Ezekiel Jackson vs. Vladimir Kozlov
We hear before the match that Regal is dealing with a "business matter" and is not in the building leaving these two to duke it out. Kozlov takes Jackson over with a fireman's carry into the rope, but Zeke comes right back and they trade forearms. The two men collide both crashing to the floor where the battle continues. Kozlov gets the better of it early kicking Jackson into the barricade. Jackson posts Kozlov as the brawl continues on the floor, and we have a double count out at 1:30. Kozlov wants more, but Jackson retreats to the back. What a terrible waste of time that was. Winner: Draw (Double Count Out DUD)
Chavo Guerrero vs. Primo
Wow, they are really phoning in the Christmas Eve edition aren't they? Chavo takes over Primo with a snap mare, but Primo answers with a kick to the jaw. Primo grabs a side headlock, and follows with a legsweep for one. Primo locks in an armbar, but Chavo is back with a knee to the midsection. Chavo runs into a monkeyflip from Primo, and then goes headfirst to the top buckle. Primo hits a sunset flip for two, but eats a kick from Chavo in the corner as he regains control. Chavo hits a European uppercut for two, and grabs an armbar. Primo comes back with a series of right hands, and then delivers a flying back elbow off the ropes. Primo hits a dropkick and Side Russian Legsweep for two, and then heads to the top rope. Springboard crossbody attempt by Primo is blocked by Chavo with a dropkick. Chavo goes for the three amigos, but the third amigo is countered into a small package for two. Primo hits a backdrop and goes for bodyslam but Chavo is able to counter flying out of the ring and hanging Primo over the top rope. Chavo uses that opening to head to the top rope and deliver the frog splash for the clean win at 5:12. I honestly for the life of me can't remember Chavo's last clean victory. Winner: Chavo Guerrero (Pinfall-Frog Splash **)
-Drew McIntyre joins us for an in ring promo. McIntyre clad in a very nice suit says when Mr. McMahon personally sent him to Smackdown he saw the future. He saw an individual who could take over and lead this company into a new generation. He says he stands here before us as the new Intercontinental Champion. McIntyre says Mr. McMahon was right, and everything he said would do he has done. He says this also means when Mr. McMahon proclaimed him a future World Champion its only a matter of time. John Morrison has heard enough as comes out for a retort. Morrison says McIntyre is standing here as the new Intercontinental Champion, and it looks like him and Mr. McMahon has their future all mapped out. He asks if Mr. McMahon told him about New Years Day. Morrison says on New Year's Day Teddy Long has granted him his rematch for the Intercontinental Championship. McIntyre tells Morrison to celebrate all he wants New Year's Eve, because on New Year's Day his party is over. John asks if McIntyre has ever been to a party, because no one would want to party with him because they couldn't understand him. He goes on to say on New Year's Day the Friday Night Delight will beat him for the Intercontinental Championship. Morrison beats McIntyre to the punch for a cheap shot, and delivers Starship Pain before standing over him.
Kane vs. Mike Knox
Knox grabs a side headlock, and hits the ropes delivering a shoulderblock. Kane comes right back with an armdrag which he holds onto into an armbar. Knox punches free and goes for a suplex which is blocked by Kane into one of his own. Kane delivers a low dropkick to a seated Knox for two, and fires him shoulder first into the top buckle. Knox comes back to drive Kane into the corner, and buries a shoulderblock into the midsection. His charge however meets the boot of Kane, and he bails to the ropes as we head to break. Back from commercial and Kane is still in control delivering a clothesline to Knox as he heads over the top to the floor. Kane fires Knox back inside, but gets met with a big boot from Knox knocking him from the apron back to the floor. Knox fires Kane back inside, and heads to the top rope with a shot to the head. Knox works over Kane in the corner, and whips him to the buckle following up with an avalanche. Knox connects with a big splash for one, so Knox grabs a chinlock. Kane counters into a sideslam to buy him some time, but hits the ropes running into a standing dropkick for two. Knox goes back to the chinlock, but hits the ropes running into a big boot. Kane delivers his open handed uppercut, and follows up with a sidewalk slam for two. Knox goes up top and delivers a flying clothesline for two. Kane misses a charge in the corner, and Knox hits the ropes with a flying crossbody for two. Knox heads to the top rope, but gets met with an uppercut from Kane who goes up after him. Kane grabs Knox by the throat, but Knox knocks him off. Knox dives onto the waiting Kane, but he gets caught with a chokeslam from him and that finishes at 11:16. This was actually surprisingly good. Knox moves shockingly well for a big man, and Kane is always underrated. Winner: Kane (Pinfall-Chokeslam **3/4)
I want to wish each and every one of you fans and friends out there a blessed Christmas Day with your family and loved ones, and all the best for the coming year.

Decent show tonight, that finish on the first match was just to continue the feud

Knox and Kane need to team up semi-regularly. I like the idea of them being two guys who are perfectly fine working together or just beating the crap out of each other, not out of hate, but because they just enjoy it.

Kane underrated? I don't think so he has been sloppy as hell for at least 5 years now before that he was much quicker and sharper. Kane is one of the most boring guys to watch as all his matches are so telegraphed.
I actually dig Mike Knox his promos are awesome with the softly spoken voice... it's creepy as hell.

-> Opening Match was a complete DUD, The crowd was DEAD for that one (deadpool 2010 for Vladamir?)
-> Alot of people in the crowd were very much relieved when Chavo won that one. Me Too! About bloody time too! his 2nd win in about 6months!
-> Kane/Knox was a really good match for 2 big guys, Knox is starting to impress me!

Does ANYONE even care about Kozlov and Jackson? These two are perhaps the two most boring people to watch nowadays...
