More Various News: New Trish Stratus Blog, Lashley Speaks on UFC, More
Posted by Larry Csonka on 01.19.2009

- According to Pwinsider.com, United States Tennis Association executive Michelle Wilson has resigned from the USTA so that she can take a position with World Wrestling Entertainment.

- Trish Stratus had a new WWE Universe blog up, discussing Victoria's retirement, saying: "Her departure was the last of a group of women who collectively raised the bar in women's wrestling. A time when of the core players that made up the women's roster, 9 of them were champions, 6 of them becoming champion for the first time, second time, etc. During that time we saw the introduction of new characters and the reinvention of others, good guys and bad, each offering something different than the other - a flavor for everyone." You can check out the full blog here.

- Former WWE star, turned MMA fighter Bobby Lashley recently sat down for an interview with Sherdog.com. Lashey says that he can match up with any heavyweight in MMA, and then discusses the UFC: "I think it's not going to be my decision or my manager's decision. Ultimately, it's going to be Dana White's decision. I think they understand what I'm doing right now. I'm not just trying to jump in there right away. If we jumped in there right now it's just a professional wrestler fighting. I want to feel comfortable in the ring and I want to build myself up. I want to be an established MMA fighter, than take on those big fights." You can read the full interview here.

I can't buy lashley in the MMA just for his voice alone. He always sounded like a chirping mouse to me although tyson had that voice and was a beast.

Fortunately, in the UFC he'd get paid to lay people out, not talk. No big concern there.

Whats Michelle Wilson's talent why WWE might want her?

Champ, you are a racist piece of shit and should be hung and burned on your own cross.Die and rot in hell.

Hey Champ, just so you know, not all of us negros eat watermellon. Some of us prefer to chew up racist pigs for dinner.

Hey, Champ. I'm a white guy who eats watermelons.

*PAF*

There, his little racist brain (allegedly) just exploded and the rest of us adults can talk now.

Dana will want Bobby if he wins a hand full of matches, sounds obvious right?

I'm pretty sure champ just said that to rile everyone up.

With all the people being laid off at WWE, why do they need this broad?

He's right about 1 thing - it's Dana's decision. And Dana made it quite clear that since he has the original, he doesn't need a copy.

Trish's blog sounds like a very good read

Trish is on the cover of soem fitness magazine this month and she looks beautiful. Megan Fox doesn't hold a candle to Trish Stratus. Trish rules.

Forget Lashley. WWE have learned their lesson apparently and from now on will focus on real Superstars who can bring the heat, like Kung Fu Naki.

Posted By: Afa (Guest)  on January 19, 2009 at 08:39 PM

Shit. It's "some" fitness magazine, not "soem." I should proofread a little better. It doesn't change the fact that Trish is gorgeous.

Hehe, it's because of the magic of censorship. The mod(s) apparently didn't like the comment by that guy, so they removed it - after a couple of guys managed to reply to it.

I don't know if Lashley likes Watermellon, but I bet he would kill a man for some fried chicken and pigs feet.

Which is pretty funny because it has to be approved in the first place. (Unless registered posts do not need approval. I don't know. I'm too lazy to register.)

I will say one thing about Lashley, atleast he wishes to become an established MMA fighter and actually deserving of the UFC contract unlike Lesnar who got shot to the moon.
