WWE Saturday Morning Slam 10.13.12 (Episode 8)
-Scott Stamford welcomes us to the show for a run down of what we’ll see today.

Non-Title Match: The Miz © vs. Justin Gabriel
And here we go with the first of two matches scheduled for today. Miz hits a hit toss and acts like he is the shit, and then gets an arm drag, and once again celebrates. Lock up, and Miz slams down Gabriel and celebrates seven more now. Lock up, ff the ropes and after some counters, Gabriel with arm drags, hip tosses and a slam and cover for 2. Lock up, and Miz now works the hammerlock. Gabriel rolls through, escapes with an arm drag and then gets a roll up for 2. They are doing odd cuts to the announcers, like here where Gabriel was slammed to the corner, I guess too close to a head shot. Suplex by Miz follows, and a cover gets 2. Miz connects with a backdrop suplex and gets another cover for 2. Miz misses a kick to the face, and Gabriel rolls him up for 2. Gabriel sent to the apron, back in with a shoulder block and then MISSES a sweet looking asai moonsault. Skull crushing finale (camera cut away for it) finishes Gabriel.

-We now head to WWE music master Jim Johnson’s studio. Some of his favorites through the years have been Steve Austin, the Rock, Big Show, Degeneration X, and Triple H’s music. He then busts out some guitar riffs of the various themes.

Sin Cara vs. Jinder Mahal
MOOD LIGHTING…ENGAGED! Cara uses his speed early to annoy Mahal, who bails to the floor. Back into the ring and slams Cara to the mat. Lock up and a slam by Mahal, who then talks trash to Cara. Cara counters a slam and kicks Mahal in the back. Drop toehold and the roll up then gets 2. Cara gets the arm, and then hits the run up the ropes lucha arm bar…

~commercial time~

We are back from commercial and Mahal is in control. Mahal slams Cara to the corner, and then covers for 2. Cara counters a bow and arrow onto a cover for 2. Butterfly suplex by Mahal gets 2. he then slams Cara to the corner (which are all cut away from BTW) and then connects with the side slam for 2. Mahal now works the bear hug on Cara, who tries to escape, but is slammed to the mat. Cara counters out of a back breaker, hits the back spring elbow and then the head scissors. Cara tosses Mahal to the floor, and then hits a plancha. Cara rolls Mahal in and hits a slingshot splash for 2. Mahal fights back, and hits a powerbomb, which was again cut away from, and he covers for 2. He tries another, countered into a facebuster. Cara up top, hits the senton and that is all.
