Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio w/ Ricardo Rodriguez
Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio

Orton goes right to work by trapping Del Rio in the corning, beating him down to the mat, and whipping him out of the ring. Orton follows Del Rio out of the ring and bounces him off of the announce table. As a side note, I’m watching the show on the WWE.com stream, and there’s something wrong with the audio. Michael Cole, Jim Ross, and JBL seriously all sound like chipmunks. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, I’m just saying it’s interesting. Anyway, Orton rolls Del Rio back into the ring and continues to work him over, but Del Rio regains control by whipping Orton out of the ring. Del Rio retrieves Orton and applies an overhead wrist lock in the middle of the ring, but Orton muscles Del Rio to the corner to break the hold. Del Rio heads up top and Orton tries to knock him off the turnbuckle, but Del Rio takes the arm and applies the cross arm breaker while hanging over the top rope. Del Rio releases the hold, slides back into the ring, and whips Orton to the corner. Del Rio charges Orton in the corner, but Orton floats over into a roll-up pin for a two count. Both men get back to their feet, but Del Rio regains control with a Back Stabber to Orton’s arm (would that be an Arm Stabber?). Del Rio repeatedly punches Orton’s arm and goes for the over-the-top-rope cross arm breaker, but this time Orton successfully knocks Del Rio to the floor. Del Rio rushes back into the ring and locks in the cross arm breaker, but Orton gets a hand on the ropes to break the hold. Orton connects with his patented back breaker and goes for the rope assisted DDT, but Del Rio escapes and goes back to work on Orton’s injured arm. Del Rio sets up for the cross arm breaker, but Orton counters into an attempted RKO, but Del Rio escapes, but Orton finally hits the rope assisted DDT. Orton sets up for the RKO, but Del Rio counters in the Back Stabber. Del Rio again sets up for the cross arm breaker, but this time Orton counters into a power slam. Orton stomps a mud hole in Del Rio in the corner and takes Del Rio up top. Orton goes for the superplex, but Del Rio pushes him backward. Orton gets hung up with his legs on the second rope and his back parallel to the bottom rope, so Del Rio hits a top rope double stomp to the chest. Del Rio heads up top and looks like he’s going for something akin to a double ax handle, but he kind of loses his balance and just jumps down. Ugly spot right there. Orton goes for the RKO, but Ricardo interferes behind the referee’s back and slams Orton’s injured arm into the ring post. Del Rio locks in the cross arm breaker in the middle of the ring, but Orton rolls forward into a pinning predicament for a two count. Del Rio goes for the enzuigiri in the corner, but Orton evades and hits a mid-air RKO for the three count.

Match Result: Randy Orton defeats Alberto Del Rio with the RKO.

Bryan goes for the running knee off the apron to Rhodes, but Rhodes ducks causing Bryan to connect with Kane. Bryan and Kane again argue, but Rhodes rolls Bryan back into the ring. Rhodes hits Bryan with Cross Rhodes and goes for the cover, but Kane heads into the ring to break up the pin. Kane beats on Rhodes in the corner. Sandow tries to make the save, but Kane starts beating on both Rhodes and Sandow in the corner. Kane isn’t the legal man, and he refuses to stop assaulting Rhodes and Sandow, so the referee has no choice but to call for the disqualification. Bryan and Kane once again argue after the match.
