World Wrestling Council Results for January 31st 2009 from Bayamon, PR


- "The Stylish Man" Johnny Styles defeats Little Ricky Rubio by pinfall.

-WWC Women's Title:
Sweet Nancy defeats Killer Kat by pinfall to retain the title.

- "The Man-Beast" Angel defeats Mr. X by pinfall

- "Mr. Puerto Rico" Tommy Diablo & "Rottweiler" Ricky Reyes defeat Los Aerios (Carlitos & Hiram Tua) by pinfall. Johnny Styles runs in and nails Tua with his walking stick, which serves him up for Reyes to pin. Heel beatdown follows, until Angel makes the save. Both sides trade insults and agree to a 6-Man Tag Team Match next week.

-WWC Universal Title:
"Mr. Ratings" Rey Gonzales defeats "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino by reversed decision. La Pesadilla runs in to attack Rey, which allows Corino to take out a set of brass knuckles and he knocks out Rey. The heel ref Mr. Mac runs in to count the pinfall and Corino is declared the winner and new champion. Victor Jovica comes out and reverses the decision, because he is not going to allow them to steal the title. He makes a rematch for next week with Chicky Starr as special referee.

-Non-Title Match:
WWC Puerto Rican Champion "The Phenomenal" BJ defeats "The Hammer" Charles Evans by pinfall. Chicky Starr distracts Evans and BJ gets a victory roll for the win.

-WWC Tag Team Titles: Hardcore Match
Hardcore Evolution (Huracan Castillo & Rico Suave) defeat Thunder & Lightning by pinfall to retain the titles. All four men where busted open. Castillo gets the ring bell, while Lightning gets a chair. Lightning nails Castillo, who drops the bell, but Suave picks up the bell and nails Lightning from behind for the pinfall win.
