Championship’s roll call: WWE Champion: CM Punk… World Champion: Big Show… Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston… United States Champion: Antonio Cesaro… Tag Team Champions: Team Hell No… NXT Champion: Seth Rollins… Diva’s Champion: Eve Torres

Santino Marella vs. David Otunga:   Wow, Otunga is already in the ring… on Superstars. Marella opens with punches and armdrags him, twice, into an armbar. Otunga comes back with a knee to the gut but makes the mistake of Irish whipping him… POWER WALK! Otunga tells him to stop so Marella takes him down with a double leg and armdrags into another armbar. A headlock takeover puts the lawyer again. Otunga switches into a leg scissors; Santino nips up into another armdrag. Otunga whips him cross-corner and Marella tries to float-over but it goes horribly, horribly wrong and Otunga gets face full of bootlaces. They recover and Santino gets a two count. Santino whips him into the ropes and tries a dropdown but Otunga holds the ropes and Marella eats a clothesline (after he gets up). Otunga pounds away and hits a neckbreaker, for two. Chinlock time. He comes back with a bodyslam; Marella tries to fight back but Otunga gets a suplex. He flexes and applies a chinlock. Santino tries another comeback but Otunga elbows him to the floor. Back from commercial, Santino is stuck in a chinlock. Shocking. During the break, Otunga rammed Santino’s lower back into the apron. Back to live action, Santino counters a neckbreaker with a backslide for two. Otunga maintains the advantage with slams, flexes, and rope-assisted elbow drops. An under the ropes hangman keeps the advantage; Marella tries a nip up but fails. Otunga hits another suplex and locks Santino into a Dragon Sleeper with a body scissors. Santino tries to twist it around for a nearfall; Otunga slams his head into the buckles but that fires Marella up. Otunga floors him with one punch but Santino gets the nip up this time and goes into comeback mode; split-legged hiplock and Salute head-butt follow but the head-butt misses. David misses a charge so Marella bops him with the Cobra for three. 3/10 The parts with Marella on O were entertaining; the parts where Otunga were on O sucked. Unfortunately the latter happened more that the sooner.

Here is your winner… Santino Marella @ about 9:35 (broadcast) via Cobra strike pinfall.

The painful AJ Scandal is the highlights from the first Raw recap; here’s my full review: click here. We get bonus additional highlights in the form of the entire John Cena and Dolph Ziggler match from Raw.

“Funkasaurus” Brodus Clay (w/Cameron & Naomi) vs. JTG:   Clay looks like he’s lost some weight. Clay pounds away on JTG in the corner and tries to mount the buckles but JTG pulls him off. He hits a running boot and applies a front facelock; Clay shoves him off and hits a clothesline. He hits the avalanche and Schuplex. The rhino head-butt sets up the Splat for the pinfall. Post-match, kids dance with Brodus. 1.5/10 Complete squash for Brodus there as JTG got nothing and lost in about a minute or two.

Here is your winner… Brodus Clay @ about 1:50 via Splat pinfall.

The show ends with Raw highlights from the Kane/CM Punk match where The Shield made an appearance. The Roman Reigns spear to Ryback nearly killed broke Punk’s neck.

OVERALL 2/10 Nothing but a squash and a boring Otunga/Santino affair to offset the oodles of Raw highlights; so if you missed Raw watch the show, if you watched Raw already, don’t bother with Superstars this week. WWE Main Event has REALLY cut into the match quality of this show, not that we were getting Randy Orton versus Alberto Del Rio every week, but the matches were much better than this.
