WWE MAIN EVENT 12.05.12 (Episode 10)
-Cole and Miz are the hosts for the week. Cole discusses the CM Punk knee surgery, and discuss the statement by Vince McMahon that I posted earlier today and will post below, since WWE announced it, it is no longer a spoiler…

-Cole and Miz hype the main event match for today, and then show footage from last week to show how the match was set up.

-Josh Matthews is with Kofi Kingston, and Kofi says he has always been the guy that flies around with a smile on his face. But when he beat Miz, a different side was released. Cesaro came out and said he was the best champion, and that bothered Kofi. Every now and then a wildcat has to show his teeth and drop the boom, and tonight is that time.

-We get a video package for Antonio Cesaro.

-Antonio Cesaro will defend his title at TLC against R Truth.

-Cesaro comes to the ring and says despite the WWE Universe’s best efforts, he is still the champion. He successfully defended the title on Raw, crushing the empty hopes and dreams of the crowd. The fans want others to do the work, and unlike them, he works hard and is still the champion. And remember, he doesn’t hate you he pities you. He even welcomes the USA chants, because these are the United States of Antonio!

-Kofi Kingston makes his way to the ring.

-Wade Barrett and R Truth join the commentary team

Non-Title Champion vs. Champion Match: IC Champion Kofi Kingston vs. US Champion Antonio Cesaro
And here we go. They both try to work the arm, counters and Cesaro slams Kofi down. To the corner, Kofi counters a hip toss and takes Cesaro to the corner. Big boot by Cesaro, to the corner, mount by Kofi and rights follow. Uppercuts by Kofi, and then a big one from Cesaro takes Kofi to the mat. Side headlock takedown by Cesaro. Kofi to his feet, fights out and then Cesaro with a shoulder block. Off the ropes and then a back elbow by Kofi sends Cesaro to the floor. Suicide dive by Kofi, and he talks smack to Barrett. Back into the ring and Kofi covers for 2. Cesaro to the apron, pulls Kofi to the apron and then slams Kofi down, shoulder first on the apron. Back in, takedown by Cesaro and he then works the arm. Gut wrench suplex by Cesaro gets 2. To the corner, counter and kick by Kofi, he heads up top and flies in but Cesaro counters into an arm bar on the fly. Kofi counters with a roll up for 2. Another throw by Cesaro and Kofi is down…

~commercial time~

We are back from the commercial as Cesaro keeps control, working the arm of Kofi. To the corner now, back elbow by Kofi. He flies off the second rope and EATS AN UPPERCUTT! Cesaro covers and gets 2. Kofi counters a suplex into a cover for 2. Uppercuts by Cesaro, and then sent to the apron. Shoulder blocks by Kofi and then sling shots Cesaro in. Dropkick by Kofi, and another one off the ropes. Boom drop connects. Kofi looks for trouble in paradise, but Barrett runs in and we have a DQ. Truth is in and brawls with Cesaro!

-The heels are sent to the floor, and Truth grabs the mic. He says since everyone wants to fight, he challenges Cesaro and Barrett to a tag team match, right here and right now!

Truth and Barrett to begin things. Clothesline to the floor by Truth. Insta-commercial…

~commercial time~

We are back from commercial as Barrett lands a shoulder block on Truth. Truth battles back and hits the leg lariat, and then tags in Kofi. Corner clothesline by Kofi, and he covers for 2. Barrett battles back by attacking the previously injured arm of Kofi. Cesaro tags in, works the arm and Kofi manages a tag to Truth. Off the ropes and a double hip toss and then kicks by Kofi. Off the ropes and a dancing leg drop by Truth gets a cover for 2. Truth tags back to Kofi, off the ropes and a flying forearm by Kofi gets 2. Kofi works the arm, lays in kicks to Cesaro and then Cesaro picks up Kofi and slams him in his corner. Tag to Barrett, snap mare and then Barrett works on the arm once again and then covers for 2. Barrett remains focused on the arm of Kofi, working an Anderson style arm bar. Tag back to Cesaro, and an elbow drop by Cesaro gets 2. back to work on the arm of Kofi, who works to his feet and escapes with a monkey flip, Tag to Truth, rights to Cesaro, catches a boot and then gets a clothesline. Another and a boot to the gut and gets the suplex into the stunner and covers for a close 2. Cesaro rolls to the floor, Truth follows and as Cesaro runs, Truth and Barrett brawl. Cesaro sneaks up on Truth and takes him down and then rolls him back in and covers for 2. Tag to Barrett, lays the boots to Truth and then delivers knees. Off the ropes and a boot by Truth, but then runs into a big boot, Barrett covers for 2. Truth tries to battle back, but rune into a knee to the gut, and Barrett covers for 2…

~commercial time~

We are back from a commercial as Cesaro is in and works a front facelock on Truth. Knee to the gut as Truth tries to fight back, but Truth fires back with the leg lariat and BOTH men are down! Cesaro tries to stop a tag, Truth fights, and kicks Cesaro away. Tags to Barrett and Kofi. Kofi flies in on Barrett, and runs wild with rights and chops. Kofi counters the black hole slam into a roll up for 2. Big cross body by Kofi gets 2. Sidekick by Barrett stops Kofi, tag to Cesaro and Kofi with the SOS but Barrett makes the save. Truth takes out Barrett, Kofi sets but misses trouble in paradise. Blind tag by Truth and as Cesaro has Kofi, Truth in with a top rope sunset flip with the trouble in paradise by Kofi to help and Truth pins Cesaro!

-Matt Striker is with the winners. Kofi says at TLC, a storm is coming for Wade Barrett, and he cannot wait to bring the thunder. BOOM! Truth says the people do want a chump for a champion, they want the truth. At TLC, Antonio will GET GOT. That’s the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

-I likes both matches, but I loved the fact that not only was the mid-card featured on the show, but that also the IC and US Champions were featured. Plus they helped to build the two title matches on the TLC PPV.

-Cole and Miz discuss the attack on Raw by Ryback and the fact that Punk needed surgery yesterday.

-We get highlights from Raw.

-We then see the full statement from Vince McMahon, which is above.

-The new TLC main event is a TLC match between Kane, Daniel Bryan and Ryback vs. The Shield.

-Next week on WWE Main Event, Ryback faces Alberto Del Rio.
