Championship’s roll call: WWE Champion: John Cena… World Champion: Alberto Del Rio… Intercontinental Champion: Curtis Axel… United States Champion: Dean Ambrose… Tag Team Champions: The Shield… NXT Champion: Bo Dallas… NXT Tag Team Champions: The Wyatt Family… Diva’s Champion: AJ Lee

Bo Dallas joins for some words and is all smiley. He does not care who he faces for the title; he will take on anyone anywhere. He quotes his “mentor” Bret Hart. He begins to talk about his “match” at WrestleMania. Antonio Cesaro wanders in and insults Dallas. He says he did everything the hardway and calls Bo the downfall of the once great country. He quotes “We the People,” which is good since I was not sure where this show was in terms of WWE storylines. So he’s with Zeb Colter already but still wearing the beret. He also says “no more Bo.”

Paige vs. Alicia Fox NXT Women’s Championship tournament, semi-final:   Alicia is acting like a babyface but she’s CLEARLY a heel against Paige. They lock up and Paige gets a cradle right off the bat, for two. They work a headlock/head scissors series complete with nip ups. Alicia comes back and uses the hair, then slips to the floor to taunt her. Fox returns and works a waistlock but Paige backs her into the corner and gets a bunch of elbows in her face; Alicia tries a unique rollup out of the corner but Paige rolls through. Alicia gets a low side kick in to take over. Here’s the Northern Fox Suplex for two. Alicia may have her faults in the ring but she performs a beautiful Northern Lights, it never pins anyone but looks nice. She tosses Paige into the buckles a few times and puts a shin to the throat in the ropes. Alicia then hooks in a chinlock for a while. Quite a while actually until a jawjacker breaks it up. Paige fires up and tosses her around by the hair. She puts Alicia in the 619 position and gets in a bunch of knees. Back in the ring, Alicia surprises her with a dropkick, for two and takes back over… until Paige kicks her in the guts and links up the Paige Turner for the pinfall. Paige moves onto the finals (duh).   5.5/10 Actually, this may have been the best Alicia Fox match I have ever seen. Decent back-and-forth battle between these two. Paige gets the obvious win into the finals, the one question remains: will it be a feud conclusion between her and Summer Rae or will the WWE go most popular divas with Paige versus Emma.

Here is your winner… Paige via Paige Turner pinfall

Andy Turner vs. “The Ascension” Conor O’Brian (w/Rick Victor):   Perhaps the beginning of the new Ascension tag team. Rick Victor was eyeballing O’Brian a few weeks ago, then he cut a cryptic promo mentioning “them.” Victor is a good replacement. New ring gear for O’Brian as he is in long black gothic-like pants. Turner comes in but O’Brian beats the shit out of him with a series of shoulderblocks and the rolling headlock. Turner kicks his way back but O’Brian quickly shrugs it off and plants him with a flapjack and legdrop for the pinfall.   3/10 Squash for O’Brian to introduce the new member of the Ascension. Should be a tag team now which NXT will need since the Wyatts are headed to the WWE; they need some teams.

Here is your winner… Conor O’Brian via flapjack/legdrop pinfall

In the back, Corey Graves and Adrian Neville discuss the Wyatt Family injuring Kassius Ohno last week. Graves notes that Neville will be teaming with him since the Wyatts took out one of each of their tag partners. Corey says they will stay down.

Xavier Woods vs. Scott Dawson (w/Sylvester Lefort):   William Regal’s “my funk soul brother” line about Woods cracks me up. Dawson’s ring attire looks more and more Anderson weekly. They lock up and Dawson backs Woods into the corner and roughs him up a bit. A high-angle tip-over in the corner sets up a schoolboy for two. Chops follow. Woods with an atomic drop and some more chops; Dawson gets caught again but an eyerake saves him. He tosses Woods off the ropes, which is a bad idea as he speeds up into a tilt-a-whirl head scissors. We works an armbar until Dawson shoves him onto the apron and knocks him off. Dawson gets the thumbs up from Lefort and DRAGS Woods back in the ring by the ‘fro. He methodically pounds away with some elbows and legdrops; Dawson with a chinlock. Woods begins to fire up with some European uppercuts and clotheslines; a running dropkick sets up the Honor Roll (rolling lariat) and Lost in the Woods for the win.   4.5/10 Not too bad; I like Woods’ character (I like Dawson too, but he’s predominantly a tag wrestler) so the win here for him was good. The match was okay as it is.

