Nitro recap

Kanyon asks Smooooooth for advice. Now that’s Smooth.

Thunder open

Announcers say that Tenay was beaten up by Steiner in an interview.

Tankberg comes out, with 3count. Tank on the mic, he’s upset about Nitro. He’s going to make sure we all get to see 3count sing by standing on his green square in the entrance. He goes to dance while they sing, and from the crowd the Dragons attack 3count, and then Muta attacks Tank. Into the ring, is this a match?

Jung Dragons and the Great Muta vs. Tank and 3count
Tank beaten down to start. Triple team on Yang. Double team on Yang by Shannon and Shane, Kaz makes the save. Muta comes in and clears out 3count. Muta goes to spray mist at Tank, he uses a green circle to block. Tank hits Muta with circle. Tank in, knocks out Yang with a punch, and Shannon covers for the pin.
Winners: Tank and 3count

Kanyon goes to talk to the Cat. He gives Cat a book, and if he autographs the book, Cat will give him Jarrett.

Commercial Break

MIA have a meeting about the night, and then the Perfect Event attacks. They go over to Major Trash, and she hits them in the penis with the Lex Flexer.

BIG Stevie Ray joins the announce position. He’s happy for his brother.

Demon vs. Heavy Metal Van Hammer
Vampiro comes out, then points to the Demon’s coffin. The Demon is here in full costume. Demon in control to start. Hammer picks up Demon and dumps him. Announcers talk about how Demon has succumbed to Vampiro. Hammer to the middle rope, Demon catches him with Cobra Clutch Slam (Love Gun).
Winner: Demon

After the match the Phantom of the Sting is atop the Thunder Vision and points at them with a bat.

Backstage Kidman mocks Storm’s Canada Anthem, to which Storm replies I’m From Calgary……………………… Alberta Canada

Kanyon cuts some guy in the back then does “BANG” to the camera

David Flair and Miss Hancock walk

You Can’t Powerbomb Kidman and Lance Storm vs. Jindrack and O’Haire
During the Canadian National Anthem, Kidman mocks Storm from behind. Bunny ears. Dancing. Reading a newspaper. Lance attacks the rooks to begin and to the floor, but J&O guerilla press them back to the ring. They take control. Kidman with a blind tag, does a tornado bulldog on Jindrack. Hot Tag to O’Haire, and he clears house. Storm is in, dropkick. Goes to work on O’Haire. Crazy action. Storm to the floor and out, Shawnton bomb on Kidman! (Tony: That’s His Move!)
Winners: Jindrack and O’Haire.

After the match, Storm helps up Kidman then a superkick. Ladies and Gents, it’s a heel turn.

Vampiro teaches Demon about the darkness. Then runs down Sting

Gene interview Big Vito. As Vito babbles on, Hancock and David watch him on the monitor. She wants Gold, and tells him to get it. He talks about championship canolis and championship vino, then gets hit with a stick by David.

WCW Hardcore Title Match
Big Vito (c) vs. David Flair
David in full control as we move to the Thunder entrance. Brawling on the thunder stage. We move to the ringside area, and Vito has taken control. David is in a suit by the way. Vito tosses David into the ring, and Vito follows, but David brings him in the HARD WAY with a suplex. David grabs a chair, and here comes Miss Hancock. David goes for the figure four, Vito grabs a handy stick ball bat and hits David. Superkick. Look it’s Lenny Lane in the crowd holding up a use me sign. Vertical suplex by Vito, he goes to the top and hits a big elbow. Hancock on the apron. Vito goes to kiss her! She is grossed out! Vito goes back to work on David. Hancock is upset. Vito sets up a cone on David’s crotch and hits the cone into David with the bat. Vito gets a table and puts David through it.
Winner: Vito

Jarrett tells Cat he’s taking the night off.

Earlier tonight, Kanyon cut some guy

Perfect Event vs. General Rection and Ragin Homo Lash Leroux w/Major Trash
Rection and Chuck to start. Lash is now double teamed by TPE. Lash in trouble. Cool tilt a whirl slam by PerfectShawn. Guerilla press slam by Shawn? No Lash gets out of it, and both men are down. Hugh is in, and he clears house. Rection now in trouble. Rection gets a powerslam on Chuck, and now both of them are down. Lash tagged in, missile dropkick on Chuck. Bourbon Street Blues for 2. Match dragging… Rection gets a pin, Shawn in with the flexer hits the ref, Lash dropkicks Shawn. Ref is up, thinks Rection hit the ref, and gives match to TPE.

