That Michaels v Austin match from KOTR 97 is one of my favorite matches. Both guys on top of their game and the "interference" by a fan in the middle of it made the match even more memorable.

Ryan what is wrong with you that show aired 12 years ago get over it. We all know taker pins faarooq and austin hbk ends in a draw and hhh wins the tournament.

Agreed, Devin, that's always been one of my favorites. I was a huge fan of both guys at the time. Christ, Austin was awesome pre-neck injury.

The best part of that match was when that retard in the crowd interrupted the match, and Shawn was like "oh, I'm a babyface and totally disingenuous person in a real life, I should go pretend to help this kid" and then Steve Austin was like "oh, well fuck all of that noise, I'm just going to beat Shawn's ass while he pretends to help that retard" and then THE AWESOME was brought by all.

I always loved the Michaels/Austin match... especially when the Special Olympics Kid falls over the barricade... that 3 minute sequence is priceless!
