Tons of TNA news!
- For those that missed the results from the New Japan Tokyo Dome Show, Team 3D captured the IWGP Tag Team Titles. They are now the only tag team to ever hold the ECW, WWF/E, TNA, NWW, New Japan, All Japan, HUSTLE and WCW tag titles. The Motor City Machineguns also captured the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles.

Here we go again, yes WWE bought WCW and could have done whatever they wanted with the titles. However, they had the same company's booking committee book these guys to win this WCW championship, so this is really no big feat, it wasn't about winning over a new territory, new diehard fans nothing, nothing to do with being over enough. When it all comes down to it its scripted but, basically WWE could have just created a new belt and it would have the same effect, what a joke.

You forgot 3D's other title, "Most Boring Team!"

who cares ?
3D is a shadow of their old selves.
belt-hungry elephants.
Stop destroying your legacy , fatasses.

Most boring team. Yea, that makes sence. They were in possibly the most exciting matches in wrestling history, the triangle ladder match at WM2000 (I think) and TLC 1 and 2 at SummerSlam and WM after that. Yean there really boring.

I just love the comments sections - you can spot the WWE/TNA fanboys by a mile.
Congrats to Teram 3D and the MCMG - but I do agree with some of the sentiments that Team 3D are a shadow of their former selves, just like every other wrestler who gets old and keeps working beyond their prime.

The fact they aren't in the E anymore makes them boring to the clubbers.

Ryder and Hawkins have that one looked up easily. Cody Rhodes and Manu are a close second.

Forget New York, LA or Chicago. You've made it big once you hit Kamloops.

That is quite a feat, say what you will but the Dudley's are one of the most successful teams of all time.
However, as I think Blah was saying, they never worked for WCW. They were given WCWWF tag titles. Palumbo and O'Haire were the last WCW World Tag Team Champions.

Mick Foley is the only man in history to hold the world tag team titles of WWE, ECW, and WCW under their original banners. Therefore, Mick Foley is greater than Team 3D.

I can't wait for TNA to hit the UK once again, hopefully they will have more shirts available to buy!

no it's not worth repeating

Yeah, I hear TNA is huge in Kamloops & Kelowna!!!
Actually, isn't that a Samoan tag team?
Posted By: VOZ (Guest) on January 05, 2009 at 04:49 PM
Why go to LA, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Cleveland, or even Washington DC when you can play to HUGE crowds in Kamloops(?) or Kelowna?
You guys know all about the rich wrestling history to come out of Kamloops right????

hold the WCW tag titles? Were they in WCW before 2001?
Like Scott Steiner said, "I was in WCW and I don't remember seeing you there."
Team 3D held the WWF absorbed titles. That's as impressive as holding the OVW tag titles.
Posted By: When did they... (Guest) on January 05, 2009 at 05:15 PM
amazing...WWE a few weeks ago announced the venue for their end-of-August PPV. And TNA are still trying to FIND a venue for their start-of-February PPV.
That's incredible. Who's running this company (nobody, clearly.)

Mick Foley and Devon are teaming with AJ? Are there any other promising young guys? At least try to build Lethal. I don't know what to expect from Frontline vs. MEM. At least I'm enjoying it
You forgot 3D's other title, "Most Boring Team!"
They had a great match against MCMG. Another great 6-man match early last year. Another really good tag team match from Victory Road 07. Another great 6-man tag from last year's Victory Road. They may not be in the best shape ever but they can still bring it at times.

WTH is the NWW Tag Title?
Posted By: wew3 (Guest) on January 05, 2009 at 06:23 PM
Dudleyz win NOAH tag gold for the japanese and american trifecta! it would be surreal to actually have a team that have won the tag titles in every major promotion in the world (but haven't the steiners or the road warriors won every major tag title in america and japan in the 90s or 80s?)promoters prob also have jumped on board as well, as stacking the dudleyz with more accolades includes that company when mentioning all the dudley's achievements.

Sorry to burst anyones bubble, but Team 3D NEVER won the AJPW World Tag Team Titles. They won the World Strongest Tag Tournament but NOT the titles. Check the title histories.
