Was the Jobber really RVD?

Posted By: Curious. (Guest)  on January 05, 2009 at 11:10 PM

It's been Hardy vs Henry for like 8 weeks now..

Does anyone know if Boogey's jobber re-signed or if it was just a one-shot deal?

Posted By: Metalingus (Guest)  on January 05, 2009 at 11:16 PM

Fans in attendance are saying that the jobber Boogeyman defeated was Rob Van Dam in a mask doing a one time appearance.

Really enjoying that ROH subscription program... It's nice to be able to watch good wrestling on monday and tuesday again.

Yikes. The show looks almost as bad as Raw was.

Posted By: BrendanFM (Guest)  on January 05, 2009 at 11:37 PM

Well Matt Hardy beat World's Dumbest man cleanly at the tapings so hopefully it's the end of this pointless feud

Posted By: Puff (Guest)  on January 06, 2009 at 12:19 AM

The jobber was actually Tyson Tomko wearing a mask and bodysuit.

Matt Hardy defeated Mark Henry = EPIC REPEAT x1000000

Katie Lea got a win??? About time that sexy bitch got a win. Seriously, her evil sneer is hot.

Posted By: Butters4Prez (Guest)  on January 06, 2009 at 01:03 AM

Hope the Hardy vs Henry match is as good as their last few, they've gotten into a good rhythm together. Henry is really improving by going against Hardy so much.

Surprised Swagger beat Finlay, though I suppose I shouldn't be, they obviously want to keep Swagger strong for when he goes for the ECW title. Probably win it too, maybe at Wrestlemania.

Would anyone have been surprised if Christian had made his debut on ECW? It's his most likely landing spot in the long run.

Posted By: Nutty (Guest)  on January 06, 2009 at 02:14 AM

Every wrestler named on this show is a jobber.Who watchs this show?No one. thats who. thats why Matt hardy is a champion.YAWN!

and her square face is weird

Obviously they're preparing Jack Swagger already to start carrying ECW once Miz/Morrison make their departure. Outside Finlay/Swagga, this looks like a throwaway show... Not that I don't expect the main event to be good, but it's just that we've seen Hardy/Henry played to death and beyond already.

Tommy Dreamer cant look his kids in the eye anymore!

Posted By: Devenchi (Guest)  on January 06, 2009 at 09:25 AM

uglyhead, at least they don't look like jobbers like half the Raw roster.

Posted By: Duane Gill's Lost Skullet (Guest)  on January 06, 2009 at 09:53 AM

Ok seriously get Dolph Ziggler on TV. He is more over than anyone on the curtain jerk- i mean ECW roster. Also how does Tommy Dreamer keep getting work? I swear he's too fat to wrestle. Fatty!

Posted By: Wilbur (Guest)  on January 06, 2009 at 01:17 PM

Katie Lea winning, excellent. Two thumbs up.

Posted By: Jerome K Jerome (Guest)  on January 06, 2009 at 02:37 PM

So... this is the product that everyone has been saying rules the weekly wrestling shows? Must be because the other stuff is just SO horrible that garbage like this is appealing.

WWECW is suffering from the same affliction that plagued it when it was first resurrected - lack of depth in the roster. This leads to many repetitive matches that the fans quickly grow tired of.
