411’s IMPACT WRESTLING REPORT 6.13.13

Reminder, I do not rate matches that are under three minutes long…

-We get highlights from last week’s show.

-Hulk Hogan makes his way to the ring to kick off the show. Hogan plays to the crowd a bit, and says things could have been worse last week. He had the hammer and was ready to take out Bully, but at the end of the day Bully has caused so much drama he told Brooke to stay home this week. Now tonight we will know all 12 competitors for the BFG Series. Samoa Joe, Hernandez and Jay Bradley. Two other guys are also set for the series, and they are the last two winners, Bobby Roode and Jeff Hardy. Since they have previously won the series, they get a free pass and do not have to qualify this year.

Jeff makes his way to the ring. Jeff is tired of Aces and 8s, and plans to win the BFG Series this year, and will win the world title. Bobby Roode then makes his way out to the ramp and says that he doesn’t need an introduction. Everyone knows that he is the longest reigning champion in the history of Impact Wrestling. He won the first ever BFG Series, and this year, he will do it again. Hogan says that next week is open fight night, and the fans can vote on who get the first call out between the two. Roode blasts the idea, and says he hopes they all vote for him, because next week he will walk out and call out Hardy. And when he does he will kick his ass. Jeff challenges him to do it now…

But the Aces and 8s make their way to the ring. Ray has the music cut and asks why everyone is so hostile? It doesn’t matter who wins the BFG Series, because the winner has to face the champion, which will be Bully Ray. He then asks why none of the Aces and 8s are in the series. Hogan says they get one spot, and they will have an Aces and 8s battle royal, and the winner gets the spot. Ray says no matter who makes it into the series, Aces and 8s will target them, and it is all Hogan’s fault. He sends Aces and 8s to attack Roode and Jeff, but they clear out Brisco and Bischoff. Roode then attacks Jeff, and bails.

-Kaz and Daniels make fun of Storm and Gunner. They then say that they are the best and they will win their tag match and make it into the BFG Series. Daniels says that either he or Kaz will win and will take the world title.

Bound For Glory Series Qualifier: James Storm and Gunner vs. Christopher Daniels and Kazarian

Storm and Daniels to begin, they lock up, to the corner and rights by Storm. Off the ropes, shoulder block by Storm and then a hip toss to Daniels. Boot, suplex follows and then the knee drop also connects for Storm. Tag to Gunner, double shoulder block on Daniels and a cover gets 2. Daniels tags in Kaz, gets caught in the sack of shit slam. Kaz tries to use his speed; trip by Daniels and then the big leg drop by Kaz connects. Daniels tags back in, lays in the ground and pound on Gunner. Tag back to Kaz, double teams on Gunner, and a cover by Kaz for 2.Gunner battles back through another double team, tag to Storm and a forearm to Kaz. Atomic drop, neck breaker follows and Storm gets a spear in the corner. Alabama jam on Kaz follows for 2 as Daniels makes the save. Gunner takes down Daniels, attacks Kaz and hits the high knee lift. Torture rack by Gunner, Daniels stops that and tosses him to the floor. Double teams on Storm, he fights back, back stabber on Daniels. Lung blower on Kaz! He looks for the superkick, but Daniels nails him with the world title and Kaz rolls him up for the victory!
