Santino Marella & Zack Ryder vs. The 3MB (w/Drew McIntyre):   I love the 3MB, period. Ryder starts off with Slater; they lock up and Heath works the arm and hits an armdrag. Ryder comes back with a pair of armdrags of his own. Slater hits a shoulderblock and tries to run the ropes but gets caught with another armdrag. Marella tags in and he hits a standing spinebuster. He hits a nice float-over snap-suplex for two. Slater heads to the ropes to break momentum and then tags in Mahal; Santino works a foreman’s carry into an armbar. Ryder tags in and they hit a tandem splash in the corner. Ryder mares Mahal and hits a dropkick to the back of the neck. Poor Ryder tries his high crossbody but misses, as usual, and sails over the top to the floor where Slater and McIntyre are waiting with boots. Back from commercial, Slater applies a chinlock. Ryder tries to fight back but Slater backs him into the bad guy corner where Jinder comes back with a swinging neckbreaker, for two. Mahal with a chinlock. Jinder then tries a suplex but Zack gets his flip-over into a neckbreaker counter; Santino is all sorts of fired up here. He comes in with lefts, the split-legged hiptoss and Salute head-butt. Mahal breaks up the pinfall and then gets extricated from the ring. Mahal clips his leg from the apron to fell him as Santino puts on the Cobra. Drew pops up on the apron so the Cobra strikes him; Mahal also tries to reenter and meets a Cobra as well. Slater is able to recover and hit the Smash Hit for the pinfall. 5/10 Not bad tag match; I enjoy just about everyone in this match so it was good for me. I think the 3MB is going to get over pretty quickly if they keep this amusing act up, they also continue to win too.

Here are your winners… The 3MB @ about 7:25 (broadcast) via Smash Hit pinfall.

Highlights of the AJ Scandal and subsequent kissing incident are shown.

Justin Gabriel (w/Tyson Kidd) vs. Darren Young (w/Titus O’Neil):   Here is yet another battle of former Nexus members. They trade waistlocks and Young mentions the Millions of Dollars. They lock up and Gabriel works the arm; he drives him down with an armbar. Gabriel gets a cradle and forearms him down. Young reverses and tosses Gabriel into the buckle. Young tries to speed it up, tossing Gabriel off the ropes but that’s right in his wheelhouse, and he is able to flip out of an attempted hiplock and cradle Darren, for two. Gabriel armdrags back into an armbar. You can see Kidd’s Hart influence on Gabriel as he works the limbs more in his matches in lieu of flying all over the place. Darren powers back and chops in the corner. Gabriel comes back with a tip-over head scissors putting Young on the floor right into O’Neil’s lap. Justin hits a baseball slide as Titus blows his whistle and we head to break. We return with Young firmly in control with a chinlock. During the break, Young hit a unique flapjack from the floor onto the apron to take control. Back to live action Young works a body scissors. He slams Gabriel and celebrates with Titus. He tries a suplex but Gabriel reverses into a cradle, for two. A backslide follows also for two. A kneelift ends the flurry as Young then works a backbreaker stretch. Matt Striker ponders why the Players do not get a manager or agent, because they make rape jokes and then get fired a month later for it. Young goes to a standing side headlock; they exchange blows but Justin gets the better of it with kicks. He wipes him with a big roundhouse kick to hype the crowd up. A springboard crossbody gets a nearfall. Young heads to the apron to smartly break momentum. He then nails a back suplex onto the apron, slides back into the ring, and gets two. Nasty looking mover there. Gabriel counters the Gut Check into a sunset but Young blocks and stacks him up for a close nearfall. Titus is upset. Justin hits a springboard reverse kick and finishes with a top-rope Lionsault for the pinfall. 6/10 Pretty good here too; Young and Gabriel, former Nexus, work a good one here as the tag division continues to heat up and get better as the actual tag teams are getting some matches on television. Superstars has become tag team haven where mainly tag wrestlers compete in singles or actual tag matches. Good stuff.

Here is your winner… Justin Gabriel @ about 12:00 (broadcast) via top-rope springboard moonsault pinfall.

The show concludes with the entire CM Punk 365 year celebration (despite 2012 being a leap year and Punk needing 366 days to complete the year) segment from Raw where Ryback tried to spoil the party but Team NXT interfered.

OVERALL 5.5/10 One pretty decent opening match and a fun main event this week as the tag team division is highlighted on this show. It’s too bad it’s buried on the Internet and not featured on network television since these guys are talented and fun to watch.
