TNA News: Updates on Awesome Kong and Kevin Nash

Legit problems for both…
- Awesome Kong suffered a back injury sometime last week, which is why her match was pulled from tonight's PPV. She will not miss much time, but will have to miss TNA's upcoming European Tour.
- As mentioned on the TNA PPV, Kevin Nash is hospitalized in Charlotte with a severe staph infection in one of his elbows. He may also has blood poisoning due to the severe infection. There is a lot of concern in the locker room for Nash's health right now.
Like him or hate him, I wish Kevin Nash a full recovery. A severe staph infection is a dangerous thing, lets hope he got it from an inocuous source.

Too bad about Nash. I've never really been a huge fan but at least he's over 6 feet tall and 200lbs and to the best of my knowledge has never performed a springboard anything.

Casey - my thoughts exactly. Was Nash scheduled to job in a match tonight? Or get beat down? I understand that a staph infection is serious, but seeing as Kevin is the epitome of the boy who cried "wolf!" when it's time for him to do the j-o-b (remember his heart problems that supposedly surfaced when he was supposed to job to someone in the X-division?), he always gets sick.

Candido died from a blood clot. That's why you take blood thinners for certain surgeries, I had a high school friend who died from the same freak situation. Leg injury, get a blot clot sent into the heart, dead. Staph infections are serious business too, but a different beast.

My son cut his finger off when he was 5 and had to have surgery to repair, while in the hospital, he was infected with MRS staph. It can be deadly, but it lives on most peoples skin or inside the nose, my son was quarantined for 7 days. that was 5 years ago and myself, my 2 boys and my girl will get the infection from time to time. It is painful and requires some heavy duty antibotics. If it's on the skin it's like a huge(silver dollar and larger), deep pimple that has to be lanced and drained for days. the infection can get in the joints and blood. It is not fun

Yeah, right. The forums here exploded into sympathy for Batista and Cena when they got injured.
We have sympathy for the good wrestlers, we're glad to get a break from the bad ones, and only total tools wish death on any of them.
Notice no one in here is saying bad things about Kong? Last time I looked, she wasn't in WWE.
Nash has a bad reputation and a lot of ill will with the internet. Most of it deserved, some of it not. Thus you're going to see some negativity (for example, my speculation that this was just another Nash lie to get out of doing the j-o-b). Then there are some tools that jerk off in glee over the internet being anonymous and act like the people they only dream they could be outside of mommy's basement. Those are the ones wishing death on another human being.

I've since stop caring about the callous posting that continaully goes on here at 411 because its expected. But I thought I would add my two cents anyway.
Some of the racist, sexist,callous, mean spirited posting that goes on throughout 411 blows my mind. There are some real pyschos out there, and anyone who posts on an internet board wishing death on someone who has no direct influence on their daily lives outside of being a pro wrestler on TV has serious mental issues.
I've called for this before, but really, 411 needs to start registering their all their members, cut out the open posting without a registered account on news postings, and also should hire a moderater to weed out these undesirable posts. It just makes a great site look bad.
I do not blame Ashish or Larry for these actions. This board has to be very tough to keep updated day in and day out. But those of you posting trash like death threats to Kevin Nash, take a deep look at what your saying. This is a human being and noone deserves that kind of disrespect, whether he is a poor wrestler or not.

Candido died from a blood clot but I think one of the Von Erich's died from complications due to staph. If this is a work, its not even remotely funny.
