WWE CEO Triple H makes his way down to the ring to open the show. He welcomes the live crowd to Night of Champions, and somebody in the truck forgot to switch off the Spanish Announce Team's audio after their introduction, so we're hearing them talking right over the boss. Awesome. That problem eventually gets resolved, and Triple H says that he knows what the people want is what's best for business. Triple H promises that there will be no interference from anyone during the WWE Championship Match. No Shield, no Big Show, no one, just Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan one-on-one. So with that said… Are you ready? He said, ARE YOU READY FOR NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS? The show seems about to start, but suddenly Paul Heyman and Curtis Axel make their way down the ramp. Heyman has been trying to get in touch with Triple H, and he has a desperate need to speak with Triple H. He didn't want it to be in public, in Triple H's ring, face-to-face, but he has a real serious problem with what Triple H thinks is best for business. Triple H says that Heyman looks terrible. When was the last time he slept? When was the last time he showered?!?! He's a wreck! Heyman respects and admires Triple H's vision and leadership, but tonight he's made one serious error in judgment by putting a middle-aged father of two in a match against CM Punk. CM Punk doesn't just want to wrestle Heyman, he wants to hurt Heyman. He wants to give Heyman such a beating the Heyman will never be seen in WWE again. He's begging Triple H to cancel the match against CM Punk. Triple H asks if Heyman's fear has anything to do with the fact that the Handicap Elimination Match has been made a NO DISQUALIFICATION Handicap Elimination Match. Triple H also asks why Heyman is so scared, because he would have to reason to be scared if he truly believed Curtis Axel. Curtis Axel says that he knows the real reason that Triple H won't cancel the match is that Triple H is still angry that Curtis Axel beat him back in May. Triple H says that Axel shouldn't have poked the bear. This show is called Night of Champions, the night when EVERY Championship is on the line. So Triple H is going to book Curtis Axel in a match for the Intercontinental Championship Match against the first Superstar Triple H finds in the back. And that match… is next.