Here is your winner… Xavier Woods via Lost in the Woods pinfall

Bray Wyatt discusses beasts in the woods from his rocking chair in the backwoods somewhere. I see Erick Rowan is wearing his sheep mask.

Mason Ryan vs. Enzo Amore (w/Colin Cassady):   Pre-match, Enzo calls Ryan soft… spelled “sawft.” Ryan punches Enzo in the face right at the bell and gets the pinfall. Isn’t a closed fist illegal? Post-match, Amore tells Cassady to get into the ring and fight Ryan, so we get…

Mason Ryan vs. Colin Cassady (w/Enzo Amore):   Ryan gets the immediate advantage and hits some corner clotheslines and a lariat off the ropes. Ryan plants him with a Cobra Clutch Bomb and the quick pinfall over Cassady as well.   2.5/10 A pair of squashes for Ryan. I actually like Enzo’s character and putting him with a really tall large man for backup is the right way to go. He has hysterical mic skills and I think he could get over.

Here is your winner (twice) Mason Ryan via Cobra Clutch Bomb pinfall

NXT Heavyweight Championship Bo Dallasvs. Antonio Cesaro:   The bass ackwards booking of Dallas continues. Cesaro has the Gadsden flag with him. Fans are all over Dallas with the “no more Bo” chants. Cesaro tries to shoot the half but Dallas fights; he manages to get a backslide in for two. They exchange holds and Cesaro works an armbar. Dallas escapes a fireman’s carry takedown. Cesaro takes the advantage back and pulls the fingers back to amplify the nastiness. Cesaro turns it into a side headlock. Dallas comes back with a dropkick and only gets two. Cesaro comes back with a European uppercut and then uses a new move I’ve not seen: a schoolboy right near the ropes causing Dallas to fall backwards onto the floor. William Regal is rather impressed as well noting that he is jealous that he didn’t think of that himself. Cesaro retrieves him and gets two in the ring. Back from commercial with Leo Kruger appearing on the stage to scout Dallas who is entrapped in a headlock. He continues to work Bo over with some kicks and a reverse chinlock. Dallas begins a comeback out of nowhere with clotheslines and a bulldog out of the corner. Cesaro comes right back with his standing chinlock; Dallas backs him into the corner and reverses a slam into a diving inverted DDT, for two. He tries the springboard bulldog but Cesaro crotches him to counter. Kruger has navigated himself all of the way to ringside by the way. He then pulls Dallas into the corner and gets a deadlift gutwrench SUPERPLEX for two. Cesaro drops a second rope knee off the ropes and gets two more. He wears Dallas out with a chinlock but Bo reverses into a cradle for two. Cesaro gets a fall-away cradle for two more. He results to punches in the face and double stomp; he heads up top again but Dallas pulls him off with a pop-up belly-to-belly. NOW Kruger decides to make his move but Dallas sidesteps a charging Cesaro and he crashes into Kruger, stumbling into the side belly-to-belly for the pinfall. Post-match, Dallas gets an over-the-top victory celebration… and gets blindsided by Kruger and planted with Kruger’s End. Cesaro recovers and takes Kruger out with a European uppercut for costing him the title and then beats the shit out of Dallas. Bo begins a comeback so Kruger comes to the rescue. The two heels decide to form an alliance out of hatred and work over Dallas until Sami Zayn comes to his aid.   6/10 Dallas with a VERY John Cena like victory here. The post-match mêlée was much more entertaining than the actual match. I smell tag team match next week. As for the match itself; it was not too bad.

Here is your winner… Bo Dallas via side belly-to-belly pinfall

OVERALL 5.5/10   This was a pretty good show this week; Dallas is going to be an interesting study as he is over but not in the way that the WWE wants him. Clear X-Pac Heat here. The rest of the show is pretty good with the possible reformation of an Ascension tag team as well as the second round of the Women’s title tourney begins.
