Reminder, I do not rate matches that are under three minutes long…

-Opening video package.

-Taz and Tenay welcome us to the show.

THE CHAMP IS HERE

Bobby Roode, with new haircut, makes his way to the ring. Roode says the appearance has changed, the champ is still the same. He is still the it factor of pro wrestling, the leader of the selfish generation, and most importantly, he is still your World Champion. Crowd chants shut the hell up at him. Roode says it feels good to be the champion, and he reminds us that he promised that he would walk into Lockdown and defeat Storm in front of his family, friends and fans. And he made good on his promise. He says Storm delivered n his promise of superkicking him, but that kick destroyed Storm’s dreams, and Roode is still the champion. Roode says he has defeated all of the heroes of the fans, Storm, AJ, Hardy, Sting, and has far as he is concerned, there are no more heroes left to beat.

Mr. Anderson makes his way out to the ring. Anderson says no one left to beat huh? Please shut the hell up. He wile bat Roode’s ass and take his shiny title. Roode laughs him off, and says Anderson has been sitting at home, being an asshole, he has been the most dominant champion in the company’s history. He then tells Anderson to get in the back of the line.

Jeff Hardy now makes his way out. Hardy limps his way out to the ramp and down to the ring, selling the effects of his Lockdown match. Hardy says Roode is only champion is because of Angle, and Angle is out of the way. Hardy wants to get selfish and end him. Anderson says he was out there first. Hardy says it is his turn, and Anderson says he is here first. Roode eggs them on, and Anderson says he loves hardy like a brother, but doesn’t want to hurt Hardy.

Hulk Hogan appears on the big screen. Hulk says that he wants all the champions in the ring later tonight. As for the challengers, well they will have a #1 contender’s match tonight. And by the way, that is the main event tonight.

-They hype Hogan’s big announcement for later, as well as Angle vs. Styles.

Austin Aries and Matt Morgan vs. Bully Ray and Crimson

Morgan attacks Crimson at the bell as Aries chases after Ray. Clotheslines by Morgan, and a high knee lift connects. A catatonic follows and Morgan sets, MISSES the big boot and gets crotched. Crimson kicks him in the face and then lays the boots to the knee of Morgan. Ray then slams the knee off of the apron. Morgan fights back, but Crimson with a t-bone suplex. To the corner and a tag to Ray. He works the leg, and then big rights follow. Ray continues the attack on the leg, and a tag back to Crimson. Crimson with a DDT to the leg of Morgan, and into a version of a heel hook. Morgan gets the ropes and Crimson has to break. Tag back to Ray, and he goes back on the attack to the leg of Morgan. He mocks Aries, tags back in Crimson, and then wishbone Morgan’s legs. Mounted rights by Crimson, but Morgan back with a clothesline and both men are down. Tags to Aries and ray. Aries on fire here with punches. Crimson back in, kicks by Aries. Dropkick to the knee of Crimson, leaps onto Ray and lands rights. Crimson then accidentally spears Ray, Morgan sends Crimson to the floor. Heat Seeking Missile to Crimson! Back in, elbows to ray. Charging dropkick connects. Brainbuster try, but ray rolls him up with the tights for the victory.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Bully Ray and Crimson @ 6:00 via pin
RATING: **½

-Garett Bischoff walks.

-Jeff Hardy backstage says he beat Angle at Lockdown, and he feels he deserves the title shot. He says Hogan’s decision is fair.

-Garett Bischoff makes his way to the ring. Most of his Lockdown team, AJ, Anderson and Daniels, are with him. Garett says on Sunday, it was a big night for him. The fight was tough, but together, they went out there and fought a hell of a fight, and together, and he says he knows Aries is listening, they got rid of his old man. And he thanks then for that because he couldn’t have done it without them. AJ says Garett has some balls. AJ says he took a beating, showed heart and gave Eric a guitar shot.

