Various News: Marc Briscoe Injured, Trish Stratus Update and More
Posted by Larry Csonka on 11.24.2008

- Marc Briscoe suffered a re-injury of his knee Friday night in Dayton, Ohio. There is no word on how severe the injury is, but it had a factor in how the Briscoe's were booked on the PPV taping Saturday in Chicago. No word right now if he will miss time or not, but he has been working with injuries since the ROH Japanese tour.

- Former WWE Diva Trish Stratus has had her Travel series "Stratusphere" was picked up for a second season by the Travel and Escape Channel in Canada. There has been talk of the series being picked up in the US by the Travel Channel, but there is no date in place.

- The Charleston Post Courier has an article about Reid Flair's debut match, which can be read here.

"The young Flair will have his first match in Charlotte on Dec. 6. He and older brother David, managed by their father, will meet The Nasty Boys (Jerry Saggs and Brian Knobbs), managed by Jimmy Hart. Flair said he handpicked the opponents."

Damn. First match, and he's supposed to look good teaming with David Flair against the Nasty Boys? Good luck kid.

Trish Stratus should do some hardcore porn. I, for one, would continue to respect her.

If he looks good in this match than we know his future is paved with gold.

As Elliot said, "Good luck kid".

Wow...poor Reid...saddles with a useless (last I saw, hopefully he improved) partner in David Flair, against the sloppiest and most overrated team in history, The Nasty Boys...poor kid.

In other news... David is excited about this oppurtunity because the article will be the reason why he turns on his brother and his career will SKYROCKET!!

in his first match against the nasty boys and with his brother as a partner its pretty much a given that he will be the best person in the ring. he will look like a million bucks i think, smart move

Today's headline: One of the Briscoe brothers suffered injury.

In other news, the sun rose in the east, revealing a light blue sky.

Nope. It was reported a while back that he did, but not true. I was surprised as well when he showed up on Hogan Knows Best.

kind of makes you think how many wrestlers have been reported dead but still live under assumed identities... turning away the limelight to live a quiet, more dignified life...

or showing up on hogan knows best...either or
