall and a comedian at a roast for the Iron Sheik last night in Monroe, NJ. The comedian made what was described as a tasteless joke about Owen Hart, which prompted Hall to attack the comedian. Punches were thrown but nobody was arrested. Video footage is below. The first video features footage right after the fight, followed by the second video which also is after the fight where Hall continues to yell to the stage at the comedian.
Jackass should have been knocked out. Hall should have thrown him off a bridge or something.

At the end of the first video the bald guy who hands off the mic to Bill Apter looks like King Kong Bundy, who I know has become a stand up comedian in recent years. Makes me wonder if he was the comedian that Hall had the fight with.

On the one hand, I take my hat off to Scott Hall for defending his fallen friend. I believe Scott fought the good fight right there, and I respect him for sticking up for what he believed in and it seems he wasn't alone in that sentiment.
On the other hand...
God FUCKING DAMNIT HALL!!!!!!!!!!! CAN YOU NOT STAY SOBER FOR TEN FUCKING MINUTES!??!!? Every bit of good that he did there was completely erased by that fact that he was seen as a drunken rambling idiot. What pisses me off is that Scott Hall had all the tools and he could have been a World Champion, and was at one time considered one of the top 20 wrestlers in America. He could have had and done so much better. If he would just unfuck himself and crawl out of the damn bottle. DAMNIT!!!

Bundy does stand up now. but i dont think it was him that made the remark. But good for Hall. Im sure the comedian who Bundy stood up for, ran the hell outta there. Hall is a BIG dude in real life, and i wouldnt wanna fuck with him. Bundy was probably just keepin the peace. he grew up in Washington township, NJ. Not too far from where this was.

It's a roast. Tasteless or not, that's what roasts are. I'm sure it's different if they're talking about your friend, sure, but you don't go making an ass of yourself.
I'm a standup comedian, and I've heard a lot worse. You just smile and nod at the comic's unoriginality and move on. Tasteless jokes are easy. They're for comics who don't know how to write.

Okay, the comment was "the sheik's career fell faster than Owen Hart". It was over the top, but for hall to physically attack the guy is ridiculous. Bundy, for his part was just trying to not let it ruin the entire evening. They all went there to honor the iron sheik, whacked out as he may be. They weren't there for the Scott hall show. He made his point then went too far in attempting to continue the focus on himself. It's a shame, but Scott Hall has put himself in position to have a "self destruction of the ultimate warrior" type DVD done about him.

I really think everyone is missing the point. It wasn't like it was some generic person that they were discussing... Scott Hall and many of the wrestlers in the room KNEW and were friends with Owen Hart. Its easy for us to go "It's a joke get over it".
Example: Your good friend dies in a car wreck that isn't his fault at all. Some one jokes about his death, in public. While you are sitting there.

but as many others in this post have said, tasteless humour is expected at roasts, if you can't take a joke, don't go to a comedy show (or just look for lame, G/PG-rated observational garbage)