Ric Flair now makes his way out. Flair says to shut up and pay attention. He mocks Garett, and says the talent is here only because of Eric “Bleep.” He says Garett is disrespecting Eric, and says Garett is a disgrace. He says AJ, who he loves, is a punk by association. Flair will have a tribute next week to Eric, on this show. He will have a party for the great man, he will host it, he will drink at it, and they are not invited. And yes, they bleeped out Eric’s last name, due to the Lockdown stipulation.

-Kaz and Daniels are backstage. They discuss “the secret,” which was always about AJ. Daniels says he has evidence, and they may unveil it tonight.

-Devon talks with Joe and Magnus about the meeting tonight. They all have no idea what the meeting is about.

AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle

So much for Angle’s time off. And here we go. Lock up, AJ works the arm. Rights by Angle, to he corner and a whip, counter and eats a boot by Angle. Go behind by Angle, AJ counters and then my screen goes blank. So we go to a commercial @ 1:00.

Back from commercial @ 5:00 with AJ landing clotheslines and a spin kick. Angle then sends him to the corner, but AJ with the springboard-flying forearm. Kaz and Daniels are at ringside. AJ counters an Angle slam, and Daniels gives him the “evidence,” which allows Angle to roll him up for he victory.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Kurt Angle @ 7:00 via pin
RATING: NR (due to technical difficulties and the fact that what we saw was so short.)

-Daniels tells AJ to keep it because they have more. Angle doesn’t look happy about the victory, but then celebrates.

-Joseph Park meets with Gunner, who says he doesn’t know anything about Abyss. Joseph grabs him and discusses default judgment. Joseph says he wants answers, and Gunner says he last saw him in the ring with Bully Ray.

THE BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

Joe and Magnus come to the ring, along with Gail Kim, Devon, Aries and Roode. I guess ODB and Eric are still on their honeymoon. We see Hogan in the back meeting with RVD. He thanks him for Lockdown and then says as a reward, he is in the #1 contender’s match tonight, since RVD never lost his title.

Back to the arena and here comes Hogan. Hogan says that when he is right he is right, and change is in the air. Starting next week, they will have an open fight night. Once a month, a new talent will come in and get a chance to come on the show and wrestle. He will have the chance to tell a story, have a match and be judged. If they are liked they will get a contract. And also, on that night, anyone on the roster, if they get challenged, they have to fight. Roode does not like this, and says that this is his show. No one tells him what too do, and Hogan says that they are here for a reason. If the champions get called out, they have to defend the title. Gail Kim now complains, and Hogan says that he will decide who defends the titles. He asks what the fans think, and says to Tweet him so he knows what champion gets to defend. Devon says he agrees, and says he wants to be a fighting champion, and he will face whoever his challenger is. Hogan is happy to hear that, because he has always loved the TV title, and starting from now one, the title gets defended each and every week. TESTIFY from Devon. Hogan says the champions fight, and things are changing around here. BROTHER!

Brooke Tessmacher, Tara, Velvet Sky & Mickie James vs. Gail Kim, Madison Rayne, Sarita & Rosita

Sky and Sarita to begin. Sky with the head scissors, but Sarita fights back, tag to Sarita and Sky fights back and gets a bulldog. Sky goes after Kim, but Rosita attacks. Kim tags in and beats down Sky, and covers for 2. Kim celebrates, blows some kisses and Sky battles back with boots. Kim escapes, Rayne in the ring now and a tag to James and a basement dropkick to Rayne. Flapjack follows and James up top. Sarita pulls her down, and Rayne over and covers for 2. Tag to Rosita, and a kick to James, and a RANA to a seated James for 2. Both ladies are down now, tags to Tara and Sarita. Rights by Tara, off the ropes and a shoulder block by Tara. Backdrop follows, and then a slam and the booty shake moonsualt. Rosita in and accidentally hits Sarita. Brooke in, double team on Sarita. Arm drag follows, and then a face buster for 2 as Rayne breaks that up. Kim tags in, forearms by Brooke and then clotheslines. It all breaks down now, they brawl, Brooke and Kim in the ring, Kim gets a roll up with the ropes, Sky stops that and they fight, roll up by Brooke and that is all.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Brooke Tessmacher, Tara, Velvet Sky & Mickie James @ 6:00 via pin
RATING: *¾

-Anderson talks about all the changes and tonight’s #1 contender’s match. He loves it. Tonight he has a match with RVD and Hardy, and will do whatever he can to win and face Roode.

