This was from the infamous #NJChantMob Raw so let’s see how the crowd reacts to the jobbers…

The Usos vs. Primo & Epico (w/Rosa Mendes):   Well, Jimmy and Jey are over; my Jersey crowd appreciates talented wrestlers and these two are just that… actually so are the Colóns for that matter. Epico and Jimmy Uso opens the contest; the Uso nails a leaping elbow and gets two. Jey tags in and they hit double elbow drops for a quick cover. Epico tries to slam Jey’s head off the mat but he’s Samoan so it has zero effect. Jey dances and hits an uppercut to the throat. He whips him cross-corner but meets a boot and high knee to the back. Primo tags in and they work over Jey’s arm; he SWEEPS THE LEG but misses a legdrop and Jimmy gets a tag. They whip Primo into a clothesline and Jimmy chops in the corner. Primo reverses and we get a chop battle; Jey tags and gets a one count. Jey applies an armbar and tags in Jimmy who comes off the top; Primo gets tossed off the ropes and Epico makes a bling tag and takes Jimmy out with a dropkick to the back. We head to break and return with Primo setting up Jimmy with a gourdbuster and Epico hitting a slingshot elbow drop, for two. Rosa adds a slap and Epico snags a chinlock. The fans rally Jimmy and he counters a neckbreaker with a backslide, for two. Epico hits a clothesline and tags Primo back in who hits a picture-perfect dropkick and a back suplex. Primo to the top but misses a splash off the top. Jey tags in and he runs over Epico with clotheslines and a savate kick; he hits all the Uso signature spots including: the twirling reverse forearm and Samoan Avalanche. He tries a swinging neckbreaker but Epico slips free and hits a Roll the Dice, for two. Epico tries the rolling backdrop suplexes enticing the crowd into their soccer-style chanting; Jimmy flips free and hits a Samoan Drop. Jimmy ascends to the top and hits the Superfly Splash; Jey wipes out Primo with a superkick as Jimmy pins Epico.   6.5/10 Excellent formula tag match; these two teams, probably the longest tenured actual tag teams in the WWE, really can work a tag match. This was a fun opener to get this crazy crowd up and running.

The fist Raw highlight package is the tail end of the Alberto Del Rio/Jack Swagger match where Dolph Ziggler cashed in Money in the Bank and crated “Insanity in the Izod Center.” After that the Shield tried to attack the Undertaker but Team Hell No showed up for the block.

The Great Khali (w/Natalya Neidhart & Hornswoggle) vs. Darren Young (w/Titus O’Neil):   The Players get a very good babyface pop for their entrance; fans are not so forgiving for Khali. I fear this match may be a “Bizarro World” match. Young tries the usual to open a Khali match but gets sent to the corner for the “frying pan chop.” We move to the opposite corner for more chops. O’Neil provides a distraction allowing Young to chopblock Khali down. He uses a leaping shin breaker and a SPINNING TOE HOLD! Where’s the Funker? A leglock is countered with a boot in the ass and Khali gets to his feet, which means the match is over. Young charges and Khali gets an elbow and boot up; he cancels Titus off the apron and drops Young with the Head Chop to mercifully end this match.   1.5/10 I feel bad for Nattie but at least she’s not farting anymore.

The show closes with Ryback “turning heel” on John Cena but the Izod center was having none of it.

OVERALL 4.5/10   Highlights and a Khali match would make this crap but the opening tag match gave it some merit as watchable. Luckily, that match is the opener so watch it and turn it off after that (unless you missed Raw).
