- Former ECW star Francine is now expecting her first child. [PWInsider.com]
- WWE talent touched down in Iraq yesterday. Talent has since been sent off to different operating bases for visits. The Tribute to the Troops special will be taped on 12/5 at the Camp Liberty Base Complex in Baghdad, Iraq. The special will air on 12/20 on NBC. [PWInsider.com]

The NWA has confirmed that the Novi, MI show that was originally scheduled for 12/7 has been rescheduled to 1/3/08 and that "The Prince Of Punk" Shannon Moore has been confirmed for that date.

I thought in years past that they didn't reveal where the show was being taped at due to safety issues (in regards to the WWE Tribute to the Troops show).

man, you guys talking about 'not revealing the date and location' should remember that Baghdad is GMT+3.
as i write this, at 1524 Mountain time on December 4th, it is 0124 Baghdad time on December 5th.
and you obviously have no idea of the security at, and the size of Camp Liberty Base. you also seem to assume that planning for this hasn't been under works for months because they only confirmed the special a couple of weeks ago.
you also appear to think that Baghdad today is the same one from last year, which it isn't. it still isn't the safest place on earth, but the Balkanisation of Baghdad is done, and the sectarian violence has subsided greatly.
oh well, if nothing else, total props to every single member of that group for going into Baghdad. too bad that more performers didn't have this much class.