-We see ODB and Eric on their honeymoon. They discuss their love and trust, and a waiter shows up and Eric gets offended and strips down to his underwear. Eric is icing down his balls by the way, friction burns.

-James Storm arrives.

TV Title Match: Devon © vs. Gunner

Gunner attacks at the bell and beats Devon down. Rights by Gunner, to the corner and more shots by Gunner. Devon battles back, chops follow. To the corner, back elbow by Gunner and a cover for 2. More rights follow, and then lays the boots to Devon and covers for 2. Gunner chokes out Devon, and then beats him down again in the corner. Devon battles back once again, but Gunner levels him and covers for 2. Knee drops by Gunner, and another cover for 2. Crowd chanting for Devon, Gunner still in control. Off the ropes and a shoulder block by Devon. Rights follow, and then clotheslines. Off the ropes, reversal and a flying shoulder block by Devon. Head butt off the ropes, corner splash follows. Another shoulder block by Devon, grabs Gunner, spinebuster connects and that is all.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Devon @ 3:00 via pin
RATING: NR

-James Storm now makes his way to the ring. He shares a hug with Devon as he exits, and the Cowboy is ready to speak to us. Storm says he wanted to come out here and say something to family, friends and fans. And that is that he is sorry, sorry because he let us down because he said he would win the title. He said it because he believed it. When he saw Roode’s face, he was trying to hurt him, which was his pride and ego. When he saw the doctors checking on him, he knew it was not enough. He wondered if he was good enough and wondered if he wanted to do this. Then he had to take the drive home, and when he got home he tucked in his daughter, and she asked to see the belt. But he had to tell her that he didn’t win it, and we all know that you do not want your kids to see a failure. When he looked at himself, he saw a beaten man. Bobby won the match, but he did not beat Storm. Storm beat himself. “I BEAT ME!” 15-years he wrestled through injuries, and he did it all because of the people. This is his piece of heaven, and he thanks the fans for allowing him to have this life. But now he has to thank his dad, who he loves, who he knows in heaven is proud of him. This is what he loved, and what he thought he loved. Roode said something, something about his luck, and maybe his was right. Maybe his luck has run out, and maybe…

Storm drops the mic and leaves the ring.

#1 Contender’s Match: RVD vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Mr. Anderson

And here we go. They jaw back and forth a bit, and Anderson wants a go at Jeff to begin. Anderson ends up clotheslining RVD and then lays a beat down on Jeff. RVD fights back now, lays both guys out and then celebrates. Monkey flip to Jeff, kick off the ropes to Anderson. Jeff gets a pinning combo for 2. Corner clothesline to RVD, corner dropkick follows. Facebuster suplex by Jeff on RVD for 2 as Anderson makes a save. Anderson slams Jeff into the steel post and covers RVD for 2. Chinlock by Anderson on RVD, RVD to his feet and then eats a DDT from Anderson for 2 as Jeff makes a save. To the corner, elbow by Jeff, whisper in the wind connects. All three men are down, the ref counts, they get to their feet and a neck breaker by Anderson on Jeff. Spinning kick by RVD connects on Anderson. Rolling thunder on Jeff, but Anderson gets the kamikaze roll on RVD. Twist of fate on Anderson by Jeff and all three are down again. Jeff up top now, SWANTON to Anderson. RVD kicks him and Jeff is down in the corner. FROG SPLASH by RVD to Anderson. Jeff up, backslide by RVD and he wins.

OFFICIAL RESULT: RVD @ 6:00 via pin
RATING: **
