Bo Dallas & Adrian Neville vs. The Wyatt Family vs. Primo & Epico triple threat elimination tag:   Bray Wyatt is absent from ringside. This is two men in the ring at once rules so Dallas and Rowan open the match. Rowan applies a side headlock but Dallas fights back and tags in Neville who quickly heads to the top and drops a… double axe handle? I was expecting something involving a flip or roll. Bo goes up and hits gets own double axe. Dallas knees him and hits a pair of running boots to get the first nearfall of the match. He applies a front facelock but Erick launches him off and tags in Harper; Neville reciprocates and gets a wheelbarrow cradle for one. Neville tries a leaping DDT but Harper powers him back into the corner. Harper NAILS him with a European uppercut and a slam; he tries to stomp on him but Neville rolls around to avoid. He wanders too close to the opponent’s corner and Epico manages a tag. He runs right into an armdrag. Dallas tags and they hit a double team hiptoss. Dallas works an armbar and then turns it into a armlock suplex. Epico fires back but gets backdropped to the floor. Back from commercial with Harper beating the shit out of Bo Dallas; he rams him into the turnbuckles Bushwhacker style and tags in Harper. Luke goes right into a chinlock and methodically wears Dallas down. I just noticed that the referee is wearing sterile gloves. Not sure why he would require those? Dallas escapes via jawjacker and Harper stumbles backwards into a tag from Primo. He quickly cuts off the responding babyface tag and stomps the yard; he lands a snap-suplex and gets two. He backs Bo into the Colón corner for rapid tags and stomps there. Fans turn on Dallas again with a “no more Bo” chants. Primo sets up a Hilo from Epico with a Russian leg sweep, for two. Epico then goes for the double armlock to wear Dallas down some more; Bo gets up and flings Epico off but meets a clothesline and another chinlock so William Regal teases Brad Maddox jobbing to Big E Langston in under a minute. Maddox’s completely serious “I gave Big E the beating of his life but he still managed to eke out a win” is hilarious. Somehow Dallas frees himself and they knock heads for a double KO. Primo tags in and cannot prevent the hot tag to Neville. Adrian leaps into the ring and hits some lightening quick forearms and standing Shooting Star for… Epico runs in. Dallas spears him. Here comes the Family but Neville takes Harper out with a dropkick as chaos ensues. Primo tries to sneak in a schoolboy but Neville kicks out. Neville starts to speed things up with a bunch of backflips into the corner. He kicks Primo from the apron and heads to the top for British Airways (Corkscrew Shooting Star Press) to ELIMINATE Primo and Epico. Neville turns right into a discus lariat from Harper and gets pinned and ELIMINATED giving Wyatt Family the victory.   6.5/10 Pretty good match; I like the way this ended as elimination tags rarely end in rapid fire pinfall sequences. It keeps it realistic as the ending is smart for the Family; Harper saw Neville finishing Primo so instead of breaking up the pinfall, or trying to steal the win for himself, he lay in the weeds and waited for his opportunity to nail Neville with that lariat and score the victory. Good win for the Family.

A recap of the Summer Rae/Paige feud is shown. Summer has been recently promoted to the WWE as Fandango’s dance partner.

Paige vs. Summer Rae:   Since there are no NXT PPVs so we get the blowoff on free television. Summer attacks Paige as she is entering the arena. In the ring, Paige fires right back as the bell rings. She beats the snot out of Summer ramming her throat into the top rope. Rae begs off but then charges, missing a clothesline and gets whiplashed onto her back via the hair. She tosses her into the ropes a few more times and then SLAPS her in the face, even I went “ooh” on that shot; nice fisherman’s suplex from Paige nets two. Paige then continues the torture choking Summer in the ropes. Rae manages to force Paige into the corner and SCREECHES and she clubs away. She backs off and then charges… right into a spinebuster. Somehow Rae manages to roll through the move into an offensive position and they catfight on the mat. Summer rolls to the floor to break momentum as we head to break. We return with Summer tossing Paige into the ropes face first; she adds some single leg DDTs and mocks the scream. Rae with a seated Indian Deathlock; Brad Maddox then politically corrects William Regal, calling it a “Native American Deathlock.” Summer rolls it onto her belly and tortures Paige with in inverted Indian Deathlock until she makes the ropes to break the hold. Maddox is making me laugh on commentary. All of a sudden Paige comes back and biels Rae across the ring a few times by the hair. Rae tumbles to the floor and tries to walk off but Paige brings her back and launches her back-first into the ring apron. Back in the ring, Summer tries to sneak in a Bombshell but Paige catches the boot and nails the Paige Turner to get the pinfall.   5/10 Good match between two rather skilled divas. Yes, Rae is pretty good in the ring (from what I’ve seen) and I wonder if that is the end of this feud (with Rae getting a call up) but I doubt it.

Chris Jericho vs. Bray Wyatt (w/The Wyatt Family) if Bray Wyatt wins, Chris Jericho must join the Wyatt Family:   Before the match, Wyatt calls himself a hero and he will break down the wall. I’m glad they actually managed to sneak in a stipulation into this match. Also cool to see Jericho make an appearance in NXT. I wonder if these two crossed paths when Wyatt was Husky Harris. They lock up a few times so Bray puts the badmouth on Chris and gets slapped. He tosses Wyatt into the ropes and hits a dropkick. Wyatt takes a powder on the floor and yells at a few people; Jericho hits a baseball slide and tosses Wyatt into the post. Back in the ring, Jericho lands a top-rope crossbody for a nearfall. Erick Rowan makes a critical error grabbing Y2J’s ankle right in front of the referee and gets ejected; Harper gets to stay though, which makes sense since he didn’t do anything. Back from commercial, Jericho in control and clubbing away; he hits the ropes but Wyatt shoves him to the floor and distracts the referee. Guess what happens on the floor. Harper kicks Jericho SQUARE in the face to give Bray the advantage. He meets Y2J on the floor and pummels him and rams him into the apron. Back in the ring, Wyatt drops some elbows as I stop my review to watch the inexplicable Knicks collapse in their playoff game against the Celtics. A 20-0 run… really? I return and Wyatt is still dropping elbows. We move onto a chinlock. Jericho tries a comeback but Wyatt keeps him at bay with a knee to the guts off the ropes, for two. Back to the chinlock. Jericho tries to come back again but Wyatt pushes him into the ropes and gets a nearfall; we return to the chinlock and a snap vertical suplex from Wyatt. He misses the running senton and Jericho mounts the comeback with shoulderblocks and a top-rope sledge. He hits the ropes and nails the one-handed bulldog. Harper tries to interfere but gets knocked off the apron with the Jericho Dropkick. Wyatt manages to upend a distracted Y2J with a running clothesline… for two. He misses a punch and gets planted with a running enziguri for two. Jericho gets caught with a running crossbody, looked like a spear with the side of his body, for two. Bray almost gets caught in the Walls but escapes to the floor. Chris retrieves him but gets blindsided by Harper and sent into the post. Back in the ring, Wyatt gets two more; he punches away in the corner and hits a running splash. He goes for Sister Abigail but Jericho reverses into the Walls; Harper pops up onto the apron so Y2J slingshots Wyatt into him. He slaps on the Walls of Jericho to finally get the submission victory.   7/10 Quite the main event match there; Wyatt hung with Jericho all of the way to the end and looks incredible in the loss. Y2J overcomes some serious odds to garner the win. Save for a bunch of chinlocks, this was a spirited affair and worth a watch.

OVERALL 7/10   Great show this week with three quality matches; two of which had some storyline behind them. NXT continues to entertain every week. Track down the Jericho/Wyatt match it’s worth it.