Booker T comes out for an interview. Runs down the Chosen One. He rambles on, here comes Dogfaced Rick, and he says Scott was wrong on Nitro. Says he will rectify the Steiner name, but wants to shake his hand. Booker reluctantly shakes his hand. Then to the shock of absolutely no one, attacks Booker T. Rick has the best of Booker until Stevie Ray runs in and attacks Rick. Rick gets away with security down at ringside, and steals the World Title. Rick gets a chair, and who makes the save but Mike Awesome! Rick clears out, then Awesome hands the belt to Awesome.

Daffney and Crowbar prepare.

Shane and SuperHotTorrie walk. She’s not gonna break a nail, is she?

Cat and Kidman chat, Cat warns him not to interfere in the next match. Cat says if he doesn’t interfere tonight, we have Kidman vs. Storm tonight! Whoo hoo!

Shane Douglas and SuperHotTorrie vs. Crowbar and Daffney
Shane and Torrie both on the mic. Crowbar attacks quickly and tags control with a cool Japanese arm drag. Daffney is in. Torrie is taunted into the ring, and she’s upset. Crowd is hot! Cat fight. Men back in, Shane blocks a vertical suplex then hits it himself. Shane tags in Torrie when Crowbar is down. Big splash! Only 2. She goes for a tag, Crowbar catches her, and tags in Daff. HAIR PLUG SNAP MARE! Men back in, Crowbar with a dropkick. Northern lights for 2. Bodyslam. Lionsault for 2. TEN PUNCH COUNT ALONG by Crowbar. Shane back in control, release powerbomb. Powerbomb again, Crowbar floats down, but Shane hits the Franchiser.
Winners: Shane and Torrie

Daffney attacks Shane, he gets her down.

Booker sees Cat, he wants Rick tonight. Cat can’t do it. Why not? Cat gave Rick to the big man, and we see Awesome walk by with a “thanks cat”

Big Poppa Pump interview with Midajah. Why did you attack Nash. Steiner snaps on Tenay calling the Huricanrana the Frankensteiner. Steiner is upset about the tenor of this interview. What about Goldberg? Steiner runs him down. Screw the fans. Tenay wants to know where all this anger is coming from. Tenay thinks perhaps his childhood? This makes Steiner snap and choke Tenay.

Cat walks, and the Creepy Japanese Music starts, and here are the Dragons! They all attack at once, Cat ducks and they all collide.

Lance Storm vs. You Cant Powerbomb Kidman
USA chat as Kidman attacks in the entrance. Brain: All across the country, people are talking about Lance Storm. Stevie Ray: Bobby, no one is talking about him. Storm gets a chair as we move into the ring. Some rolling and stuff. European uppercut by Lance and a legdrop for 2. Bridge Northern Lights suplex by Lance. Kidman with a Victory Roll for 2 and a dropkick. Kidman to the top, Storm crotches him. Superplex for 2 by Lance. Storm in cotrnol. Goes for a powerbomb on a chair, but everyone in unison… You Cant powerbomb Kidman, so he floats over and hits the face buster on the chair for the pin.
Winner: Kidman

Buff arrives with… FORMER TAG TEAM CHAMPION JUDY BAGWELL IS HERE TOO! Kanyon comes over and they hug?

Judy Bagwell is out cold in a neck brace, Buff is over to her.

Mike Awesome vs. Dogfaced Rick
Rick on the mic… could we hear it? YES!!! You want some? COME GET SOME! You don’t like me? BITE ME!!!!! Awesome runs down and attacks to start. Rick to the floor, Awesome flies at him. Back inside. Rick uses ref to block Awesome then take control. Rick slowly beating down Awesome. Awesome elbow out of the corner. Awesome to the top, Rick meets him. Rick goes for a belly to belly superplex and hits! Cover for 2. Steiner line. Rick is distracted, Awesome rolls up for a fluke pin.
Winner: Awesome

Rick attacks after the match and Booker T makes the save! Axe kick! Harlem sidekick! Crowd is alive! Booker and Mike Awesome hug!

The Chosen One vs. Who’s Better Than Kanyon
Amateur style stuff to start. Kanyon takes control. Vertical suplex. JJ in control. Both are heels, crowd is confused. Brawling moves to the floor, and JJ uses the STEEEEEL chair. JJ jaws with Harlem Heat at the announce position, and Kanyon attacks from behind. Back into the ring. Kanyon has the book, JJ blocks. Ref giving them probs. Brawling moves to the floor, and JJ pushes Booker T. Pull apart with HH and JJ. Buff runs down and attacks Kanyon. Yadda yadda yadda. JJ has the Stroke and gets the pin.
Winner: JJ
